We loved the small town feel of this restaurant. Our server was wonderful - the drinks were perfectly made - and the grouper was cooked to perfection. It's off the beaten path - but those are my favorite spots.

The Ceviche was fantastic, and I don't think I've seen my girlfriend drink a drink faster than she did her passion fruit margarita.

Sitting outside facing the Atlantic Ocean with the cool ocean breeze was such a beautiful and peaceful experience. The views alone made the stop worthwhile, but I was pleased with the entire experience. The service was great from start to finish. For appetizers, I ordered the Chicharrones de Pollo, which were flavorful and crispy. I also tried one of the mozzarella sticks, but it didn't have that satisfying cheese pull I was hoping for. My man ordered the shrimp mofongo and really enjoyed it, while my brother-in-law was very happy with his snapper fish. For my entree, I chose the Mofongo Relleno de Pollo, a mashed plantain mofongo topped with chicken, and it was delicious. The portion was decent and packed with flavor. For dessert I tried the guava flan. While the flavor was nice, the texture was a bit too tough for my liking. Overall, the food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the oceanfront views were absolutely amazing. If you're passing by the area, Playa Brava is definitely worth stopping by for a meal and a chance to enjoy the scenery.

I ordered the seafood mofongo and the ceviche. The ceviche was its own meal. It was alot. No complaints from me. It was fresh delicious and i can almost taste it writing this review. service was great. The tostones the ceviche came with were crispy hot and garlicky! The seafood mofongo was super good. All fresh seafood in a garlic sauce that complimented the mofongo lovely. I tried some chicharron de pollo as well. Crispy hot and savory. Yes I would love to come back here and try more food and recommend anyone in the area to do the same!

The lobster risotto was flavorful and the serloin with dirty rice was mouth watering. I can't say enough good things about the food and the atmosphere at this restaurant. Thank you so much for the incredible experience. Counting down the days until we eat here again.

I never imagined I'd be writing a review like this, but people deserve to know what happened…read more Our family visited La Terraza in Dorado expecting a relaxing meal. Instead, one of the employees--described as a shorter, heavy-set man with a beard working at the front--physically grabbed my 14-year-old nephew by the arm because he apparently thought he was someone else. Let that sink in. An adult employee put his hands on a child before even figuring out who he was. Rather than politely asking a question or apologizing for a case of mistaken identity, his first reaction was to grab a minor. There is absolutely no excuse for that. You don't put your hands on someone else's child. Ever. My nephew was simply there with his family trying to enjoy dinner. No parent should have to worry about an employee assaulting their child because of some mistaken assumption. I am following up with the Dorado Police regarding this incident because I believe it crossed a line that should never be crossed. If management values its reputation, it should review its surveillance footage, identify the employee involved, and take immediate corrective action. Customers deserve to know they can dine here without being subjected to physical confrontations. Until this is addressed, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone--especially families with children. There are too many great restaurants in Puerto Rico to risk having an employee mistake your child for someone else and decide that grabbing them is an acceptable way to handle it. I hope management takes this seriously, because if this happened to my family, it could happen to yours.
