I recently moved to PA from Portland Oregon where it seems that Yelp is more often relied upon to find businesses. Since most places here seem only to have a few reviews each, I thought I would make it a personal project to review each place I try to help fellow travelers in their searches. It pains me to leave a negative review when the people here were so nice, but the service they offered was not good and WAY over-priced. The paint job was sloppy, as you can probably tell from the photos. The gel polish was all over my skin to the point that I had the cut it away at the corners of my fingernails, and it was both laid on thick and see-through thin in places. He was a little over-exuberant with the cuticle cutting and made a few of my fingernails bleed. Now, a few days later, my cuticles are full of fresh hangnails. Like I said, the gentleman that did it was very sweet. He was a bit older, so I wonder if maybe his eyesight was failing him and that contributed to the overall messiness? The "massage" (which is usually my favorite part) was just a minute of him smearing watered down lotion on my hands and feet. The massage chairs were just okay, like they had seen better days and were struggling now to do the job. Lame. Regardless of all that, I know that because of Covid, times are tough now for everyone and we are all struggling to pay our bills. I'm lucky enough to still have a job and so I feel like it's my duty to spread the money around and leave a decent tip, no matter what the service quality. The service: a gel-polish mani/pedi The cost: $70! (Plus a $20 tip so, $90!!) The take away: keep looking for a better place in Chambersburg if you are looking for a detailed oriented nail technician or a decent massage. If you are just looking for some quiet time to yourself with nice people, this could be your spot. read more

WORST NAIL SALON EVER!! The water drawn up for me to put my feet in was scalding hot, when I asked for some cold water, he asked if I "was happy now." My daughter got her nails painted before the first day of Kindergarten and the man was rude and mean to her. Got up to leave and wanted to charge us for her nails, which I didn't mind paying for, but also wanted to charge me for a pedicure, when I only had my feet in how water. They actually called the police when I refused to pay full price for a service I didn't receive, needless to say they didn't get what they wanted. STAY AWAY!! read more

I went to get a gel mani and pedi last week on Thursday and as Andy was doing my gel pedicure I watched him and after he was done he was going to do my gel manicure right so after he got done with my feet I noticed my right toe was not cleaned up around the edges and it looked like a 3 year old had done my toes so as I was doing my nails and after he was done with that he also made the mistake of not cleaning up around the edges around my nails it was sloppy so I told him about my toes hey Andy can you fix up my toe nails I just noticed the polish was all over the outside of my toe nails around edges and you know what he told me he told me he tried to clean it up and it wouldn't come off and I was like are you serious??? Soo he told me it would come off when I shower I mean if it comes off when I shower don't you think that it could come off also when I'm paying $78 for my nails and toe nails to be done then when I got home my mom and ex fiancé didn't like how he did my nails and toe nails they can see how he didn't clean up around edges and how sloppy of a job he did.. my mom said I would call there to bitch and complain for the amount of money you paid and I said okay your right so I called Andy and I told him look Andy I don't like my nails and toes you didn't clean up very good around the edges and I was very veryyyyy UPSET he tried to tell me why didn't you tell me that when you were here and I told him ummm I tried tooo tell you but you told me you couldn't take it off which is a load of crap... I also told him I would write a bad review on him and tell everyone not to go to you anymore and I was so angry and disappointed so he said okay okay come back tomorrow at 7:30 I will re do it for you..so I ended up getting sick and told him I couldn't make it and come another day he said noo nooo I can't do that you told me today and I said well I'm sick I can't make it there today so he decided to get the way he did with me so I said okay your the worst business ever and I'm NEVER coming there again and hung up.
