I was looking for an All-mountain board that would better suit my riding style for the upcoming season and I always enjoy going to Easy Rider. The staff here are always friendly and were very helpful in helping me select a board that fit my needs. You can tell these guys ride and really know their stuff!! They had an impressive selection of gear for the upcoming season but also a good carryover from last season on sale for 40% off. I wound up going with a Burton Deep Thinker from last season, and at 40% off, I was thrilled. Easy Rider has a huge selection of snowboards, boots and bindings as well as a good selection of outer wear. They also carry some pretty specific boards for carving and backcountry that you don't see in your average shop. They also have skateboards, longboards and stand up paddle boards to cover your summer sports. This is my go-to local shop for anything skate or snowboard related!

I was on the phone most of the time trying to communicate between my boyfriend who was in Calgary and myself while I was discussing the difference between the Union Atlas and Burton Genesis he helped us select the one that would work best for the type of ridin we'd be doing. Honestly he wasn't pushy and you didn't feel pressured this is exactly the type of service you want!!! If I have anymore boarding needs I'll definitely be coming here !!! Thanks David.

Went to the store to pick them up and the rude/arrogant manager said i'll have to wait for it to be shipped from Calgary?! I had my order number and email confirmation of sale and the staff there, who was literally holding the item I purchased, said I have to wait until it is shipped from Calgary. Are you serious buddy? I know you are your biggest fan but shake your head! Do not purchase anything from The Source if there is any other way to get it.

There was a disagreement between myself and my son regarding which board I was willing to put money out for, and the salesperson was obviously uncomfortable but politely indicated that he would be in another area while we fought it out. Once we moved onto the helmet section, he popped back over to see if we needed any help. I felt the service was pretty good, definitely friendly and the prices were slightly below the other over priced snowboard shops in town. I appreciated that it was brightly lit and a lot of space (I hate dark cramped stores!) I will definitely be checking them out next time we need to purchase more snowboarding equipment as they have it all. I was quickly looking at their jackets (I'm a mom who doesn't snowboard, so if they have a different name, you know what I mean) and they seemed reasonably priced compared to other snowboard companies.

A hidden sports store. I only seen the signs and heard this place by word of mouth. The place sells…read morecamping gear, clothes, and equipment like sportschek but has more outdoor equipment than sports gear. The atmosphere to me has this cabin color vibes which feels nice. I was surprised they sell the car attachment tent structures because I've been looking at these online. It's good to see them in person to see if it's actually the fit you'd like to use. Lots of staff nearby to help which is great. Parking here is very small for a large shop. However, I'm not sure many people are aware of this store. This would definitely be a store I'd come to if I couldn't find gear and equipment near my retail stores. Recommended for anyone looking to get camping, hiking, or outdoor gear.

Prices are high, like all other outdoor stores in Edmonton (seriously, what is with that?) but the service cannot be beat. Don't get me wrong. I also like M.E.C. & Cabela's but the attention to detail and customer assistance at Campers Billage cannot be beat! Whether you're looking for some base layer clothing or the perfect cast iron pan/griddle, you will find it here! I really like their children's section for winter wear & mitts (though my heart belongs to Cabela's for their waterproof Muck boots). This is also my family's go to store for great quality waterproof sandals. The hubs & I just picked up a pair each of Keen'a covered toe sandals for our trips this summer. Dave (in shoes) couldn't have been more helpful or knowledgeable. If you've ever show shopped at Nordstrom's in the states, Dave is that quality of a salesperson. See you soon Camper's Village (well, as soon as my wallet lets me).
