Ms. Taylor, Ms. Priscilla and all the teachers do such a great job at making SEA such a special place and learning so much fun . They teach our kids not only academics but also life skills and how to play in a very creative way which is a lot more important at a young age. They make holidays like mothers day, fathers day, Halloween, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Valentines super special and you feel like a big family. All the teachers were good but some were extraordinary Ms. Michelle, Ms. Emily, Ms. Cristy, Ms. Dianne, Mr. Nick, Ms. Myriam, Ms. Parvin whom I call the baby whisperer are all such kind, patient, caring teachers smd caregivers. The teachers, directors, and support staff love Annie like she' their own and that philosophy is felt to the core. Particularly, Annie has been with Miss Tammy and Miss Paige this past year in Dolphins and these two teachers have been immensely valuable in supporting Annie's development. Beyond that, they've also helped me build my own confidence as a parent, which has only strengthened and supported my connection with Annie. We'll greatly miss SEA and will forever be part of the family. 10/10 recommend!!

We had a lawyer look at our IEP and it was described as one of the best he's ever seen. We wouldn't have gotten there without Kristy. I paid Kristi a flat fee to work with us. She had explained that this would cover unlimited phone calls, emails, meetings, etc until the IEP process was completed. Unfortunately, Kristi was really busy handling many IEPs and didn't have the time to return phone calls, emails or even texts. We didn't communicate often, but when I did reach out, I would have to re-email or re-text to ask if she had seen the email or text. The amount of work she put into my son's case was extremely disappointing. I had been messaging her leading up to the scheduled IEP date to discuss the paperwork the school had sent me with no response. She literally called me ON HER WAY to my son's school the day of the meeting to go over everything quickly with me. During the meeting, it was apparent that she hadn't already read the IEP as she said she would, and was "winging it". This was far different than she had originally advertised what this experience and process would be like. In hindsight, I really wish I had used the other advocate I had in the past... I would have saved money and received better help in the process. When I brought my concerns up with Kristi regarding the lack of time and effort she had spent on my son's case and asked for a refund of some of the fee, she was short with me and offered a very small amount back. Even that took much prodding and reminding for her to actually process the small refund. I would be careful if using her services and perhaps get the scope of work down in writing. Also, be prepared to do the heavy-lifting yourself.

Of course even more biased because I have been on the PTA here for the last 10 years. Gotta put a plug in for the PTA....but they work hard to make sure our staff and kids get 100% support! Mr. T set high standards for this school and with our new principal Mr. Lee he has even set the bar higher. They have both done an extremely awesome job with the school. We have a lot of activities that we do for the kids from our money making Fall Festival, Spring Jog-a-thon, Family Movie Nights, Family Dance, etc. Casa Mira View across the street is a tremendous assistant financially to our school. Perfect place to live so the kids can walk right across the street. Our PTA supports an awesome art program through Art Corps. This allows the kids to learn 8 fantastic art lessons which we then present at the end of the year at our Art Show. With the support of our PE program headed by Mr. Kaneko the PE also helps fund our Swim Program. Grades 3-5 take part in a twice a week swim program for 6-8 weeks in the Spring. Our 5th graders get a one week full of fun before their promotion in June that 2 of my 3 have the pleasure of enjoying. I can go on and on about the school....message me if you ever have any questions. I also work at this school is a special education assistant, because I love this school so much =)

We love the staff, all the activities organized throughout the year, and just how warm everyone is. Along with caring for the kids, the school makes efforts to also educate parents on how to work with our kids at home, support them and help them grow as individuals. These are free sessions on weekday evenings, and they provide free childcare and dinner as well. We've not seen this anywhere else! It shows how much they are committed to building a solid environment for the kids. We want to specially call out the director Ms. Kristin, who is the person behind everything and is the reason this school stands out in our opinion. She truly cares about the kids and is very engaged with the families. We saw this on week 1 when she called to check if our son was having a hard transition, when I mentioned to the teachers that he was emotional (which actually was for something unrelated to school). She's also made herself available for consultations on handling challenging situations at home with our older. We've taken her up on these a couple times and they were super helpful. She has the experience to provide strategies and tools to help navigate parenting in general. Just talking to her has proven to be beneficial to us and we love that she takes the time to help the school community. She's amazingly patient and calm as a person, and radiates that positive energy. Ms. Kristin is very well versed in Montessori principles and is a brilliant teacher. We've learnt so much from her! We very highly recommend Lifetime to anyone considering this school.
