On the positive side, the restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere, attentive service, and a polished dining experience that makes it an easy choice for a casual night out. The staff was friendly and professional, and the restaurant itself was clean and inviting. We ordered the eggplant appetizer, peanut salad, kung pao chicken, and the wonton soup. The food is competently prepared, albeit far from authentic. As someone who enjoys traditional Asian cuisine, I found the flavors to be heavily adapted for a broader American audience. But they tasted as if they were made with a lot of care. Overall, I can appreciate P.F. Chang's for its consistency, atmosphere, and customer service. read more

Updating review for 2 reasons. 1) they did away with the "dinner for 2" about 2 months ago. Sad! 2) added Brussel sprouts. I love Brussels sprouts and don't consider myself too picky when it comes to them but these - I would not order again. They were halves vs slices which is fine but the flavor was on top and not married into the sprouts and they were not done enough IMO. Service and food otherwise was good as usual. Still 4 stars from me. read more

P.F. Chang's - Chang's spicy chicken and some Brussel sprouts. - Asian Fusion Near Me - Greensboro, North Carolina

My wife and I recently went for a nice dinner. We'd been given a gift card some time ago, and just never found the time to visit. We arrive around 6pm on a Tuesday night, the hostess greeted us and sat us quickly. The interior is a very relaxed feel The waiter came by shortly after to tell us about specials, see if we had any questions, and take drink orders. We ended up ordering a half order of the lettuce wraps and half order crab wontons to start. They came out quickly. Shortly after our entrees, of orange chicken and sesame beef came out as well. Everything tasted great, meat portions were fair, I think they could give a little more rice, which comes with each entree Staff was attentive throughout our visit, pricing a bit on the high side for what it is, but it was a tasty meal, all in all, we enjoyed our visit and would return. read more

Tried P.F. Chang's for the first time in my life, and honestly was not impressed. Prices? High. Food? Mediocre; bland. Portions? Small. At $60 for 2 people, while already making cuts such as ordering off the dinner specials menu, drinking water, and getting the 1/2 sized app instead of full, I expect the food to at least taste phenomenal. It, however, tasted like almost nothing at all. My Mongolian beef was extremely bland, even once I added chili oil (which, for the record, was also not spicy at all, except maybe for someone under 5 years old.). The lo mein with it also tasted like almost nothing, and was a denser, chewier noodle than I've had as "lo mein" before. Very reminiscent of an al dente spaghetti tossed *lightly* in soy sauce, yet undersalted. I deeply regretted upcharging to get each of these items. Lettuce wraps were delicious, and if I came back, I'd get these as my meal. However, they are extremely expensive to just be chicken and lettuce. Our server was great, no complaints there. Restaurant was also clean and nicely decorated. But none of that means anything when the food is bad. I would have much rather gotten takeout Chinese food, from basically anywhere (as the vast majority will consistently nail the flavors), and eaten it at home. read more

We lucked out on picking our night out-they happened to be having a Heroes deal that covered buy 1, get 1 entree for service industry workers. It was a nice surprise, but it did not seem well advertised. A waitress leaving happened to mention it, but there was no mention inside or signage that showed it. Anyway, it turned out to be a great deal and we both enjoyed our dishes, we also tried the pick 2 smaller size apps-wontons and lettuce wraps. Both tasty! The waiter was very helpful all night, the reservation had us seated promptly and the dining room was clean and quiet, overall a nice night out! read more

First time going to this restaurant and the atmosphere was nice. Was seated right away as it was slow. The server was awesome, he told us about the drinks and what were refilled and not. I was excited about the food but when it came out I was a little disappointed. The Mongolian beef had more green onions than protein and the brown rice was extremely crunchy. Rule of thumb...soak the brown rice for 30 mins before cooking. We called our server over and surprisingly he already knew what was wrong before we told him and many customers have complain and nothing has been adjusted. For the high price customers suggestions should be heard and adjustments made. If it wasn't for the server this place would definitely get 2 stars. read more

I used to really enjoy coming to PF Chang's but recently the service has fallen off significantly. The restaurant is also dirty. I had a reservation for 6 pm, we were early and we were seated 15 mins later. Dinner was not served for approx. an hour and 15 mins later. This is much too long to wait for a dinner that was lackluster at best. It is a shame as this restaurant used to be well run and enjoyable to visit. read more

P.F. Chang's - Dirty floor. Should not be allowed to be like this! - Asian Fusion Near Me - Greensboro, North Carolina

P.F. Chang's is good enough. If you're looking for overpriced Asian style food that is under flavored, this is your spot. I was craving lo mein and sesame chicken while in the area and wanted a sit-down spot so I stopped in. I ordered the dinner special with sesame chicken, lo mein, and an egg roll. I also added a half order of the lettuce wraps. The lettuce wraps were to die for. Absolutely delicious! The pork roll was cooked well, crispy on the outside and filled nicely on the inside. The sesame chicken and lo mein were severely under seasoned, which wasn't what I was prepared for. I wish I had gone for take-out instead. The service was great and I liked how intimate the setting was. read more

P. F. Chang's is a solid restaurant that my kid refers to as the "golden horse place". We don't come here often, due to distance, but we do love the food. We came for the chicken lettuce wraps. Simple as that. Yes, we ate more than just lettuce wraps, but that is the main reason why we came. Everyone at our table enjoys them, even both littles. We ordered a full order of lettuce wraps, which allowed everyone to have at least two. We also ordered the Mongolian beef, white rice, and lo mein noodles. It was very tasty and was enough for our family of four. Our server was very attentive, and kept our glasses filled. We arrived for an early dinner, and close to the end of our meal it began to rain so hard it was raining sideways. Our server didn't try to rush us out, and even continued to check on us as we remained at the table after we'd paid. There wasn't a crowd of people waiting, so it was nice to not feel rushed to leave into the monsoon outside. We did visit the restroom while we were here (littles gotta go), and it is to the left of the kitchen door down the hallway. The restroom was clean and smelled pleasant. We will return here again for another lunch or dinner, and we will definitely get the lettuce wraps. read more

We did had to wait about 25 minutes, the place was nice. Didn't like that I could only go through the revolving door, wish there was a regular door. Had a gift card to try it out from Christmas. The drink was good, but oh my the food was not it for my taste. I had the kung pao chicken with fried rice.. it was a no for me! To be honest I won't be back, there's so many other authentic Asian food around to try. And mind you before the gift card it was almost 70 dollars! Crazy! But our server was super nice, all the staff was but still doesn't make up for the lack of taste. read more

There were a limited number of late-night places that were open for a quick takeout, so I decided to try PF Chang's. I had the chicken with broccoli and chili garlic green beans. One of the best chain style restaurants out there. Food tastes fresh and atmosphere is great. Our waitstaff Dillion was awesome, attentive and patient. We had the broccoli beef, honey shrimp, teriyaki chicken and soup. HIGHLY recommend the wonton soup and the teriyaki chicken!! Both were amazing. The others were really good too. My only complaint was the lo mein and the fried rice. Not great but everything else more than made up for it!! read more

I highly do not recommend this place. Just start off we sat down. I watched our server go to the tables around us never touched our table. Never even greeted us after 15 minutes of sitting at the table. I finally went to the front. Advised them of the server has not touched our table and has walked past us multiple times this service started out much better once they moved us. We started off with the crab wontons as soon as they sent them down on the table you can smell the burnt oil. I ordered the Mongolian beef was very bland. When I let the server know about the crab wontons, he stated I don't think we can take those off because it's part of the special he didn't bring a manager over. He never went to a manager and a manager never touched our table.. I understand there's That experiences and restaurants. This one I felt was not handled correctly and I will not be returning. read more

Don't bother. We walked in, it was empty and were told to wait 10 minutes for a table. On the way to be seated the floors were filthy and trash left on empty tables. We decided to give P.F. Chang's another try after past experiences that were not great. Since we were on a bit of a time limit, we sat at the bar to be seated more quickly. The bartender was friendly and checked on us often. We ordered the appetizer ribs, egg rolls, noodles, fried rice, and orange chicken using the $19.99 feast menu. Yesterday, I decided to revisit a childhood favorite of mine -- P.F. Chang's. The food, service, and ambiance were acceptable. The prices, however, were not. It's puzzling how P.F. manages to charge steakhouse prices for what is essentially mid-tier Chinese-American fare. If not for the large portions and the lettuce wraps, I would probably give them two stars instead of three. I'm afraid I won't be coming back. You're better off ordering from a local Chinese-American joint -- you'll get better prices and better food. read more

This was my first time going to P.f. chang's. While it was busy because it was Valentine's day, I was still underwhelmed. I thought it was going to be exquisite chinese food, but it just seemed like something I could get at a chinese restaurant that's normally beside a Food Lion. I ordered a soup but that didn't come until right when my food did. My server was great even though there were a few times I waited for her to return or update me. Mother's Day at P.F. Chang's was a disaster. We had a 4:00 PM reservation and still had no food by 5:00 PM. The restaurant was clearly overbooked and completely unprepared for the crowd. They even ran out of drinking glasses and started serving drinks in paper cups. What made it worse was the response from staff, basically saying the situation was "out of their control." Reservations are supposed to mean something. If you can't handle the volume, stop booking tables. Definitely not the experience you expect on Mother's Day. read more

I'm not sure why I haven't reviewed this PF Changs prior to today. I'm also sorry I forgot to take a photo of my scrumptious meal. Anyway, I always seem to be more than satisfied when eating at Changs and maybe I remembered to review this time because I received outstanding service from Devyn. She was super polite and professional. I actually felt special while having my meal. Even if the meal was average (which it wasn't..it was great). I would have throughly enjoyed my lunch. Since it was Valentine's Day, my wife and I received 2 coupons for future appetizers and we receive a free appetizer with our meal. P.F. Chang's is undoubtedly one of my favorite upscale restaurants in Greensboro. It absolutely never disappoints. The staff is consistently attentive, and the food always comes out quickly and incredibly fresh. This time, we visited during happy hour and enjoyed delicious eight-dollar cocktails. My favorite menu item is a tough choice between the chicken lettuce wraps with their divine sauce and the Mongolian beef, which is so tender and full of flavor. The ambience of the restaurant is exceptional, with its dim lighting that creates a relaxing yet sophisticated atmosphere. I will forever be a ride-or-die fan of P.F. Chang's. We have been to 4 or 5 Chang's in 3 different states now, and this one ranks 4 or 5 in comparison. The place was clean, lively and had a fun atmosphere overall. Service was also on par, attentive and friendly. The food and drinks are where it all fell apart unfortunately. From an Americanized Chinese food place with upscale hints, you typically know what to expect, and those expectations have been met in the past, albeit pricy. At this location those expectations weren't even close. The Japanese Old Fashioned could have been so great. The whisky itself seemed good, luxardo cherry is always a plus, but the abundance of bitters overpowered everything. Instead of a dash of bitters to go along with the whisky, it seemed like a dash of whisky to accompany the bitters. The food, where to begin. Calamari was significantly overcooked. It was as if you were chewing a stiff rubber band. Their signature lettuce wrap appetizer didn't have enough chicken in it. Still tasty, but not what we're used to at other locations. BBQ pork spare ribs were also overcooked and a bit tough. What really gets you is the expectation that this would be "smoked tableside" as described on the menu (see pic). Nope, that didn't happen. When spending over $80 for a few appetizers, a soda and one cocktail, you definitely expect more. If you want to go to a restaurant to hang out with friends or family but not order any food or drink, this is your place! Otherwise save a trip and your money, you won't miss this one. read more

Love the new weekday lunch menu! Smaller portions at smaller prices, with sides ranging from soup or salad to Lo mein or fried rice. We tried sesame chicken, orange chicken, orange shrimp (sub shrimp for chicken) and teriyaki chicken. All of them were very satisfying! The broccoli in two dishes was large stalks barely cooked. I prefer mine a little more cooked and would make that request moving forward. Hot and sour soup is one option and it's SO good. Lo mein is a $2 upcharge and is plain noodles, not the dish described on the main menu with mushrooms and Asian vegetables. This was not made clear on the menu and I think it should be. So a few concerns kept it from being five stars, but I love the new menu and we will be going back frequently. read more

Decided to give this place a try - it's been a while and don't think I'd come back. I did see they are offering new items like the Korean Fried Chicken. Mmmm... sounds like a great idea for a small lunch. I sat at the bar since I'm eating alone today for a quick lunch. I decided I would get aside and soup, since I'm having a large dinner early tonight. I asked the bartender about the new item on the menu. He showed me the menu where there is Korean fried chicken bone-in and boneless. The three-piece bone in is $21.29 while the boneless for one person is $19.29. I said not having that! That price is ridiculous for 3 pieces of chicken!!!! To double down on the disappointment, they have also discontinued their spring rolls! They changed the sauce that used to come with them AND...this breaks my heart.... The crispy noodles are no longer fresh, they taste like they came from a bag I am trying the egg rolls with my hot and sour soup. And that is going to be my lunch today. I included pictures of the updated menu for those who like to come here. (4 stars for the bartender bearing with all my disappointments and bringing me everything I asked for.m & the hot and yummy hot & sour soup) read more

Haven't eaten at PF Changs in a couple of years, so I decided to give it a try again. Surprisingly, it was very good. I took a chance with their mixed vegetables in a white sauce minus the tofu. Wow! The vegetables were cooked to perfection with a nice crispness. It was a great mix of broccoli, carrots, onions, green beans, and a sprinkle of corn. I am so glad I asked for extra sauce as it was lacking a little bit. That combined with the brown rice really made a great and filling meal. One meal really is three, so be prepared to share or have leftovers. The only thing that was missing was some shrimp or scallops! It would've made the meal pop even more. Loved too that I asked for extra broccol, and there was no charge--another wow! Great job, PF Changs! read more

They worked it out somehow I was not the person working it out with the staff but they did. I got the chefs feast special. It is advertised as $20 for parties of two or more since there were 13 of us I thought that meant a party of two or more, but it meant if you were on the same bill with two people it would be $20.
