The shop has a website too which will give you a much broader look at what they sell. When i first went into this shop i was quite amazed at the smell, its smelt of insense- lots and lots of insense mixed with some sort of drug, it must ahve been. But whatever it was it smelt great! A good feeling whilst being in there and coming out! The staff are super friendly here and will do whatever they can to help out! This can also be said about the online/phone teams too! Although they are based in Bury St Edmonds, which is very close. The shp sells lots of trainers and hoodies and combats and skirts, all by well known brands too which can be seen from some of th prices. Which although fair i suppose could eb lower. They have lots of colour in the shop too, and you just want to look at everything. It really is very weird but cool at the same time! So if your looking for a new bong or bandana or even trainers sunrise has it all! Definately worth going to even if you dont want or need to buy anything! There are plenty of such places in Peterborough, however Sue Ryder Vintage is by far and away the most impressive. Set over two storeys they have everything from vintage fashion (with designer brands not uncommon) to old cameras, retro video games and collectibles from the last century going all the way into antiquities. There is also a large collection of vintage records on offer as well. There is truly something for everyone here whether you are going in simply to browse or have intent to find that one special item. The staff here are all enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. It is nice to visit a vintage store and have passionate people to talk shop with as it were. This definitely adds to the atmosphere of the place which is something that you will definitely want to soak up and enjoy. The icing on the cake for me is that the prices are very reasonable for what is on offer and often, I find things for less than I see them going for on ebay and the like. Whenever I am in town I always pop into Sue Ryder Vintage and I can only recommend that you do too. It is really a place where you can kill a few hours poking your nose into corners and discovering some fantastic bits of history for sale.

The Junk Shop is an Aladdin's cave of rubbish/treasure on Greenwich South Street. The stock varies from biographies and historical artifacts (mainly right wing paraphernalia- a Daily Mail series on the modern monarchy, an enormous hardback on the Third Reich and a Thatcher biography) Amongst all the military-themed bits of tat, there are actually some very good finds- there were some cool old 1950s Christmas cards, some 1960s newspapers in excellent condition and some beautiful vintage postcards. It is a funny old place but definitely worth a rummage through.

Alas, the young Richmond residents don't seem to be donating much to there local charity. While there were quite a few rails of clothes, they were mainly in the 50+ age bracket. Well done middle aged Richmond! Shame on the youngsters! What I was impressed with though, was the amount of books that were on offer. So many that they were categorised; Literature, Biography, History and Mind Body and Spirit. This gives you a sense of the reading materials of Richmond. The Mind Body Spirit section was big! I was also surprised to see sweets and chocolates. You don't get this at my local. There was a lot of Fair Trade chocolates, and the Divine chocolate range, which I often see in Selfridges for three times the price. There was also a bit of the Burnt Sugar range sold here, this is the organic fudge made in different flavours. I know where all my family are going to get their Christmas chocs this year!

There are rails and rails of clothes from the 1920s onwards, a men's section on the third floor and oodles of linen, accessories, hats and suitcases. Even old, working sewing machines, buttons and fabulous Vogue patterns from the 1950s. Just when you think you've seen everything, there's another nook or cranny just waiting to be explored. The only heartbreaking thing is that in many cases, the sizes are just too small for most people today. A consequence of changing body shapes, I suppose. But if you are a size 16, then prepare for a long rummage to find something your size. I know, I've been there. But if you look like Christina Hendricks, there's every chance you could leave looking like an extra from Mad Men or like you've walked from the pages of The Best of Everything. Now, the only thing is to find Don Draper.....

They buy and re sell all sorts of goods from DVD's and games to guitars and TV's and they are good at creating decent prices! This treasure chest is located on Mill Road which I am beginning to call 'The Road of Wonders'! There is something a little off about dear old Cambridge Resale and that is the gun department they seem to be fashioning at the back of the store. I haven't yet enquired into this and maybe it's best not to?! That aside, it's a great place with a wealth of things to buy and don't forget, they don't just sell to you, they by from you too.
