Came in here right after visiting a haunted house with a large party of 7, and had a fantastic experience. It was pretty late, but the owner stayed opened for us and even let just hang out and talk with our friends - he was in no rush to shoo us away. Food was great - I loved the steaks and the cheesy rice, and the Brazilian snacks and empanadas were so good. We honestly had so much food left over at ate it for dinner and lunch the next day. They also had a few Brazillian soft drinks that my kids loved. Kids got to enjoy the little mini pacman machine we ate and talked, so overall it was a great night. My experience with Brazilian food is pretty limited (I've only been to one chain Brazilian steakhouse years ago), so I was excited to learn that PAC was opening a brick and mortar restaurant in addition to their food truck. My friend and I stopped in for dinner recently and I really enjoyed the food. The menu includes steak platters, empanadas and coxinha, burgers, flatbreads, and a few desserts. This is definitely not a place for vegans, and I only saw a few menu items for vegetarians. Lots of meat! Our server was friendly and helpful with explaining the menu. I ordered the picanha platter and the Brazilian sausage flatbread, and we also shared some coxinha (fried croquettes stuffed with chicken or cheese). The portions were large and I had a lot of leftovers. I loved the steak - it was super flavorful, juicy, and tender, and cooked to a nice medium. The fries were good, nothing super special but still tasty. The flatbread was really delicious, with lots of sausage and onions. I'd definitely order both of those items again. I am looking forward to my next visit! I would say it's a good spot for a group since they have a spacious dining room and big portions. read more

Had an awesome lunch date here with the husband. There are not many places that run lunch specials anymore. Having had their food truck at Horrocks before, we immediately went for the Picanha lunch special, which came with fries and rice for $14.99. The steak was super tender and juicy, and the portions were perfect! We also got the chicken empanadas and they were heavenly. I often feel like the breading for empanadas can be too crispy and crunchy. That wasn't the case here. The breading was soft and reminded me of the bottom of a crab rangoon. The empanadas were stuffed full of shredded chicken and they were super moist. We didn't opt for the Brazilian cheese bread this time, but those were a hit with both us and our kids the last time we got them from their food truck. I didn't know quite what to expect coming in, as I've never had Brazilian food before. Pac has pretty casual vibes, and it wasn't very busy when we went (a weekday evening). Our server was VERY friendly and attentive, and helped us navigate the menu quite a bit. We started with a Brazilian soda, which tasted like a Monster energy drink IMO. We also got the picana platter (steak and fries). The meat was VERY juicy and tender, and the fries were like a marriage between McDonalds and Steak 'n shake fries (almost as thin as shoelace, but also crispy and delicious). I discovered a new place, opened two months ago, to try out. Pac Brazilian Restaurant, on 44th Street. The owner, Markos, is starting small and building up to include more options. It is situated in a small strip mall, and can be hard to find. Parking is not a problem. Going in, the feel is open, bright, and clean. It is spacious, with room to grow as the company expands. They have large group offerings, a special Brazilian Barbecue, with 2 sides for 60 bucks. They have smaller options for 59 and 22 dollars. Flatbreads are their 2nd main option. 10 choices are on the menu. They have anything from pepperoni to premium toppings from Franbacon to Shrimp. If you like sampling something new, go for it. Now they have your basic pub-like food, burgers, appetizers, wings, soda drinks, coffee, and tempting desserts. Brazilian Acai is a healthier choice. I will be back as they develop their menu and space. Now it has more of a coffee shop feel. It is worth checking out. The owner was friendly and the service was excellent. read more

I'm only writing this because I hope the owner can recognize a few things and make it work. I went in on a Saturday night at 7 PM and I could not believe that there was not one customer in this place and that was my first red flag. They were dirty dishes on some of the tables that we're not cleared which was a huge turn off considering they were not busy and the owner was sitting with his wife and child in the corner . Not not a big deal as I understand how family businesses can be a challenging . His wife, I believe does a cooking and it was decent, but thought it was a very limited menu and the price did not reflect the food. I see mentions of a food truck business so maybe that's a better lane for them because I think they may have bit off more than they can chew on this brick and mortar location read more

Wow, excellent!! The guy at the food truck was friendly, and his food was amazing. I had the Brazilian steak and fríes. The steak was done perfectly and seasoned perfectly as well. He uses really great potatoes for his fríes, cooks them correctly and again, seasons them correctly. Best fríes I've had since getting them in Europe. I'm a ketchup freak and ketchup would have only taken away from the fríes. Kudos!! read more

I have been to PAC Brazilian Restaurant three or four times now. As someone with family in Brazil, I wanted to support this business and recommend it to others. Unfortunately, in my experience, each visit has been disappointing. Most of the time I have ordered the prato feito (Portuguese for "set meal"), which in Brazil almost always includes rice, beans, and the meat of your choice. Here, the prato feito costs $14, yet in my opinion, the portions of rice and stroganoff have been very small, far less than what you would expect for the price. Rice and beans are inexpensive staples, yet it feels as though they are served as if every grain is being counted. On one visit I mentioned to the owner, Mauricio, that my plate had no beans and very little rice or stroganoff. In my recollection, his response was that if I did not like it, I could go somewhere else. That told me everything I needed to know about how they view customers. I have also heard from others that the picanha is underwhelming, and based on my own visit, I would agree, it was mediocre at best. The service, in my view, has been average, and every time I have eaten here, the restaurant has been nearly empty. Sadly, I can understand why. I had hoped to see a fellow Brazilian succeed, but in my opinion, based on the food quality, portion sizes, and attitude, I will not return and cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. I will be waiting for the Brazilian steakhouse opening at Woodland Mall instead. read more
