Oy Vey. As I recall we were at Jose's on a Thursday night and they had a pretty fun karaoke. I can tell you there were mostly younger folks but a couple that were almost our age. I believe we had trouble finding their signage in the dark and parked in a little area in the back. A bit spooky but ended up safe in the long run. The bartender was really cool and fast like the wind. Not sure what we talked about, but was definitely good folks. No food that I remember; if there was, we didn't order any. I think someone brought in a small pizza. So, you can do that. It's definitely a drive, but a solid comfortable one with a pretty good view of the lake, but it was dark out.

My wife got the Warden's Special burger with fries & I had the Chicken Philly Sandwich with onion rings. Rings were better than the fries. Of course we couldn't pass up the bucket of beer special for$10! For a little low volume corner bar it was not bad! There were at least 7 other people there sitting at the bar having a beer. It appeared to be a full service bar but the clientele were definitely beer drinkers! The food service was relatively quick. This is a place I would definitely go for lunch with a coworker or even for drinks with a buddy. Is this a date night? Maybe not ... but glad we went!

We spend alot of money at this establishment on food, drinks and played a lot of keno there. Have had many large gatherings there in the past with friends and family. I rarely ever complain but the way they handled my complaint was ridiculous!!! We will NOT be going there again. First of all we had a terrible server. Who was not friendly or responsive to my complaint. I ordered a long island icetea. I honestly thought they made a mistake and brought me a lemonade so I asked another server if they thought it was a long island. He said he wasnt sure because it was so light colored it looked like lemonade. Said they would make a new one and take the first one of the bill. They brought the new drink which looked and tasted the same as the first one. I drank it though because our server never returned to check on us. So, they brought the bill and charged me for the drink which the server said would not be charged. I asked the server about it and she said because they remade it with top shelf I had to pay for it. They literally sent over the bouncer who pretty much forced us to pay for the drink. If you are going to serve long island icetea it needs to have alcohol in it! Long Island icetea has alot of alcohol in it and you should be able to tell it is a Long Island, and not lemonade.it looked and tasted just like lemonade. They pretty much called me a liar and said I drank the first drink which I did not drink. Saying they could look at the camera footage. Seriously? You need to look at the camera footage to see if I drank the drink. It was full when the server took it to be replaced! I am just appalled at they way they handled the situation of a long time regular customer. What the heck happened to customer service? Absolutely disgraceful way to do business.

Drinks are affordable and the crowd is a great mixture of people of all ages. Everyone seems to generally be in a good mood here. Wednesday's are trivia night. Jeopardy isn't beating down my door but it's always great to sneak out for a few drinks and trying to take down the competition.
