In my 11 years in PA, I have found one tech who excels at her craft. Veronica is the best at what she does, and what she does is acrylics and gels. The ultimate example of her work occurred 6 years ago when I went into labor early and was forced to miss my appointment. A full 6 weeks after my last backfill, I had extensive growth, but ZERO breakage or lifting. She has been my go-to nail tech since "discovering" her work at a women's forum in Harrisburg in 2005. Her boss at the time was speaking and I honed in on her nails! After the presentation, I cornered her and asked her who the tech was that did such great work. And so, I found Veronica. Wonderful work, compliments galore, you won't be disappointed. -8 year customer

New to the area and this location is convenient in Shippensburg. Walked in for a mani/pedi and was…read moretaken to a chair right away. I got the deluxe pedi ($40) +$5 for regular polish on the toes. The pedi was amazing in terms of the massage and treatment. The paint wasn't that great (not a great sign when the paint goes all over your skin and it's cleaned off with the brush and acetone). The mani... I asked for regular polish multiple times during the visit because they were trying to get me to get tips/builder gel/etc. I just wanted a mani/pedi for 10 days before I get a fresh set for a vacation/trip; I joked but was serious I'd come back in 10 days if I liked it. When my nail tech put on the base coat and had the UV light going, I wasn't sure if it was a new technique. Then she proceeded to put on what I learned was a coat of builder gel and then used gel polish. I didn't want gel but was like, hey, at least I don't have to wait for my nails to dry. She did ask how I was liking it and after the first coat of color, I asked if she could paint closer to the edges, since the paint was really noticeably not near the edges of my nails on either side. When she finished, I really couldn't rave about it even when she asked. The gel/clear coat is on my skin; edges still are sparse. I can't believe it cost $40 for a gel mani here (since it's close to that price in cities like DC or SF) and then the quality wasn't great even though I appreciated she took her time. The care and service was great but really don't love the paint job, which is kinda the point. I don't think I'll come back unless I was in a bind to get my nails done.

I went back and forth between splurging on it or just doing it myself, but I can confidently say it was worth EVERY penny to get it done by these lovely ladies!! Lexi did my hair and makeup trial, then my makeup the day of the wedding. Ashayna and Christin were also part of my bridal dream team and they absolutely killed it. My sisters, mom, and I were all over the moon with how our hairstyles and makeup turned out. This is a lot coming from someone who doesn't normally wear makeup and didn't want to look super caked up on my big day. The salon is adorable and we bought a bunch of products for our hair, purses, and hair clips while we were in for our services. I'd literally trust Lexi with my life - she is AMAZING at what she does.

Upon walking in, i was greeted immediately and was given a new client envelope filled with coupons to use in the future. That was awesome! I saw Erica. I had already seen her work on IG and she is AMAZING!!! I was scheduled for a blowout, but when she saw my hair (which another stylist at another high end salon) had don't to my hair, she asked me if I wanted her to shape it up. She knew immediately what the other stylist had done. I have thin hair, and Erica brought it back to life with a little of her magic. Not only does my hair look fuller, but it now has shape to it. She is very knowledgeable and makes you feel so at ease. I'm going back Friday for color and I'm so excited!! I would definitely recommend Erica. Went in and got a manicure & pedicure from Mia. I showed her a picture of what I would like and she was absolutely wonderful. She has AMAZING talent. She didn't use any stencils to draw the nail art on, she did it freehand. She is a perfectionist and made sure my nails were cleaned up with no hangnails or skin around my nail beds. My pedicure was just as BEAUTIFUL. She also is a wonderful person to talk to and you can tell she loves what she does. Since getting these done, I had numerous people stop me and tell me how beautiful my nails and pedicure look. I can't wait to see her again!!!
