I'm most certainly I am real, and disgusted. I made an appointment with this place to get permanent winged eyeliner. I sent in photos of what I was looking for, which was on their website, and photos of my eye. I was explained that the procedure could be done, and to go ahead and make the appointment which I did. Upon arriving, the woman taking care of me, I believe her name was Chris, appeared to have no clue what she was doing. It took her about a half an hour to finally draw the winged eyeliner correctly on my eye. But even with that, she still found a way to royally mess it up, and now I am permanently disfigured thanks to her. The owner, now she is a piece of work. At first, she was very apologetic, and explained that after this healed that it would be fixed. Now mind you, because of how bad this came out, Chris explained to me that I did not have to pay. This was more than just not liking the outcome, this looks absolutely nothing like what I have asked for. The owner was fine with this. Just a few days later when I asked for something, the owner got all defensive and started stating that I owed her money. Lol, there is not a chance in this world that I would pay for what you did to me, lady. Now, if she would've came out, respectfully and made an appointment with me to have this done the correct way and fixed, I would've been more than happy to pay for it. Unprofessional is not the word, ghetto is more like it. There are so many more places that would do an incredible job, and not be treated the way I was. One of her workers also put his hands on me which she likes to deny, but that's OK. Please do not make the unfortunate mistake that I did in going to this place. Because of the incompetence of her worker, which clearly was not trained properly, I now have to walk around, looking like a fool. First of all, I was greeted by a friendly and enthusiastic receptionist and then by Vanessa, who had me change into little booties before going into my room. The facility was bright, clean, modern, and beautiful. I felt like I was in a glamorous medical facility! LOL I was a little nervous to have my lips tattooed but Vanessa took her time to explain the procedure, map out my lips, make changes to my look at my request before tattooing, and Daly (the manager/owner) even came in to give me some advice on color choice and style. It was a great vibe, for lack of a better phrase. During the procedure, Vanessa talked me through what she was doing and checked on me periodically. Afterwards, she took her time to answer all my questions, walk me through aftercare, and snapped a few photos. She didn't rush me out and I felt like I was lounging in my own home - all of the women were friendly and made me feel comfortable, not just Vanessa, although I can rave about her all day! Her patience, care, and sweet bedside manner really made me feel comfortable and confident in my decision to get cosmetic tattooing. However, over the years this location has missed a step or two. Items are (seemingly) not restocked as often, shelves could be more organized (it's not a mess, but sometimes you need an extra few moments to find what you need because it may not be where you expect). Also, almost every time I have gone in the past year there is a person outside asking for money. He is not aggressive, but I find it odd that a store would allow someone to become such a permanent fixture without trying to help him out somehow. The one thing I will say for this location is that the staff is always outstanding. This is only one of two Walgreens I have ever been to where employees have actually come up to ME to ask if I needed help. It happens so seldom my brain sort of freezes when it does because it's such an unusual experience! This is not my "go to" Walgreens, but in a pinch this location will do.

Walgreens is a pretty standard experience for anyone. I have wandered by this Walgreens many times but never stepped foot in it until yesterday. Overall, this Walgreens is very well maintained. It was clean and the shelves were well stocked and organized. Kudos to the cashier in the makeup department who made it a point t call over customers when she saw the line at the main cashier was getting a bit long. I liked seeing the teamwork between the two (and it made the lines go much faster). There's ample parking in the lot in front of the store and there are a few places to eat nearby including a Wendy's and Don Alex. I'd say Walgreens is best for very specific items (such as Distilled Water, $2 for 2!) but not so much for others (some of the toys are way overpriced). Warning: this Walgreens is not 24 hours like some of the others in the area had has more "normal" business hours.
