I have been here numerous times. The service has NOT been great in the past 6 months or more. We went tonight and it was worse than ever. No sign of ownership or management anywhere. Waitress and Bartender were not engaged with customers and would disappear for long periods of time. It took a very long time to receive food. This place needs to be supervised and managed properly daily. BH has so much potential to be great if staff is trained properly and consistently. read more

Chicken sandwich with Swiss cheese and bacon was good. The kitchen should have spent ten more seconds to build the sandwich. Really thrown together with no concern for the presentation. Chips were not fried long enough. Service was good considering how busy they were. Nice decor. read more

Food is pretty good, service was awful last time we went. We had a work happy hour for about 10 people, and at the time there was nobody dining at the restaurant. When we went to push a couple of tables together, we were quickly reprimanded for doing it, the waitress was beyond rude, and clearly out of line. We went to leave and someone from the back came out concerned about unhappy customers. Best way to handle this situation is to get rid of that waitress. She was awful. Pacific Brew Haus is not a brewery; it is a pub. It has food, beer, and a full bar, but it does not brew its own beers. With the name "brew haus," we thought it was going to be a brewery. We were wrong. That said, we had an adequate lunch at the Pacific Brew Haus. We arrived around 1:15 in the afternoon and had to wait to be seated as all the wait staff must have been busy. The bartender left the bar to guide us to a table. Then we waited a while for our waitress to approach us. Despite the slow start, we enjoyed the appetizer "Brew Bites," which are tasty, crunchy little fish nuggets that came with tartar sauce. The menu said "tomato tartar sauce," which turned out to mean there were a couple of dices of tomato in there, not enough to affect the taste of the tartar sauce. In any case, the Brew Bites were good, and we all loved 'em. The entrees were a little more hit and miss. The reuben sandwich garnered not one complaint, but the onion rings were breaded instead of battered. Several were left uneaten. The steak sandwich was a sad excuse for a steak sandwich -- the "steak" was small, tough, and overcooked, and there was no sauce on the sandwich at all -- no mayonnaise, no bachemel, no steak sauce. We had to ask for it, and then it didn't really improve the chewy meat. Fries were fine. The cobb salad was massive, and well, this is picky, but a cobb salad should be a chopped salad laid out in stripes. That's just... what Bob Cobb created in 1937 at the Brown Derby. I can't help it. On the other hand, I'm very happy that I get to choose a different salad dressing, so I should stop whining about the form the salad takes. This was a fine chef's salad with lots of tasty stuff and good bleu cheese dressing. Service was fine; the restaurant is a nice old building that's either lovingly restored or well kept-up. The Brew Haus always has good good! Thete were three in our party for a 1pm lunch on a Friday. We got seated within 10 minutes and had good service as the waitresses were busy. The fish special was delicious! read more

We come in at 7 on a Sunday and are seated. The waitress takes our order. We order the Sunday Fried Chicken special. She goes to the kitchen and comes back apologizing telling us that they only have one order of chicken left and the kitchen does not communicate very well. I said that was fine. I'd order something else and my husband could have the chicken special. I'm trying to look at the menu and she is standing there. I asked for time to look at the menu. Not even a minute later she is back. I rush and tell her my order. Two minutes later she comes back to the table and says that the kitchen really isn't communicating because they are actually out of the chicken. I have never given a poor review, but this was ridiculous. read more

The rueben bites for appetizer were yummy and enjoyable especially to have something different. The potato soup was really good too! The food is pretty decent. The service is almost always pretty terrible. Salads come out before appetizers. REALLY long waits for food. It takes a long time to get drinks. No one that works there seems to care all that much about quality service, but they also don't need to. The place is packed every weekend. So people go here regardless. I do like the food though. It's nothing phenomenal but pretty tasty. I always get the steak sandwich with cheese and mushrooms and it is almost always delicious. The fried pickles are really good. They are pickle spears which is great. The wings are decent. They could use a little more sauce though. I'd suggest getting extra sauce on the side. The truth is that the food is good, but not great enough to look past the looooong wait times for food (even on a slow week day) and drinks. read more

Very noisy. Was difficult to have any type of conversation. Salads came out quickly and were crisp and cold. Waited a very long time for our meals. Waitress kept telling us they were ready but we kept waiting. I ordered the chicken dish with the Jameson mushroom sauce on the side. Very small dried portion of chicken. The sauce was flavorful but did not detect. Any hint of Jameson. My boyfriend ordered the talapia. It was very bland. He was able to put my mushroom sauce on it and then it had some flavor. Maybe they should offer this on their menu. I don't think I would detour off the highway again for this restaurant. read more

Management needs to go to restraunt 101 class. Table of 8 could not be accomendated with two 4 top table on the patio.. Management states two 4 tops connot accommodate 8 people. We will not move two tables together was his statement and staff said they will survive without our business. Sad management decision . We said we will go to brown Jerry's because I know they will bend over backwards for a $200 worth of spending. We went to brown Jerry's which pulled two 4 tops together immediately and was a great place, customer service stepped up to the plate and excellent food and service. They pushed two four tops together without hesitation. Suggest going to brown Jerry's before ever going to brew haus. Management doesn't respect the customers that's paid there bills for a very long time. Very disappointed. Very disappointed to no end. read more

We went in well before the dinner rush, because we knew from past experiences that the service was slow. Well, slow isn't even the word, it was absolutely horrible! Our waitress had no other tables but us, and was too busy sitting in the backroom to check on us. We had to ask another server for refills. My husband and I decided to go here on a date and sadly it wasn't that great. The staff was friendly enough but the food took a ridiculous amount of time and was cold when we received it. In St Louis, Gray Summit area for a dog show. Found Pacific Brew Haus on yelp. Sat outside on a day with no service outside because we had a dog, Going in and out I went back and forth many times for food, drinks and condiments. Every time Allison the bartender and a couple of the other girls working saw me walk in, one of them asked me if I needed something. Every request was quickly served and both our food and drinks were great. We met some nice locals enjoying the patio and the experience as a whole was great until the rain came and ran us off. This is my second time staying in pacific and my second visit to PBH. This time I got a pizza and it was huge (and really good) -- it was delivered on a cookie baking sheet. The fried ravioli were really good and the hamburger was tender and cooked perfectly medium rare. I also got the potato soup, which was fabulous. read more

Was told to wait 20 minutes for a pick up, I sent my daughter in to pick up 25 minutes after ordering. She paid came back out and she said 10 more minutes, I understood. THEN 20 minutes later my daughter was still waiting for our food. If she wouldn't have already paid 55 minutes earlier I would have told them to keep it. I get running behind but how does 20 minutes turn into 1 hour and 10 minute wait AFTER dinner rush. Then absolutely no apology, no explanation and absolutely the worst customer service. Sorry the food is not worth that wait on a night with 20 people there. Then after receiving food the order was wrong, I no longer wanted to wait so we left with $50 worth of food we didn't want. This town needs a restaurant that cares about customers with decent food. read more

Very disappointed with my experience tonight. I came in around 8:30 for a beer flight, and left empty handed. The bartender, Paula I believe, "took care" of us. It took her 5 minutes to greet us. I asked for a flight, and my boyfriend asked for a water. She brought me back a blank paddle board and an expo marker, and told me to write the beers I wanted on it. If I wanted to do the work, I would have stayed home and drank the beer in my fridge. I wrote down my beers, maybe taking a minute. She did not come back. 20 minutes passed and we got up and left. Safe to say it will be a while until I return. :( read more
