The prices can be too from about fifty quid up to tens of thousands. The staff were incredibly helpful and, not as I first feared, judgmental about my total lack of knowledge around book collecting. I could happily spend hours in the shop going through the books and, after leafing through some of the more affordable ones, can now see the charm of book collecting. Even if you're not in the market for buying, pay a visit and experience the history.

I used to visit this shop regularly as it is rammed full of books, and all really nicely organised…read moretoo, however I have found that, for a secondhand book shop, it is getting quite expensive. The staff are really good though and will do what they can to help you find what you are looking for. It is nicely placed right in the middle of the shopping parade, near to the car park.
