My grandson was playing a tournament out of town, and we had to cancel our trip. On June 6th, about 12:45 I called to get an ETA and was told we were not scheduled until the 20th. The very nice woman said she would speak to her service manager and get back to me. 5 hours later on a Friday afternoon and no return call. I don't know why this company has such a problem servicing their product. You spend the extra money to but a quality product and there's no follow up. Sad. It would have been nice if they called before rescheduling my appointment, I could have gone to see my grandson.

He said it's either the pump or a wire short thats causing the problem. Ed and his helper came in a couple of das because of rain. They pulled the pump and spent about four hours repairing the wire that was shoriting out and fiixing things. We had water. They changed the water softner, which is in an attic, filter and filled the softner pellets. The repair bill was a lot cheaper then I had expected, big relief. What great professtional, affordable user friendly service. I would definitely recommend Hewitt- Messenger. I have used their service several times, no regrets. And, I will definitely use their services again!

An hour and 45 minutes after the end of the scheduled window, the owner called to say the tech was running late. He was still over an hour an a half away but he would be there. This would have put them at my home after 7:15pm (3.5 hours late). I asked them to reschedule. A few days later they called & rescheduled. Then they called to reschedule again. That time after rescheduling they did not show up during the window. I began looking for another company to work with when they called & wanted to "confirm" our appointment. I gave them another chance. I was assured I would be their first stop of the day & given a window of 9a -12p. The day the tech. finally showed up at 11am. He was unfriendly & did not communicate. Around 12:45pm he tells me that he found multiple leaks and that he didn't have parts to fix it so he left our water softener & reverse osmosis systems dissasembled & not working.I was told I would get a call later that day with a price for parts and a date when he could return to fix it but it would probably be a couple weeks before he could come back. That was the most he communicated with me in the entire nearly two hours he was in my home. He didn't explain to me what was broken/not working or why. Just that there was a leak. Two days later, after no contact from Aquasani/Rainsoft I called to inquire. The owner tells me the system is twice as old as they previously told us & he couldn't fix it BUT he could sell me a new system. Prior to their visit, I had zero issues with our systems they worked just fine. After what should have been routine maintenance by his tech, the system is not only not working but also disassembled & leaking. The owner refuses to admit they messed up our system or make it right. He only wants to sell us a new system.

I was told that I had a pipe burst under my house. We called roto rooter they came out and dug to…read morebottom of basement cut a hole in the floor and put a new pipe in out to the septic tank In the process they were digging under the concrete slab that my poop filters at on I have wrot iron fencing around my pool with brick columns so they say that they are done I go outside to look when I get home and they had taken one brick column and an 8 foot section of the concrete slab the bricks and all. Concrete were gone the fence was down all the while them not saying anything but that they had to cut some of the pipe for the pool. So after all of this after about a week the water backs up in the house again. ( first time before they " fixed it" the septic tank was full and needed pumped out. Now the thing backs up about once a week the pipe they put under the house they got too deep and it runs up hill to the tank I had them come out and they said it was my lateral lines. That I didn't have any. So I dug in some new ones hitting all the old ones that weren't there I told them that the tank would over fill if it were on the lateral lines As of now I have to go out every day or two and run a pipe down the clean out or the pipe ( they put in ) had a plug that I nock into the septic tank. They in short made a full tank that only needed pumped cost me $27,xxx.ccx. I had them out several time there answer to me was i needed to put in a new system but the system was working for 20 plus years just had a full tank and after they worked on it and took my money. Mike came out the next day and was able to give us two options on the leak and how to fix it. We decided to have the entire water lines replaced. It required an enormous amount of work. They were able to start the job one day later and finished ahead of time. Their crew was very cautious and took great care while digging up the entire yard doing minimal damage to sidewalks and retaining walls. They went above and beyond to get the job done and restore water to our property with little down time for our renters. While on the job it was discovered that there was a leak inside the residence as well and Mike immediately found the leak and repaired. Three other plumbers couldn't find any leaks but my $1600 water bill said clearly we had a leak. Thank you for doing such a great job in a timely manner . I continued to use them because I was happy with their services but then last weeks EPIC snowstorm hit bursting pipes all over town, and unfortunately the sewage pipe in my house was one of them. My other company was booked out for several weeks with no available eta but said they would call me if something became available. So I started calling around and came upon Bufords number on Yelp. They said like all of the other plumbers in town they were booked out but would have the owner swing by ASAP to assess the situation as if it an easy fix they would try to handle it if time permitted. Josh came out and went over the situation. He came by the next day and evaluated the burst pipe and clogged sewage line without charging me for anything. Unfortunately it was not going to be an easy fix, so he couldn't do it that day but said he would try to schedule me the following week. He suggested calling my other plumbing company back and telling them exactly what the problem was he had diagnosed to see if it would help them be able to schedule me sooner as knowing exactly what the problem was tells them how long it would take them to do the job, and he said he had worked with the other company before and highly recommended them if they could do the work before he could. My other company was able to schedule me a few days later with this knowledge and fixed the issues, but before I could call Buford back to tell them the issue was fixed they called me first to ask if I had resolved the problem and said that they would squeeze me in this week if it hadn't been resolved. So while they didn't actually fix the burst pipe they did drop everything to get out here and diagnose it for free, advised me I was using another great company if they could do the work before they could, and then followed up to make sure it was handled or schedule me in. This following a storm when literally hundreds of houses and business had broken pipes throughout town and they were not lacking for business by any means. Great service and follow through, honest business practices and integrity throughout. I still have my other company which I use, but Buford is now on my saved contacts as my backup should the need ever arise. If you don't have a plumbing company give Buford the business as they will work for it. Thanks guys!
