I am not sure if this location will stay in business much longer. We went on a Tuesday night - Taco Tuesday - and were the only people there. In fact, I think our waitress was also doubling as cook and bartender. She appeared to be alone and did at least do a good job given the circumstances. The tacos here are really good. I had one with pork belly and grilled shrimp, another with brisket, and one with shrimp. They had lots of stuff filled in them and great sauces, but even with the 3 taco combo deal they were $6 each. The little side dish of dry rice didn't really count for much in my opinion. And they charge for chips and salsa! Here's the bigger problem besides being empty on the busiest night for most places that sell tacos - this location literally shares a parking lot with a much larger Mexican restaurant called Pedro's. And you know what? Pedro's gives you chips and salsa for free. They have a much larger menu and better prices on literally everything. PS Taco would probably do better in a more open location where their competition isn't right next door. I liked what we had, but it was way overpriced and the value and atmosphere just wasn't there. read more

I ordered the Skinny Taco and the Chicken Taco, and also tried the street corn along with chips and salsa. The salsa was sweet and tasted similar to beans. My partner had the carne asada tacos they said was a little dry in their opinion. Everything tasted pretty bland overall, nothing particularly special flavor-wise. The service, however, was great! The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere felt upbeat with a small bar inside, which gave it a fun vibe. Prices were reasonable, around $13 per plate, and the cleanliness was average. This was a great yelp find! It's a small chain but i had never heard of this place so feels more local than chain. It is a small place so wouldn't be great for large groups but there were plenty of space for our family or 6. The service was fast! Now let's get to food: the kids meals were excellent- amazing value !! Probably one of the best kids meals i have encountered lately- for the side of the kids meal, you can get either chips and queso or chips and salsa which my kids loved. It also comes with a drink. We got the 2 kid tacos for $8 and the steak quesadilla for $6! We were able to feed all 4 kids with that because of the size. The quesadilla was a good size too. My husband and i both got the 3 taco combo with rice- Our least favorite was the carne asada- that one needs some sort of sauce on it. Our favorite was the Belly of the Beast. Then next up was the black jack- that one was good too! I would easily get both of those again and then try another taco instead of the carne asada. It seems like the specialty tacos are the way to go! My husband i will say doesn't usually like taco places and he was a fan of this place! A definite win!! Wish we lived closer to one! read more

Just tried this place out for lunch. First thing I noticed when I walked in was the smell of fish, which was somewhat unexpected and not very pleasant. I ordered the mucho burrito with brisket. The young lady gave me chips and salsa while I was waiting, which I think usually comes with a charge. The salsa was odd. Not terrible...just odd. The burrito arrived and it was covered with a sauce that was pretty flavorless but quite gummy. The corn also had very little flavor. The brisket was difficult to find but I did find a big piece of fat. The cost for the burrito was $15 plus tax, for total of $16.05. Overall, it was very disappointing lunch. read more

Got there at 6:50pm. Website says they closed at 9pm. We walked in and went to go sit down and were told to keep standing and not sit yet. She left for about 7min and came back with her coworker. They sat there and stared at us like they were mad as we ordered. We asked if we could sit outside because they made it very awkward. When the food was brought out, they brought it in to go containers even tho we wanted to dine in. They also came outside and made us put our drinks in to go cups so they could just go ahead and do the dishes. Definitely we're trying to rush us out. Food flavor was great however corn was cold, like refrigerator cold with two warm spots. The shrimp taco had two tiny pieces of shrimp so mainly it was a cabbage taco. Tacos are a bit on the small side and they sure like their onions the tacos we're swimming in them. I wasn't impressed with the food (taste) and felt for what you paid it was little on the high side. I've had better at a drive up window from a brand name taco restaurant. The wait staff was friendly and got my order correct which was nice. My husband and I came here for the first time to grab something to eat before our movie. When we walked in, the lady asked us if we wanted dine in or take out, but since we had no idea they were closing early, we decided dine in. Immediately, she went and asked the kitchen if they had shut down the grill yet, and the cook came out and kind of stood at the doorway just staring at us before we sat down. We ended up asking to sit outside, and our food was brought out in to go boxes. They also brought us to go cups (after i told them i didnt need them) and said "they want us out of here by 7 so i brought you guys some to go cups" which made us feel rushed. We felt awkward, uncomfortable, and unwelcomed. If they were closing early, then 1. the times should be updated on their website and 2. they could have given us a heads up, we would have been happy to go somewhere else and not intrude. We wouldn't have asked to dine in, we would have at least taken our food to go. They weren't straight up rude, but obviously agitated we came in. The next 3 customers that tried to walk in after us they wouldn't let them be served before 7. And while we were still sitting outside eating our food, they went ahead and closed up shop and left. As someone who works in a restaurant, this is pretty ridiculous. If you close early on sundays, JUST SAY THAT!!!!
