An absolute Godsend!
I woke up to discover the worst damage my dog has ever done (upstairs and downstairs). We received a postcard with a gift card promotion for carpet cleaning from Oxy Pro the previous day. I fished it out of the trash and from answering the phone on the first ring to the final handshake at the door they were consummate professionals through and through.
I felt like it was serendipitous. Ignoring my early inclination to go with a company that has a bigger internet presence and more five star reviews, but I was very short on time and the other two cleaners (highest rated on Yelp and Google) were not only rude but too busy to help or care.
Oxy Pro had availability that same day which also made me a little nervous. I would later find out that after sharing my story/predicament (hosting a dinner party the next night) he added me to the schedule at the end of the day.
They weren't available and were booked for a solid week straight which did make me feel a bit better and helped me justify in my mind going with a company that was nearly non-existent from the internet.
Glen (the owner) was kind, professional and courteous. They did a great job, and he educated me on the type of carpet/rugs/hardwood I had and how best to care for them in the future. I wouldn't dream of using anyone else. He helped us out of a very precarious situation.
It was inspiring to see how much energy they (mostly Glen) still had and how they still made us feel important. A lesser tech after a long grueling day might rush through the job so that they could get home or make it to the bar before happy hour ends.
FULL DISCLOSURE: I am the owner of a marketing company and hired Oxy Pro Carpet Cleaning out to my house to clean my carpets after my dog had an accident well actually a series of accidents. So many pet stains on our rugs, floors, carpets, and even on the upholstery.
I had forgot the groomer's appointment earlier that week. From what I could could gather by surveying the damage was that one of my dogs had gotten some of his poop caught in his fur (month past his normal grooming appointment) and he spent all night trying to get it out. We ended up with 13 spots on our carpet and rugs. He even backed himself up against some furniture to try and rid himself of the fecal matter.
I don't know if it was something he ate or if the trauma/damage upset his stomach but he also threw up on the upstairs carpet. Apparently, it came out of both ends at some point. I attached a picture of the culprit coming back from the groomers after the incident.
When I learned about the history of Oxy Pro and their unique value proposition in the marketplace I thought maybe there is an opportunity to work together.
My company has a lot of experience with homes services companies. I have seen the best of the best and helped train the worst of the worst to become the best of the best. I can honestly say that Glen and Oxy Pro Carpet Cleaning were absolute professionals and didn't need my help in the overall customer experience.
I know nothing about carpet cleaning. Thankfully Glen and co. were total experts. We had significant stains/damage that were unsightly, embarrassing, and foul smelling. ALL GONE! We were so impressed by the quality of care our carpets were given and the drying process we engaged in a conversation about their digital marketing efforts and the rest is still being written.
However, with that said when we hired Oxy Pro we were not working together and I feel that my review of their services and talent is purely genuine. I would have written this review even if we didn't decide we were a good fit. Hire them for your next carpet cleaning or other floor cleaning service. You will be glad you did! read more
