I deleted my first review on good faith that Vida was going fix this. This has carried on for months now. I'm updating my review nothing was done to fix this. First off I've been going to Vida for about 5 years. I've had fabulous results up until this year in March. I had went in then for my usual juvaderm ultra (Tara did the injections) and then Rstylane I've made several attempts to see what had went wrong with 2 consults back in there. 1st time I went back after my initial treatment I was told there was nothing they could do about it. 3rd time one of the estheticians looked at it. She said they would fix it and yes something didn't look right with juvaderm ultra. (Took pictures their lighting angle, oh I don't see anything wrong with it, odd my pictures I phone dated all do. Their lighting photo) She said, "Melt it all." Odd, she didn't even feel my face to see where filler was if there was any in my laugh lines or if there even was any. ( none felt right side minimal lil left) None on the right side. I still can see puffy marks needle marks without make up months later. As for the Restylane she told me, " No see, you have malasma, you should look it up and it's from the birth control you started. Odd I'd been on birth control months prior this low dose possible. ( she never contacted my Gynecologist prescribed it, so how would she know when it was started, blame shift) Those brown rings didn't develop till after the injection of Resteylene. Proceeds to tell me, " Yeah you should look that up". Turns out I don't have that and that's common occurrence with Restylane when not injected correctly. My end result looking worse before I came out. She offered fix the juvaderm laugh line area. She could melt what was there. Nothing to melt, or add to it. I was scheduled an appointment for a day she wasn't in. They called me to tell me she wasn't in that day. They would call back to reschedule I waited a week and half with no reschedule call. The restylane looks like this few months later. I have to cover my face with foundation to hide big round brown rings under my eyes I never had. To add to that my rip off on the Juvaderm that wasn't mixed right or she diluted the solution? I didn't receive that left me with deeper lines. What she use on that dissolvent? Worst of all look like I'm left with permanent brown ring marks under the eye area. Of course they said " nothing we can do about. From my first review they contacted me and looked at it. She didn't even test my face feel where filler was at. ( they take pictures in their lighting etc.) Trying say nothing wrong with it and that it was me. Why do all my before pictures( dated pictures on my I phone) look like afters? Argue, oh it was the angle. No, In short I paid to look worse not better! I paid for a product I didn't receive, correctly. Dilute solution or improper mixing solutions which is against Oregon Board of Health laws for Esthetics. How could you trust them to fix that. Lies. Never going back here again. I'm out the money I spent. Plus cost fix ( laser brown rings from restylane) and replace my juvaderm that they dissolved or just used saline. I have to go to another esthetician. The end result I look worse and am out the money I spent. I'm sharing this so others don't get ripped off. I've went here for years and trusted them. To be treated that way is an insult to my intelligence. I'll never go here again. Long story short I would never went in here if I would've known My face would've looked worse coming out. I paid to look worse. I had no results! Results don't very if you don't use your product right. I'm done communicating and attempting for months to fix this along with playing their games.

Moreover, they used an excessive amount of force when pressing the laser against my skin. At the time, I was ignorant of the process and did not know this was not how laser worked. I believe this was deliberate sexual assault. When I spoke about this to my plastic surgeon, he seemed to think that perhaps these people did not know how to use the laser. Paul has responded saying that I did not complain at the time. This is a deliberate falsehood. I complained that he used too much force, then I complained that his wife used too much force, and eventually I gave up and allowed neither one of them near my breasts so they could not harm me that way anymore. Paul has also said I was abrasive, directly contradicting his remark that there were no complaints. Finally, Paul claims that more than 6 rounds of laser should be necessary for full reduction -- however, the laser did not remove a single hair.

I was impressed by everything, especially the precision it took to do this treatment around my eyes so thoroughly. My right eye had been numbing for a while, so I couldn't feel much at all. Left eye wasn't numbed enough, so that kinda hurt, but still totally worth it. The results are so awesome! I can finally do my eye makeup like I used to!

I tried calling this office 2 weeks ago to confirm an appointment for our family. After 20 minutes of being on hold, I had to hang up to tend to the needs of our severely disabled, legally incapacitated daughter - also a patient of VALLEY VIEW DERMATOLOGY. My spouse tried calling VALLEY VIEW DERMATOLOGY this morning to confirm our family's appointment for tomorrow and was put on hold for a total of "1.5" HOURS over 3 attempts. During that time, no human, or recorded human, came on line to apologize for the wait, give an option to leave a message for a return phone call or anything. Totally frustrated, I decided to send an URGENT email to VALLEY VIEW'S "information" email address that I located on their website. In the subject line of my email, I put "Urgent." I knew this would get someone's attention, and it did. In the body of the email, I stated the details of what we were experiencing when trying to reach the scheduling desk. Within a few minutes, someone emailed me back - didn't bother calling - and asked if they could help me. The person stated in her email that VALLEY VIEW had a "firewall" issue with the phone system today. I immediately emailed back, asking: Did you also have a "firewall" issue 2 weeks ago when I called and was put on hold for 20 minutes and had to hang up to tend to the needs of my medically fragile, disabled daughter? Did you have a "firewall" issue occur 2 months ago when someone left a ONE STAR REVIEW on GOOGLE complaining about not getting anyone to answer the phone at VALLEY VIEW, stating that they were leaving VALLEY VIEW and going elsewhere? While I was sending my email response, someone finally answered the phone after 40 minutes of my hubby being on hold for his "3rd" attempt today to reach someone. My husband explained that he had been on hold forever, and desperately needed to confirm our family's appointment for tomorrow. The person told him that VALLEY VIEW did NOT have us down on the schedule for tomorrow...... We live in Boring and Dr. Swift's office is located in Salem, a one-and-a-half hour drive from our home! Had we just shown up for this appointment tomorrow, because we couldn't reach the office to confirm the appointment, we would have spent a total of 3 HOURS driving there and back for nothing. My spouse asked to speak to the Office Manager and was given her voicemail. He left her a message. A few minutes later, Robin, called me. I explained in no uncertain terms that it was inexcusable that we could not reach anyone to confirm our appointment for tomorrow over a 2 week period. Robin went on to say that their outdated phone system "is on the list" to be replaced this year. Robin said "it takes time to find the right system and not make a mistake, etc." She went on to say, that they replaced their outdated Medical Records System last year, and this year was the phone system.. I explained to Robin that we would NOT stop reporting this massive office failure to their headquarters and others. If VALLEY VIEW does not have a fully functional phone system in place today - and every day during business hours - then all patients should be sent an alert notification letter immediately with an alternative number to call when needing to conduct business. So, as my "first step" in forcing change at VALLEY VIEW DERMATOLOGY, I am going to share the email address as a way to get helped when you have been put on hold for more than 5 minutes: info@valleyviewdermatology.com. If no one responds to your email, call the Office Manager, Robin, at: 503.566.2069.

I'm honestly still processing what happened to me here. Let's just say Aimee Aplin seemed far more…read moreinterested in my body than actually doing her job. She looked up my dress while I was lying on the table. I had my legs crossed, hands in my lap, and everything. Oh, and the way she kept checking out my chest? Subtlety is clearly not her strong suit. As for the actual treatment, I got home and realized the lasers barely touched the shaded part of my tattoo (on my neck). I guess attention to detail is optional? She's a nurse, so you'd assume she knows what she's doing. But after she hit a nerve and I let her know I was in pain, stopping didn't seem to be a priority for her. When she pulled the needle out, my shoulder twitched in pain, and then she kept tapping the same area half a dozen more times, making my shoulder twitch over and over, as if she was checking to see if I'd do it again. On both of my visits, she "missed" the same spot with the lidocaine, and when I was obviously in pain, she just kept going, even though on the first session, she said she would stop and put in more lidocaine if that happened. She didn't bother to make that same offer the second time. I also had to ask her to put tape over the plastic wrap, which she didn't do the first time either. She basically said, oh, it's going to fall down and it's up to you to figure it out. Aimee, if you're unhappy, maybe try a spa day instead of taking it out on your patients, especially the ones paying your bills. Trans people, I can't say this enough: save your money. Honestly, women in general might want to think twice, since she went out of her way to share her insecurities about getting older. She acted out of jealousy toward me being young, so I'd bet I'm not the only one who got that special treatment.

Highly recommend this spot, and Kathleen in particular! Throughout the entire process on multiple…read morevisits Kathleen was so gentle, communicative, and thorough.
