Mr. Grant Trampes provided us with an overview of the potential foundation leak that was causing the problem and alternative solutions. We were impressed by the presentation and approved the estimate. The crew went right to work stripping the room, carpet and walls around the leak. They set up equipment to dry the area completely. Mr. Trampes isolated the problem area and prepared a thorough report with photos for our insurance company. He also recommended a contractor to restore the room once the foundation was sealed. He gave us a written quote and throughly explained the process and that it would take 3-days to complete. He does all the work himself, so no other workers are involved. We purchased our own field tile and accent tile at Lowes, but he can provide tile if preferred. Our job cost more because the tile we chose was thicker than the original tile and took longer to install. Randy was right on time every day and has many years of tile laying experience so he knew how to handle the unexpected. Our 1950's shower had plywood behind the tile, so he knew to apply a rubberized coating to make it waterproof. The whole project ran right on schedule and Randy was friendly and helpful to work with. The cost was around $2,400 for his labor and some extra parts. Additionally, our tile cost was around $400. We are so thankful that he was available and would use him again if we have other tile needs.
