It was a gradual (in three or more steps) to reach the ideal pick up for my hearing loss range allowed me to adjust to the increasingly louder environmental sounds that accompanies as the hearing pick up is increased. With increased tolerance of the extraneous sounds, I was able to realize the benefit of better hearing. After a week I bought the aids and am wearing them for at least 12 hours daily. This was not the experience I had from four other providers. They set the hearing aids for comfort so the increased hearing was minimal and were consequently discarded because they were not aiding my hearing.

My experience was at the Tigard location. I had been considering deviated septum surgery for a couple years as my sleep was becoming disturbed from it and my doctor recommended the surgery, then I heard about this place. I was excited about the possibility of not having to go under the knife and getting the same results. I wish I would have just done the surgery. This procedure did not improve my issue at all. The only thing that changed was now when I blow my nose I get a weird uncomfortable vibration feeling inside my nose. Also ended up having to pay almost 1500 out of pocket on top of my insurance which was not discussed in the beginning, just told over and over the insurance loves to cover this procedure and the costs to me should be minimal. The person I was talking to back and forth about what to expect did not seem to know much and couldn't answer half the questions I had. Just a really bad experience from start to finish, and I'm left with nothing but less cartilage in my nose and still the same breathing issues. If you are considering this or surgery, I would say don't waste the time/money like I did and just get the surgery.
