not nearly a quarter of goodness as Starlight Skatium.Too many dark corners, the only thing good about is is that it has a large floor.

Natural wonders are a thing of beauty. That's what I love about an experience like a cave…read more Owners may monetize it, but the Onyx Cave crew gave a fair price - and they offer two levels of access so you can choose what you'd like to spend. It's amazing to see how water literally forms the earth. And in a world of endless digital entertainment, Onyx Cave Park offers a wonderful alternative. The only improvement? It would be cool if their pre-recorded guided tour could be rewound, forwarded, or jumped to the number stop that you would like to be repeated. A few of our headphones got off a bit in our party, and the poor tech ended up separating us on our journey through the cave.

When we found the visitor center (down some ramps that were pretty steep!), we decided to do the cheaper, non-guided tour because we were on a time crunch. We received some headsets with the audio loaded on them, and started our trek. (if I went back, I'd get the more expensive tour to get the guided tour element, which seemed to be an extra 30 minutes with a guide after you go through the caves). As we went through the caves, there is an audio overlay that tells you more about the caves. Unfortunately, some of the sign posts were no longer in place (We weren't sure where a couple of the stops were because the signs weren't there!), but it was easy enough to get yourself oriented with what the audio guide told you. Honestly, it was such a fun time, learned a lot of trivia, and a cool way to spend about an hour (we took forever in the caves bc they were fun!) on our weekend vacation. 4 stars due to the missing sign posts but 5 stars for the random fun to be had on the tour!

You know things are about to get interesting when a 200-foot tower named "Gravity Bomb" looms over…read morethe parking lot and there's a cartoon Bigfoot giving you a thumbs up like, "Yeah, trust me, this'll be fun." Welcome to Bigfoot Fun Park in Branson--a place where your inner child meets your adult-level fear of heights and your wallet quietly starts sweating. We started with the mini golf, because nothing gets the blood pumping like passive-aggressive putting. The course was glow-in-the-dark, covered in caves, waterfalls, and Bigfoot-themed props. At one point I putted through a log that looked suspiciously like a porta-potty. My ball ricocheted into a fake pond and I pretended that was part of the experience. Then came the main event: the Bigfoot Action Tower. There are two options--either shoot 200 feet in the air like you just stepped on a LEGO, or drop straight down like a terrified ragdoll. We did the drop ride, and I swear time slowed down. I heard colors. I made promises to the universe. And when we landed, I couldn't stop laughing--or maybe crying, it's all a blur. The arcade was next, where we exchanged real dollars for digital tokens and digital tokens for tickets, and then tickets for one (1) glow-in-the-dark rubber chicken. Worth it? Spiritually, yes. We peeked into the Yeti Fun Zone, which is like a jungle gym on caffeine. Kids were leaping off platforms, zipping down slides, and flopping into air bags like little gymnastic possums. I considered joining but remembered I'm at the age where I can injure myself sneezing. To finish the trip, we checked out the 8D theater ride, which included VR goggles, laser guns, and an on-screen Bigfoot in what I can only describe as the weirdest cowboy vs. alien vs. sasquatch scenario ever rendered. All in all, Bigfoot Fun Park is weird, wild, and unexpectedly charming. It's like someone asked, "What if Chuck E. Cheese married a roller coaster and they had a baby raised by Bigfoot?" And honestly? That baby turned out great.

They recently added escape rooms which are some of the best in Branson. The arcade is solid, but the mini golf is top notch- some of the best on the strip. Don't sleep on this place!

Next you watch a video. Then they weigh you and check the height of the children. Weight limit is 300 pounds. They are big on safety-one at a time they seat you in the "coaster"- you are buckled in with 2 safety straps-additional child straps. There are handles to hold to control speed. I am not big on speed and went slow. The coaster climbs through the woods and fake animals are scattered throughout. At the top there is a shed and guide who gives a thumbs up and down the hill you go-tilting slightly at times and circling around. They assist you and unstrap you at the end. A photo is taken 3/4 of the way down-smile and try not to look scared! Summary All the locals recommended this ride as the most scenic and it was! If we knew how long it was gonna take to get on the coaster we wouldn't have gone that late. I think the people that give you your tickets should say how long of a wait it would be before you actually wait in line. The track was very pretty all lit up, but what I didn't like was it was very fast and around every turn I thought the coaster was gonna fly right off the track. I kept pulling back for the brakes to slow it down a bit but the brakes didn't work at all. My daughter said the same thing. I love coasters, but I just didn't feel safe on this one. Maybe that's just the way mountain coasters are I'm used to amusement park coasters.

We got there shortly after they opened and was lucky enough to snag a couple chairs in the shade. After a bit we got in line for some food and it was pretty chaotic. You get in a line, grab what you want, and pay at the register at the end of the line. It was like pulling teeth trying to get the kids chicken tenders meal, which IMO, should be the thing they always keep stocked. Contrary to what other reviews say, there's a good amount of water slides and things to do. My daughter and I had a blast. We only had one long wait in line, which was fine. If we go back to Branson, we will definitely go back.

It is a very fun place to go and splash around and cool off when the weather is warm. This place has water slides, a lazy river, and a wave pool, and it is just so much to go down all those slides with inner tubes or by yourself, relax in the slow-moving lazy room and feel the crash of the waves in the wave pool. It's got all the water recreation amenities one could ever want. Another one of my favorite things at Whitewater are the urinals in the mens' restroom aside from the locker room. That restroom has the tall, elongated floor-standing urinals and I love using those. It's one of my favorite water parks and places in Branson. If you're in or near the Branson area during the warm months, you have to go this place and splash around. And adult waterparks are definitely my playground!

There are shows happening all day long, from live music and bluegrass to comedy and saloon-style performances. Depending on the season, there are also special productions throughout the park. It's nice to be able to sit down, take a break, and still feel like you're part of the experience. And since the shows are included with admission, it adds a lot of value to your visit. It's also a great spot if you have younger kids. There is plenty for them to do beyond just rides, including play areas, interactive attractions, and even a train ride. It's not one of those parks where little kids are limited. They can stay busy all day. The whole park has a really cool 1880s theme and is honestly one of the most beautiful theme parks I've been to. Between the shops, craftsmen, and scenery, it feels more like an experience than just rides. That said, be ready for a lot of walking. This park is very hilly and you will feel it by the end of the day. Lines can also get long during busy times. Overall, it's a really unique place with a ton to do for all ages. Between the shows, rides, and kid-friendly activities, you can easily spend a full day here and still not see everything.

Our overall review based on being there 21 Dec, which changed the atmosphere a bit…read more Pros: - Amazing festive lights and decor. - Good food and it wasn't too pricey. There is a mobile ordering option for some places through the app that helped us a lot with the long lines. - Very friendly and helpful employees. - Easy to get to and navigate the park. - Smaller attractions like Grandpa's mansion were fun! - the APP is sooo helpful! - kiddo loved the knife shop and personal rings booth. The proprietors were so nice! - PowderKeg and TimeTraveler rides were awesome. Wish would could have done more than one! Cons: - We went during a weekend when people believed (as advertised) it was the last Rudolph train parade which made it especially chaotic. That was later changed in a way but it made this weekend before Christmas majorly bad. Kiddo was mad about the odd advertising after we heard a shop owner talking about a last minute meeting. - Better locker placement. We based this on Dollywood where there was a locker before each ride but SDC has them in certain "villages" which takes time to navigate. Bc of this we barely used the locker we bought - instead there are cubbies at each ride that work out better. - The kid rides area (Fireman's village or other) is smack in the middle of the route between spaces which made travel from ride to ride difficult. - During Xmas it is hectic, especially the weekend before. The whole operation is overwrought with people and it gets difficult to move, buy food, go on rides (we waited 2 hours for time traveler and saw on the app other rides were just as long). We also waiting 45 minutes for a funnel. - our personal note - we found a decent spot for the parade and got kicked out right before it started, by security. No signage - just you can't be in this open space (it was the mulch around the stage near the big Xmas tree) We left, parade be damned - which was when a lot of people were actually leaving. - outlaw ride was closed one of the biggest nights. - overpriced junk - my kiddo recognized a 'carved bear' from another theme park and when we looked at it close it was made in the Philippines. There are some good options for craftsman here but double check before paying for high priced inports. Key notes: - we knew we would be at the park into the night so we paid the $65 to get awesome parking up front. That turned out to be a great decision because as the masses were leaving we got out in 10 mins. I know that may seem silly but it as a priority for me and I know not everyone. For $20 you can get closer parking. They do have trolleys for free parking and they were running regularly. Make the decision that is best for you! - if they have the time traveler pass available - get it if you can. We spent so much time in line to watch the add on payers jump up and get more out of their time. At this park, there are only so many awesome rides. The limitations on the pass are far exceeded by the wasted time. This is only important if you are here for the rides and not just exploring. Notes: - the ground had paint stamps to help you navigate but they were worn out and made it hard. - there are shops to warm up in but as Colorado people who have seen a thing or two maybe warming stations with heaters or warming barrels like they do at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo would be good. Most people love a good wood fire smell. Overall - plan accordingly. We personally would not recommend the weekend before Xmas (we figured people would be traveling and that was a bad assumption). Know what your interest are - if you want to do shopping then that would be fine. If you want rides, maybe look at different dates you want to go.
