I came here with my little one to get crickets for a little toad we found in our yard a few weeks…read moreago. My wife asked me to get 120 crickets, which seemed like overkill. To my surprise, 120 is just enough to feed a toad for 2 weeks. Here, the small crickets are $0.09 each if you get over 60, we walked out spending just under $12. Not bad. Regarding the staff, only positivity and smiles coming from these employees. We were there close to closing time so we saw some cleaning and closing tasks being taken care of professionally. They have some lizards, snakes, amphibians, birds, gerbils, and fish, and plenty of food and accessories that you need for your pets. I'll be back for more crickets in 2 weeks... and I'm thinking about getting the boa constrictor they have in stock!

I work during the day so getting her to a pet place is usually only possible on the weekends. I visited on a Saturday which was great. Also, the PetCo in Dundee doesn't take walk-in's for nail trimming/buffing - the Algonquin location does. This will be our new PetCo home store because a walk-in nail trim service means no more listening to dog nails click on the floor while I wait for an appointment. I definitely recommend this location.

I moved from a high rise in the City of Chicago, out here to "the country". one thing I missed in…read morethe city were various types of birds. I wanted a bird feeder, but wasn't sure what type of setup I needed, so I contacted a local birder who recommended Flying Friends. Eric at Flying Friends recommended a setup and various types of feeds. He assured me that the birds would show up and told me what species to expect. Sure enough, after a week or so, I started getting visitors. We have had lots of house sparrows, house finches, black capped chickadees, red-breasted nuthatches, and an occasional woodpecker. I'm glad I went to Flying Friends. Eric is very knowledgeable and helpful. If I had not gone there, it would have been hit or miss.

I woukd give 0 stars if it was an option. Ive been coming to petsmart woth my 14 year old shih tzu…read morefor a couple years. They have done a good job with him. My Schedule didnt allow for his usual groomer, so i tried someone else. Big mistake. My poor 14 y.o. baby is covered in razorburn and cuts/sores from the groomer. She shouldn't be allowed to groom dogs. My dog is so uncomfortable, he cant sleep. His face is beat red, almost bleeding and so sore, when i picked him up, his foot was bleeding. I was told it should stop on its own. He has a cut on his back paw, a cut/sore on his hip, one on his butt, by both eyes. His fur is all uneven everywhere. I wish i could post pictures of what this so called groomer did to my baby. I'm in tears looking at him. I would like a refund and if he isn't feeling better, i will take him to the vet and will be asking for vet bills to be paid also.

Their products are top-shelf but you get what you pay for…read more Over the past twenty years, I remember various companies like Purina having to recall their cat food because it was contaminated with non-edible material that caused the pets to die because their kidneys shut down. You are NOT going to have a problem like that with Thomas Tails. They actually research their products and it shows. There is a couple we pass on our street when walking the pets and my wife mentioned the Stella and Chewys food to them because they said their dog was having problems with sore joints. They tried it and when I saw him the other day he looked like a new dog! His head was up and he actually looked happier. I don't know what they were feeding him but the RAW diet makes a big difference. I don't want to sound like an infomercial but its true.
