The ladies at the front counter are very rude. And when spoken to they reply with a roll of the eyes or a head shake. If you own a business, you need to have a happy face at the front. You're the first person they see and the last person you see you should be welcoming,?warm and friendly. After all, they are spending money in your establishment! The clientele is clearly not expected to behave in a family environment. There's a lot of cussing and screaming from adolescent teenagers that dress like animals. All businesses have the right to refuse service so I wish they would learn to refuse service that isn't good for business! Music selection is poor. Bathrooms were dirty, and there was a girl in the bathroom vaping. There was a stabbing between two young teenage boys. Clearly not a safe place to be. Apparently from what I understand also birthday parties are not really well thought out. They've booked too many parties at one time in the evening so there's no other place for families to sit if they're not there for the party. You have to pay $2dollars per small drink per guest, which is clearly expensive. Most kids that are skating will not drink just one drink and of course they don't keep up with their drinks either. A package with free refills would be nice or something that you are spending $100 on drinks. It's NOT an adult bar! Just a poorly owned establishment that could have so much potential with a real business person running a true family friendly place. Oh and get better music too!

Wholesome vibes and child friendly music! New clean skates and a clean smooth floor! Helpful good…read moreskaters for staff! They have good dj that uses all the different lights and equipment it's so pretty! The floor is smaller than roller city but overall it's x100 better of a skate place. Water is awfully expensive

Springfield Skateland - action shot for roller derby

I've only ever been here during Adult Skate Night, which happens once a month. It's late night, a…read moregreat deal, and I don't have to worry about running into or falling over on a small child. I also have started bringing my own skates. However, if you don't have your own, roller skates are included in your entry fee, but roller blades are an extra cost. They recently redid the rink during COVID, so the wood floors are nice and smooth now! They have arcade games, a mini cafe with snacks and concession foods. There are also lockers that you can rent for a quarter to put your shoes and keys in while you skate. It is definitely a mom and pop kinda feel, family owned and run. Pre COVID, there was one adult skate night where they handed out cupcakes for the owners birthday. Another time we showed up to skate for the last half hour and the lady at the front counter gave us a discount since there was only a little time left to skate. I don't ever expect this to happen again, but it was a kind gesture that you really only get with locally owned places. My one complaint is that they play the same 90s rap music during Adult Skate Night. I wish they would mix it up. However, I'm so glad there is a skate rink still open and operating in Springfield.

Absolutely ABYSMAL. I have never seen such an arrogantly incompetent ownership/management team IN…read moreMY LIFE. You pay full price to get into a two hour window of skating, they don't tell you when you pay if you are 5 minutes into that window or an hour and forty five minutes into that window. You would think they would say, "oh, you know you only have 20 minutes left to skate, right?" Nope. They'll take your money and blame you for the confusion. Then when you finally get out to skate, they clear the floor every couple of songs in order to play some stupid game that almost nobody wants to play. THEN they kick all the kids off the floor so that only adults can skate the last song that THEN opens the floor up for the next hour to ONLY adults. I swear, I have land, money, time and now desire to open up a skate park that is actually nice and doesn't have owners that are trying to fund their retirement and their grandkids retirement off the backs of their skaters, which really wouldn't be THAT bad if they offered a beautiful place to skate. I've only had this fire lit under me two other times in this life but I've accomplished my goals both of the other times and this time I am going to start tomorrow on working on this. I want this place out of business or completely reformed by the end of summer. They have become complacent by being the only place here in Springfield. I am going to change that. This place reset their hours during Covid, they crapped over their customers because they can. I aim to change that. I am SHOCKED at the ineptitude being practiced at this place. And the arrogance of the owner blew my mind. I have no words. I'm speechless. I am actually pissed to the point of doing something. Skateland, count your remaining days.

There is a splash pad area for little kids, a snack bar, rock climbing wall, diving boards, lockers, and a big changing room with showers and bathrooms. The only issue is it is pretty expensive $15 for all day per person (over 48inches). But if you are military it is only $8 and they have discounted rates if you come after 3 I think. They also in the summer have late float hours for $3 to just do the lazy river after hours. We buy the punch cards online which save quite a bit of money and if you get them at their half of sale before summer each visit is about $5. They don't allow you to bring in food but you can bring in tumblers and refillable water bottles ans the snack bar is very affordable with snacks like nachos, hotdogs, and sandwiches around $3-6. 5 stars!

I greatly appreciated all of the lifeguards and their attentiveness. Especially with the slides! I took my two 9-year olds with my husband and we hardly had any down time between the lazy river, the slides, the diving board, and the lily pad ropes. They could have an even bigger obstacle course section on the water and I bet it would be a huge hit! The food was priced well for what it was. I enjoyed my chili cheese dog and Coke icee and my kids enjoyed their nachos! We got there when they first opened at 11 on a Saturday and stayed until about 4:15. We were all exhausted! My kids have already asked if we could go back.
