This is the why the 4 star review. Now, the dietary restricted feedback. If you are celiac I do not recommend at all! Ashlyn was great with my GF restrictions, she even engaged the manager to ensure we touched on all of the "land mines" which unfortunately are numerous. Again the 4 stars are for the way the team addressed the restrictions and accommodated our restriction. The negative: Because we had 3 sep tickets our food came out at different times than our companions. I may be old but I come from a time that the table is served at the same time. The young man who "ran our food" only addressed the dietary adjustments at the end of presenting the food. As a restricted eater, I want to hear this is a GF fried rice not fried rice ....gluten free. It's simple but I want to hear it before you put in front of me. I don't want to have to confirm the runner didn't just gluten me. The runner also lead with "we were out of the gluten free sauce" which made my brain immediately say "what did they substitute because I didn't agree to that". These are things a restaurant should take into aspect as they navigate a dietary restricted table. It makes me not only want to go back but also spread the word that restricted eaters are safe. Food: We had dinner for 2 offered as a special. - Soup was solid, my Hot and Sour and Wonton for the wife - Lettuce wraps brought out for an adjacent table, which said they were not done with their soups were turned away. So the waiter looked at us and said you guys have them: here you go. Um, ok. In either case the lettuce was laughably small, no way you can make a "Wrap" out of it. We thought maybe it's ours that was impacted. Nope, looking around everyone got the same sized unusable leaves. Which was amusing to see, as everyone had the same reaction. It's one of their signature items, so sad when they screw it up. Also didn't help that the chicken was cold. - Mongolian Beef - barely edible, chewy oversauced. - Salmon - Wife said it was ok, nothing special, but a bit undercooked. Desert? Well we wanted the banana spring rolls, but they were out. Out at 7pm? Ended up with options we didn't care for, but got the buttercake(?) with ice cream, which turned out ok. Service: Lacking. Table next to us complained about the food and the service. Mgr came over, apologized and I think gave them some gift cards. We figured why pile on, so we just let it slide. We usually make it to PF Chang's about once a year, and every time we go we're reminded how consistently good everything is. It always leaves us saying we really need to come here more often. We started with the veggie lettuce wraps and opted for iceberg instead of romaine because we love the extra crunch. They were so good that my son thought they were chicken and happily ate them up. We also ordered the side of chili garlic green beans as an appetizer, which were a great choice with lots of flavor. For entrées, we shared the honey shrimp with a side of brown rice and the sesame chicken with noodles. Both dishes were excellent and full of flavor. My son ordered the orange chicken from the kids' menu. He liked the chicken itself but wasn't a big fan of the orange sauce, mentioning that he prefers the lighter, less thick sauce from Trader Joe's orange chicken. For drinks, my daughter ordered the peach boba breeze and really enjoyed it. She was even able to get free refills, which surprised me since it's a specialty drink and not just a soda. We have been going to this restaurant since it opened, as our go to for Chinese food locally. Last two times we were there we noticed smaller portions for main dish and large salad. I think we have been sucked into the trick of keeping prices flat, but reduce portions. I requested a refill on our rice, but never showed. We will be moving on, use to feel it was a great value. Love that PF Changs added affordable lunch options to which there are many items to choose from. Also love the points program If I were to tighten anything up it would be the to go orders. This is the 2nd time. First time my order was missing an item. This time I ordered a bowl of won ton soup. I order it at the restaurant as well as by cup so I know how many won tons to expect in the cup and bowl. What I received was a cups worth. Took a break from Black Friday shopping and stopped in for dinner. Didn't have very high expectations as I haven't eaten here for a while and the last time I did it was just OK. Food was very good this time but the star of the night was our server. Eliana was fantastic! Hands down some of the best service we have had in a very long time. From the second we sat down, she greeted us warmly and immediately took our drink order, even though the entire party was there yet. She was busy with a lot of tables but that didn't matter. She was all over our table, answering all our questions, making recommendations and refilling our drinks. It has been a couple of years since I was last here. Great dining experience for a weekend lunch gathering of four. Appetizers included Northern-Style Spare Ribs, Chang's Lettuce Wraps, and Crab Wontons. All were very tasty. For entrees we had Beef and Broccoli, Mongolian Beef, Crispy Honey Shrimp, and Salt & Pepper Shrimp. All served with fried rice. The food was exceptional. Been there twice in the last month, and the latest menu is a complete let down. The place is also not as busy as it used to be. Food quality is not as good anymore Not sure if they are making it blander to attract whatever crowd they have lost. Service has gone downhill.. had to ask for glasses four times before our waitress decided to bestow some glasses upon us. Even though the place was practically empty. How disappointing that one of my favorite restaurants and my favorite location has fallen so far from what it used to be. The restaurant was barely half full for a Saturday evening and after the horrific service my party received I understand why. What was so bizarre was I made a reservation for a large party weeks in advance and confirmed twice, but when I showed up, they appeared surprised and they were unable to locate the reservation. I pulled up my phone to show them the confirmation text I had received. The service was horrible and the server kept disappearing, for long periods of time. We confirmed with them that it was a birthday celebration twice and pulled the server aside to remind them of that, yet they still forgot to acknowledge the birthday. Food was still good, but the overall experience was so very, very disappointing, so sad. Time to find a new restaurant to enjoy, that will be difficult there are so many options. read more

He was rude, he slammed things down on our table such as plates and drinks. He reached across us to serve others at our table without excusing himself. He never smiled. He didn't thank us. We came to celebrate with family our nephew's birthday. Apparently they keep their air conditioning set to less than 70 degrees (we stepped outside from time to time to 'warm up' in the 75 degree evening). We immediately asked for them to fix the AC upon being seated, but alas our entire table of eight had teeth chattering by the end of the meal. We came here one year prior and had a similar experience... my wife and I forgot, but my brother in law remembered and brought extra jackets for his entire family. The Kung Pao Chicken we ordered 'spicy' came out mild and dry with next to no sauce and next to no vegetables. Two people at our table had to wait 10 minutes for their entrees as the rest of the table had already been served (one of them was the birthday boy) . We all had gifts in hand as we were seated, and saw other tables receive fun birthday sparklers, but we received no such service (even after singing Happy Birthday). Stopped in here for some quick grub and some really yummy lettuce wraps and a great salad. My partner got a tofu dish that was absolutely delicious. Everything came out great except for the chicken that was on my salad. Incredibly dry and rubbery. I'd say 90% of our meal was delicious. Our server was incredibly quick and diligent.
