I know of this place because of my dad, who heavily and positively vouched for Pablo and his establishment. The parking is decent for a mini, independently owned smog and auto repair business.... so of course, it's not all extreme glitz and glamour..... but all of that doesn't take away from the kick ass customer service and "make yourself at home"-like customer service. The guy has couches, a random water fall sculpture and a bird to keep you company while you wait for your vehicle to be serviced!!! Haha!!! It's all so damn random, but very much a cool alternative experience to other businesses like this! Pablo and Anna have this really cool attitude and positive vibe every time we come for service. It's very Carson with a twang of Wilmington because it's basically in the middle of the two cities and has been serving up that time of hospitality for 17 years at this location. You can pretty much trust Pablo because he's been doing this hustle with grade A, 5-star service since 1977!!!!!! How's that for legit experience?????? Pablo's is a homely, simple, go-to, get out and go business that also has its own damn Pokémon Go gym that players can take over, fight and get stuff from!!! I had to pass smog test to get my tags. I don't drive this car much. He explained to me I would have to drive 100-200 miles (freeway) and return. Both times I went I was able to drive in - little wait time. Price was reasonable. Mission accomplished! read more

This place is great! I smog all my vehicles here every year. This guy really knows his business and the service is fast. This year we had a problem with our truck and didn't know what to do. He detected the problem and gave us his recommendation. Once we made the changes and drove our car a distance, it passed. I highly recommend this place and I won't go anywhere else. I went to get a smog check and he charged me $60 and all he did was the OBD machine to check the codes. I had one code pop up so it didn't pass. He didnt do anything but that and charged $60 plus an additional $39 if i come back once its fixed. The guy scams. read more

Do NOT come here. I went a few days ago alone and the guy charged me $70 dollars for a supposed smog test. Not only did he not even do it but all he did was do that computer thing that's they do for free at an auto-zone! He took advantage that I literally don't know shit about cars. This guy plugged in my car and saw it's not ready to test because oxygen censor and instead of telling me , he still did smog check just to tell me it's not ready and charged me $60. I went to other smog stations after and they told me he shouldn't have done test and he doesn't even offer free re test . They check your car for free to see if it's ready read more
