Pacific Lumber And Fence built an obviously stout and stunning fence. As you can see in the pictures, The fence is assembled with high quality, weatherproof screws. Even though I did not upgrade the wood, what they installed is all heart wood with almost no knots. Dave hit a grand slam with my fence! Replaced both sides of my property fencing. Each side took him a day. He makes sure you have a secure property at the end of the day. Dave also fixed my pergola. We had our fence replaced today and it looks amazing. Dave is such a pleasure to work with. They were able to finish the job in one day. At first, with all the great reviews and our gate falling apart, we thought let's give it a shot. I called them on a Wednesday morning and they said someone could be out there in 45 minutes. Much to my satisfaction, Dave came in 15 minutes. He measured the fence with the gate that we need and I told him about the side fence that needs some panels replaced. He then gave me his card and said they'd call me with a quote. Here we are now, over a week and a half later with 2 voicemails left for Dave for our quote and we've heard NOTHING. Not even "this job isn't work our time or your money". Worst experience ever. read more

What a pleasure dealing with a local. Dave gave me a verbal estimate over the phone, then came out and personally dropped off an estimate. He was available to build our fence within three days of our call. He said his crew would be here at 8:00 AM and they were! The crew worked all day, finishing an 85 foot fence and 6 foot gate. The work was well done, and the crew cleaned up everything, hauling away old materials, and cleaning up all evidence of their work. He asked for no down payment. He dropped off the final invoice (one for me and one for my neighbor) a week after the job. Couldn't be more pleased. read more

If you need a new fence please call Dave at Pacific Coast Fence. My fence got blown down during at storm and I had to get several estimates. I called six different fence companies in Gilroy and left messages. The only person to call me back was Dave and he was out that afternoon to give me an estimate and because I had to deal with Association and a neighbor I told him I'd get back to him on a start date for the work. The assocation also sent a fence company over and their estimate was just $20 more and even if they were less they never rang the bell and introduced themselves. When I called Dave back he was able to accomdate my work schedule and the time frame I needed to get the fence fixed because I have pets. read more
