Looking for a place to grab some munchies after a day at Six Flags - look no further! Only a few miles away (a small scenic drive) led us to the Pacific Brew Haus. I was eager to try this after referrals from family. Its got an old feel to it, as does the town, and you might miss it if you blink. We were seated immediately and our drink orders were taken. Only reason I'm not giving this a 5 star rating is because there's something up with the drinks. We both started with ice tea - it tasted very weird. We switched to Diet Coke - it took tasted weird. However the food made up for the drinks! You must get the pretzels as an appetizer - goodness! Hot pretzel with cheese on the inside and cheese to dip it in is a pretzel lover's paradise!! I then got the chicken wrap with fries and my husband got the chicken sandwich with fries. Needless to say we both left full and happy. Staff was friendly. We came in for lunch on Valentines Day and it was pretty busy. It took a bit to get seated because only two girls were working. One wasn't very friendly but the lady that was our waitress was amazing. I do not remember her name but know who she is by looks. She was working the dinner area while the other one was working the bar tables. She had great customer service and was so fun and the food was great. We will be back because of her. read more

The pacific brew Haus is amazing place to eat and relax or just party. This bar is located in downtown pacific mo. The food is excellent. I recommend the chicken wings. They are the best I have had in the St. Louis area. They have a full bar and they make some great cocktails. They have appetizers that are killer. There dinner menu is just as good. They have a huge patio so you can relax and smoke if you wish. They also have an upstairs where they can hold large parties. If your in the area you must stop by for some amazing food. Pacific Brew Haus has been hit or miss for me. I will say, their food makes the wait worth it. But the last couple of times I have went to dine in, the wait has been ridiculous. I understand they get busy, but by the time we showed up, everyone was getting their food or leaving, and we still waited an additional 45-50 minutes. And we only ordered appetizers! And they had to remake one of them because it got burnt. Since there is a full bar and many TVs to watch sports on, the place can get pretty noisy, so I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for a quiet date night, or if you're looking to have in full conversations with your dinner. Or maybe go earlier in the week, sometimes it isn't AS busy those days. They do offer take out, so I do enjoy that aspect of it. A lot of the time I will just choose to pick up my order instead of dining in. Their appetizers are definitely my favorite, The brew haus pretzel and their onion rings are really amazing! I stopped by on my way home and put my name down for a reservation (only an hour away). After returning with my family we're told, "we tried to hold your table, sorry". Even though we were pissed, we were still hungry so we waited since we were told it'll only be another 15 minutes. Well a half hour later we ask what the deal is and they say, "we're not sure how long the wait will be". Rather than asking for a manager just to hear how "sorry" they are, we just decided we'd leave and not come back to save ourselves the trouble of dealing with this again. Alison & Tasha are the best bartenders you'll find in any bars around, they try their best to keep the drinks flowing even when they are super packed. The food...one word, phenomenal. We've had almost everything on the menu, the only thing I wouldn't personally recommend is the cheesesteak sandwich, but only because the meat isn't as trimmed as I would like. Love the beer selection. Love the pizza! The food, in general, is pretty good. Everyone has their tastes and this place has good stuff and bad stuff for everyone's taste, as most places do. Historically, the service has been so bad that it was funny. Kinda like Ed Debevics in Pacific, Mo. I will say that it has gotten a bit better, but it totally depends on who you are saddled with when you sit down. I have had a few really excellent service experiences here. For awhile, it was like a badge of honor to say that you made it through a full service at this place. I rate a three because the beer selection is awesome and the pizza is too. We've lived in Pacific for several years, and were disappointed with the dining options available until we discovered the Brew Haus. We first tried them a few years ago after a local event & were pleasantly surprised. However, it wasn't until I saw an article in the local newspaper that they were introducing a burger made from locally sourced, all natural, grass fed beef. We tried them and have ordered carry-out at least once every month since. In addition to the above mentioned Crooked Creek Burgers (which are delicious!), we have yet to have anything from the Brew Haus that hasn't met our expectations. Other standouts are the homemade Pub Chips, the Cajun Shrimp Fettuccine, and anything that comes with the Monterrey Jack Cheese Sauce (Brew Haus Pretzel, Irish Nachos, etc.) The only thing we ever ordered that didn't suit us perfectly were the Fried Pickles, and that was ONLY because they use pickle spears instead of pickle chips. Since we live locally, we do mostly carry-out, but the restaurant is comfortable, and we plan on going by some night just to hang out with a beer & our neighbors. They also have a great patio for al fresco dining. The only other problem we ever have is deciding what to order. We have so many favorites that it would be easy to never try anything new, but every time we take that chance, we add a new favorite to the list! The pizza is good. Pizza is so hit or miss you never know, but this is the place to go in Pacific. The wings are really good too. With so many places having tiny wings, it's nice to go to a place with legitimate jumbo wings. They do have a full menu with plenty of options. Did I mention beer yet? We live in the next city over and between the 2 cities I think this is the best place to go for a nice dinner. Service was a little slow. Food had great flavor, but order a ribeye medium rare and it came out medium. First draft beer I ordered they were out of. Second choice was a pale ale, very good. We visited this great bar and grill for the first time last night! It was better than I expected. It's very nice and clean inside with lloys of TVS. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The pretzel appetizer was the best I have had! My husband and I ordered the steak special with loaded baked potatoes. Steak was cooked perfectly and the potato had all the good fixings on it. Very Disappointed..... this was our first time at this establishment. We just wanted something quick to eat and take it home. So we ordered their Parmesan chicken wings and their Hot Bourbon chicken wings and 2 sides of cole slaw. We also included Ranch Dressing for our wings. We got home, opened the containers and the Hot Bourbon chicken wings weren't hot (spicy hot) and their was no sauce on them. They were "naked" for the most part (no sauce). The wings only had a hint of flavor. I was disappointed and pissed off. The Ranch Dressing was inside with the wings, so when you took the top off the container the dressing was watered down and hot, like the chicken. I threw that dressing out. I added bbq sauce to them but I just didn't enjoy them. My aunt had the Parmesan wings. She said they were just ok. She was disappointed as well. We both threw the wings out. Oh, the cole slaw! It was down right awful!! It was dry. Very bland. No salt or pepper flavor at all. No juicyness to it at all. It too, was in the bag with the wings. The heat from the wings made the cole slaw very warm. I tried to doctor that up with no success. I threw that out too. Was it a bad night? Who knows? This was such a GREAT find! Every dish was delicious. Exactly what one would want in a brew Haus food. Although they didn't have their own beer, the bottles came out with ice on the outside they were so cold! Reuben bites were fried to perfection and just the right composition of ingredients.
