The ambience of the restaurant made us feel as though we were in a small Italian village absolutely a very cozy atmosphere. Our pizza dough was freshly prepared and was dotted with generous amounts of freshly prepared, Italian sausage, pepperonis , and copious amounts of fresh vegetables. I highly recommend asking for the spinach to be sautéed before being placed upon the Pizza. After we received our meal, we were invited to the media room where we were treated to Live streaming Serie A Italian soccer. Inter Milan was playing Lazio. We felt as though we were actually in the stadium thanks to the state of the art acoustics of the room. We will be back soon!

For our last day in Round Top, we stopped in at the Stone Cellar for a quick bite to eat. The venue…read moreis actually split into two places, the Stone Cellar and Jon Perez Lounge. The Stone Cellar is to the left and from there you can just order the food from the counter, whereas the lounge you will get table service. Given that this place also hosts live music, trying it out during the day when there wasn't a band (or crowds) made for an enjoyable lunch outing. I would say the menu has pub/bar fare and given that we were both craving pizza and a hamburger, we decided to order one of each to split. The staff also mentioned the Fried Gouda Bites are popular, so we opted for those as well. Let's start with the latter - the Fried Gouda bites were amazing, everything you could expect from freshly deep-fried cheese, decadent and tasty, these are a must order. For the burger, we ordered The Standard, and as the name suggests, their standard burger (I call these "diner-style") and my brother and I both agreed - this is damn near the perfect burger and the best one I've had in quite some time. It was just the perfect amalgamation meat, condiments, and sauce, with a delicious bun holding it all in together. Finally, the margarita pesto pizza was also great - crispy thin crust and just the right amount of cheese and sauce. So, don't overlook the Stone Cellar as a place to go see some live music, it has some amazingly delicious food as well. We will be back next year.

Greeted with a smile and took our order, paid and got a number to take to our table. I had the fish taco special and it was cooked perfectly. We also had the cowgirl junky thin pizza which hit the spot. Each of us got the lavender ranch water which was refreshing and flavorful. Can't wait to explore more and maybe hear some music this weekend.

This is the slowest MOD pizza I've ever been too. Well, this location is in Brenham, Texas…read more Restaurant choices aren't exactly plentiful in these parts so anyone in the area should give this place some love. Wife and I left central Texas and headed east for a Thursday wedding. Looked for bites close to our hotel; swung in for food ahead of our check in time. Simple order at the counter process; make it your way! First, the staff (all 2 of them) produced the most glorious Caesar Salad. Tossed at our request it could have been served at the fanciest steakhouse in Texas. Might consider a pepper grinder behind the counter. Both of our pizzas were delicious. My modified Dominic kept the Alfredo Sauce, chopped Basil, Asiago, Sausage, and Red Onion. Added Roasted Garlic and Mushrooms and got rid of the Tomato slices. MOD is quick and basically blows away just about any national pizza chain in quality and product. Skip the HUT and Dominos and go here instead. Lunch was about $30 for two individual pies, salad, and drink. Well done folks!

Found a really cute spot tucked away in Round Top…read more You walk in through this green courtyard with fire pits and chairs and it kind of forces you to slow down for a second before going inside which I actually loved. Just felt calm right away. Inside is super open with really tall ceilings. There's a small bar upstairs they call a speakeasy... it's not really hidden since you can see it from downstairs, but it's still a nice little vibe. Drinks were really good too. They stay pretty busy, but service didn't miss a beat. Food came out looking good and actually tasted just as good. Always a win. Only thing is when it gets packed, it does get pretty loud, especially upstairs at the bar. So just something to keep in mind depending on the vibe you're going for. And honestly, the fire pits outside were probably my favorite part. Perfect spot to sit and hang out for a bit. If you're in Round Top, it's definitely worth checking out.

A wide selection of options, sure to meet the needs of any group. While there, we saw a large multi-generational family, a bachelorette group, several couples and some girlfriends all enjoying food and drinks. The building itself is beautiful, with high lofted ceilings, suspended glass lamps, an interior design scheme in the upstairs bar definitely worth sharing on social media. Since we arrived in the late afternoon, we opted to sit upstairs at the bar, overlooking the main dining room, for a few cocktails. I was a fairly hungry, not having had lunch and also ordered the grain bowl. This dish was good but not quite what I was expecting. I would consider it to be more of a salad, largely comprised of arugula tossed in quinoa, than a hearty grain bowl. For drinks, we got a couple of espresso martinis ($18) and these were excellent. Hand-shaken, not overly sweet, and beautifully garnished with an anise seed. Overall, Boon & Co was a great stop. I would definitely return and recommend to someone visiting Round Top for the day!
