With increased tolerance of the extraneous sounds, I was able to realize the benefit of better hearing. After a week I bought the aids and am wearing them for at least 12 hours daily. This was not the experience I had from four other providers. They set the hearing aids for comfort so the increased hearing was minimal and were consequently discarded because they were not aiding my hearing.
