Came in here for my first time a few weeks ago and the ownemployees were extremely helpful with teaching us how to throw! We ended up bringing back a bigger group for a birthday party this time and it was just as fun! This is a great time for anyone who comes. We all had a blast and even made it a fun competition. I would recommend this place to anyone whether it's 2 people or a big group. They are very accommodating and will do whatever they can to make sure you succeed at axe throwing. Our friends from out of town came to visit and we thought we would do something different. This place came to mind and we were all over 18, so it was perfect. The workers teach you how to do it, but trust me, it is not as easy as it looks. IT took me several minutes to figure out how to do it with the instructor and even still when I was doing it without the instructor, I still sucked. My friends had a really good time. We thankfully got there right before a private event so it was not busy. My friends are already asking when we can go back. Even though I'm a novice axe thrower, I'm sold! While I'm usually not very good at things like this (& by "things" I mean anything requiring physical exertion, strength & focus), this was strangely exhilarating. The staff (Patrick & Taylor) were super nice. After we signed a waiver, Patrick gave us lessons on how to hold the axe, where to stand, how to throw & what we could do to get better. I appreciate this. I asked how many times a day he has to pick up axes off the floor (because that's where most of mine landed while learning) but I did land a few. There were different axes of various weights, 2 targets in 1 area (so like bowling...wait to throw until the person next to you has thrown). I didn't count the # of areas. There are long tables & chairs where you can set your personal belongings by your area. I never felt as if "this is unsafe" but you are hurling a sharp object in the air so there's a sense of danger (but they've got all the safeguards in place) so it's cool! You can tell the staff is knowledgeable about axe throwing. Great addition to Rogers & to NWA in general! I want to come back for Thursday's Ladies Night! Oh...be sure & wear closed toe shoes! We coordinated a team building night at Ozark Axe House and in comparison to any other group activities out there - axe throwing has got to be one of the most memorable and FUN! Great experience at ozark axe house! We had a huge group and they accommodated all of us and patiently taught all 12 of us how to throw the axe and actually hit the target. Hunny and I randomly decided to have a date night. Called up Ozark Axe House to see if they had any openings and sure enough they did. The guys could not have have been any cooler, engaging and accommodating. It truly made the experience more than what we thought it could be. It is nice that they have some food/drink available for purchase but of course you are allowed to bring that in too. Had an absolute blast for when we brought our family to celebrate our sons birthday's. There are 5 lanes and plenty of space for multiple groups to be enjoying an afternoon or evening having fun together. Not only was it a fantastic and fun experience for everyone the staff was great about teaching everyone how to throw and encouraging us with helpful tips and pointers. I see this becoming a frequent destination when our family is looking for something to do together. Highly recommend checking it out. Came to Ozark Axe House with a group of friends to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. It was a blast! The employees were extremely nice and informative. They teach you everything you need to know, then even helped critique you later and perfect your throws. They taught us different tricks and ways the throw the axe and even brought out knives for us to learn how to throw! We had a blast and ended up extending our time. We had the best time at Ozark Axe House!! The Axperts are so helpful and they really worked with everyone in our group to help us find our technique. We had 16 people for a birthday party and we rented 2 lanes for one hour. The staff let us stay for 2 hours!! They even gave the birthday boy a sticker.
