So they were behind from picking up riders who hadn't pre-scheduled? Because I highly doubt the small town of Florence has that many people pre-scheduling taxi rides. And if they did, shouldn't the dispatcher have communicated that to me when I called the first time so I could possibly have arranged for an earlier pickup so we wouldn't be late for our engagement? The dispatcher was also fairly gruff and unapologetic each time I spoke to her. Truly awful customer service in every way. As soon as the town has more than one Uber driver this business will likely fold because they clearly don't know how to treat people.
