    Pork belly chicharrones
    Anastasia C.

The food was great. Probably one the best meals I had in London. The tuna tartare was the weak point being a little difficult to eat. Too big to be one bite but to delicate to cut. The pork belly was tender and the perfect mix of sweet and savory but I didn't love the garnish bits and wish I had know to ask for it without. The really star was the sich an fried chicken. Nice and crunchy and well seasoned the Smokey-spicy sauce complemented it perfectly.

Went for an early dinner on a Friday night after happy hour nearby and was glad to book a table so easily. Nice relaxed atmosphere and good service, but I'd say the food and drinks were just okay. I enjoyed the fried brussel sprouts the most out of everything we ordered!

Crispy lamb belly - I ate some before taking this picture. It smelled so GOOD!! Tasted even better.

I love Peruvian food, so I was happy to see this place next to my hotel. I'll tell you a bit about the few later, but the first thing I really want to say is the hospitality here is freaking fantastic!! If I lived here, I would come back because they truly care about their customer. I had a conversation with a few different members of their staff, and it felt like a community. That to me makes me feel extremely welcomed, and it didn't feel fake at all. The people working here are happy to be working together and it shows! Ok, for the food... I started with the sea bass ceviche karma and it was fantastic! Super fresh and had this kick to it was amazing period then I had the plantain dish, it comes with olives on top. Plantains are always delicious, but I love them in a savoury dish. And following that, I had the crispy lamb belly. Cool to get some belly that wasn't pork. And fantastic! Check out my picture.

While it may be a bit on the pricey side, the experience is undeniably worth every penny, especially if you're looking for a night of shared dishes, attentive service, and great atmosphere. the mood is perfect for an intimate dinner or a celebration with friends, as it was when i came here for my birthday! the guac was prepared on the table, and had a great freshness to it, but was not worth the money imo bc it tasted pretty ordinary to me. same for the antichuchos de pollo - they were so small and tasted like regular skewers to me - they had a nice smoky flavor, but nothing that couldn't be achieved at home easily. i liked the trio de maiz, which had many different types of maiz, and was presented beautifully! the dish was very fresh and almost nutty. also liked their take on patatas bravas, which was perfectly crispy and with a delicious creamy sauce. love love loved the tiradito de pez limon, which had the most melt in your mouth yellowtail crudo/sashimi. it was paired with an amazing slightly spicy green chili sauce, and overall flavors were phenomenal. the orange tobiko wasn't there though... the salmon was one of the best things i had that night - perfectly cooked and tender, melty and delicious! amazing flavor pairings, scrumptious overall! dessert was one of the highlights of the meal as well. the churros were citrusy and fried to perfection, and paired with a great sauce. my personal favorite was the passionfruit mango pavlova thing, which had such a bright tartness! everything was served on what looked like homemade pottery, so lovely! the price point seemed a little irrational for what we received, but everything was delicious, and the overall experience was amazing! highly recommend if you're feeling a bit posh or just want to treat yourself!

They proceeded to charge me £100 for the pleasure of making a reservation with them. Even though I was reaching out to them 3 hours early to let them know I can't make it. We ate at a great restaurant and enjoyed it thoroughly. I guess there is no reason to try Coya.

Walking into the spot, it's a classy and exotic restaurant that features Peruvian style cuisine, and the experience was exemplary. Seated immediately, we were taken care of very efficiently, provided with menus to take a look at and decide what we want, and we decided to try a variety of things. We got all of the items listed below, and they were all incredibly good. Delicious flavor on each and every one of them. My buddy even said the Hummus was the best hummus he's ever had in his life, hands down, and we are from New York and live in Los Angeles so bravo. The corn fritters were delicious as well, the cocktail was brilliantly made, the eggplant and quinoa was delicious and super filling, Feta and Sauce was a nice touch. This spot is a TOTAL 5 star restaurant, and we cleared through the place for a total of 65 pounds. Very do-able for such a classy joint.

We didn't think we would have enough time to dine here during our culinary focused action packed trip. But it was conveniently around the corner from the Ham Yard hotel where we stayed and we strolled in late on a Saturday night after a long day of touring. They greeted us warmly and sat us upstairs promptly even though we didn't have a reservation and it was late and quite packed. The owner made some cocktail recommendations and I settled on the pisco sour and my husband had a spicy drink, I think it was the karay. Both were delicious. For the record, I am not typically a cocktail girl as they're often cloyingly sweet and not well balanced, but these drinks were spot on. We started with all three ceviches...the artichoke vegetarian one and the tuna and sea bass versions. The artichoke dish was very interesting and a bit surprising but tasty nonetheless. The sea bass was delish and the tuna kind of what you'd expect, but solid as well if not overly inspired. I had a salmon entree and hubby had the grilled octopus, both were very good. We really wanted to try the "Andean mess" for dessert..we saw several pass on by to the neighboring table but we were quite full. I would definitely try upon return. In summary, the service and high quality fresh ingredients really make this place a great dining destination. The entrees are not quite as inspired as I would have expected which is why I didn't award the fourth star. But all in all, this Peruvian establishment has service that really cares and food that works well. I would definitely come back or try one of their other establishments.
