Rude, rude and rude! The dispatcher was a total jerk to myself and my friend. She called for a cab to go to the party and told me how rude he was. I called to leave the party. Same. When I called him out on it he uttered "Jesus Christ!" Really? Get another job buddy. Not the drivers fault for sure. read more

I called a cab with my boyfriend on a Thursday night coming home from the Cascades Casino in Langley. The cab driver was very grumpy and did not seem to want to drive us. He refused to drop me and my boyfriend off at our house, he instead decided to drop us off down the street. We were very under the influence at the time (hence why we CALLED a cab to TAKE US HOME) and somehow were not able to make it to our place. My boyfriend ended up passed out on the side of the street and I nearly walked in front of a car and got taken by the police to the drunk tank. I understand that we should have been more responsible in the situation but the fact that we called a cab to take us to our home should have solved the issue of us wandering into public while it was definitely not safe to do so. read more

Sadly 0 stars is not an option. Called for 2 cabs was told 20 mins. 1 cab came no problems, second didn't come. Called was on hold for 32 mins. Talked to dispatcher was told I could only order 1 cab at a time. Total wait time for second cab = 1 hr 37 mins read more

Showed up 20+ minutes after they were supposed to, which made us almost late for a wedding. Very unhappy with the service. Wouldn't recommend. Didn't bother to freaking apologize for being late and considering I was new here he seemed to have taken a longer route cause he kept on going off the gps route which took longer. read more

Worst customer service i have ever had. i have a bad knee that doesn't let me walk for more than 20mins or short (which my home is 30mins from work). So i started having a taxi bring me home which the cost was $10 and i would tip them $5 Because ik it was a short ride and the driver deserves a bit more. Since to them i only pay $10 they begun scanning my calls and now even if they say a taxi is coming it never shows up and I'm forced to walk home or get a ride from a friend if I'm lucky. DONT USE THIS TAXI COMPANY. read more

Unfortunately 0 stars isn't an option. The dispatcher was the rudest most argumentative person I have ever encountered. Who would have thought booking a cab could be such an imposition for someone whose job involves exactly that!? Fortunately the driver was prompt and courteous, but the first point of contact with this company ensured I will go out of my way to take my business elsewhere in the future. read more

I pre-booked a handi-van last week with this company for 3 trips on July 31. I was a bit concerned as GVRD taxi companies in general, have a pretty unimpressive reputation & this was for a funeral so I wasn't willing to risk failure. We needed a 9am, 10:45am & a 3pm pick up in White Rock, Burnaby and then Surrey. I spoke to Dolores on two occasions & Tatum on one - both ladies were VERY pleasant, knowledgeable, straightforward, patient & accommodating, giving me honest info & advice about the challenges of taxi reliability in the mid to late afternoon pick up time (shift change & rush hour...). Tatum suggested a 15 minute adjustment for the afternoon pick up to accommodate potential cab-lateness, which was fine. I followed up the day before the rides, to be sure the pre-bookings had all been logged correctly (vehicle type and times) - I gave only the name & date & they read off exactly what was in their computer- all correct! As it turned out, the handi-cabs arrived 5 minutes early at EACH pick up time! No waiting or delays. The driver,(Salman) for the first two trips was outstanding! He was very positive, friendly & helpful & an excellent driver as per proper motoring rules AND passenger comfort. The second driver was just fine, too! Thank you Pacific for 3 "jobs well done"! read more

I told the driver I would pay for my son when he got to the house. The driver kicked him out in the cold and his cellphone was dead. When I called to complain they denied it ever happened. This is why we need Uber read more

Our car broke down in South Surrey on our way home from Portland on a long weekend. We had to cab it home to South Granville and called Pacific Cabs. The young driver was very polite and professional. He quoted $80-$90 and sure enough his meter rang up $85...so no surprises there! Considering what we were dealing with, I was just so pleased the taxi experience was a pleasant one! read more

I booked a taxi 2 days in advance, asking for a 6 person van online. They emailed me back right away said that they may send 2 small cabs if there will be no vans in the area. Angrily as I had emailed this IN ADVANCE, I told them to honour my advanced request of a 6 person cab, or else there is no point. They then emailed me to let me know that they cannot guarantee a large van and to make other arrangements if there will be no vans in the area. I did not cancel my request, I left it as is. And then what? No cabs, not a single one arrived at my door for the time I requested. I called other cab companies in the city and all of them said this is the only one that operates in my neighbourhood. Countdown to Uber, these cab companies should be realized that this is the opposite of customer service and loyalty. read more

I have never been so disrespected by a cab company in my life. The operator hung up on me.. TWICE. And wouldn't let me book a cab to meet my partner and I at a bus loop 20 min in advance until we got there, of which we had to wait 20 min in the cold wind for one to finally show up because the one that GOT there in 10 min refused to take us because he "would get fired for taking us when another one is on its way." Notified the driver of our experience with the operator and other driver when he arrived and informed him we wouldn't be tipping because of poor customer service. He then spewed off remarks to my partner about being an immigrant, not stupid, which neither of us EVER stated (my partner and his family are also immigrants), and continued to provide exceptionally POOR customer service. I highly recommend ANY other cab company. This company should be disbanded for the incredible lack of courtesy and service as a whole. read more

Rude dispatch .. They tell you it will be 10 to 15 be ready then after 30 minutes call them back and ask them how much longer it will be and they say I just called don't worry it's on way. And that it hasn't been that long. read more

1 star is too high. Horrible customer service by both driver and dispatcher. Will never use their company again.

Absolutely deplorable service! Cabs booked in advance to take people to and from a venue, one turned up on time, one was 1/2 an hour late and one was 45 minutes late going to the venue. One driver did not match the ID badge that was on display, (Is this not against the law ?) all 3 drivers were bad drivers, speeding, tailgating etc., the drivers had no idea how to get to the location. Dirty seats, I got gum on my dress from the seat, and if that wasn't bad enough, when we decided to call and check that they would be on time to bring the party of people back home, they said they weren't coming!!! I wanted to pay by credit card (all drivers got a tip, and a good tip) but the driver told me "no, cash", so I guess he was a bit mad, as I didn't have cash, and reluctantly got out his card reader, he was well pissed. Why take the booking in the first place? Never, ever will we use the cab firm again. There really is a need for Uber here! read more

Terrible experience with the driver. I got on his cab from Vancouver airport. Right from the beginning, he had problem with my luggage. I am a small Asian woman and he's a medium build Indian man, but he asked me to give him a hand with my suitcases. Should have taken it as a sign and go to the next taxi in line! However I made such a mistake by taking his taxi. It was a simple airport to be ferries ride and he made good money out of the trip. When we arrived, he asked me for tips before he got out of the car and helped me with the suitcases. Mistakes #2: he obviously thought I didn't tip him enough and mishandled my suitcases! He slammed the suitcases on the ground. Later inside the ferry terminal I found one of the wheels fell off because of his mishandling. didn't even put them on the sidewalk. He was so rude I felt like I should ask for my tips back! I have sent my complaint to the cab company twice with details, I.e. date, time, location and driver number, but the company never responded. Obviously, they didn't think customer feedback is worth their time. Avoid Pacific Cabs if you don't want to deal with rude unhelpful driver who thinks he's entitled to your tips. read more

The worst service ever, Please do not use this company. My 18 year old daughter called this company to pick her and a friend up from a together. The cab driver told her if she went to a hotel with him he would pay for everything and not charge for the taxi service. He proceed to tell the young ladies that he thought they should be horny and ask if anyone was home and who do they live with. I could go on and on. However I have notify the police and they are looking into this. Its a sad place when a young girl can not get a decent safe cab ride from point A to point B. Please please do not ever call this cab service. When I called the dispatch to report this, she was rude and seem like this was a normal every day complaint. B) a friend left the phone in one of there cabs and called right after she got out of the car and was told it was not there. C) always tell riders the debit machine is not working and try to charge extra for a ride to the bank. I am looking onto more horrible stories.... read more

I booked several short-hauI trips with this company while visiting South Surrey this past weekend to attend the Canadian Masters Track and Field Championships. I have to say that I was so impressed by the punctuality, friendliness and professionalism of the drivers. They were polite, helpful and made absolutely sure I was taken to the exact spot I needed to be. I was so impressed, I opted to cancel my plan to take an airport shuttle service back to YVR, even though the shuttle company (Links) had professed to offer the very best deal at "only $80.00". As it turned out, I made a good decision. The driver arrived to pick me up at the specified location a few minutes early, and it was a smooth and enjoyable ride in a brand new, spotlessly clean cab, driven by a helpful and gentlemanly driver who made sure I was well in time - and at exactly the right entrance - for my flight. He took out and carried my bags to the door. What service. Thank you, Pacific Cabs. You are the best. i will most certainly travel with you again. read more

We have often used Pacific cabs and have had the pleasure of being greeted by curtious and kind drivers. Unfortunately the last few tmes our experiences have not gone as well, we have understood that it can be busy but when we called for a cab this evening we got nothing but huffs and puffs as if we have interupted their pokemon search!!! when we asked for a cab they said " it's going to be a while as per usual on a saturday night in whiterock!!" (not in the most friendly tone) I have always thought that we should support our local businesses and have never thought i would back uber but it is clear that the growth in Whiterock has out grown the abilities and services of Pacific cabs. I will be supporting in furture other opportunties for transportation in whiterock even if it means supporting uber. Pacific cabs your dispatchers are the first contacts for your customers either they require more supports or training as you will lose opportunities for generating income if their interactions with customers are what we experienced. In the 45 minute walk we did not see one cab!!! thank you to those drivers who have made our experiences in the past quite pleasurable! read more
