DO NOT GO TO THIS MEAN HATEFUL LADY... YOU WILL BE WASTING YOUR TIME AND YOUR MONEY GOING TO HER AND RECEIVE WRONG EYE PRESCRIPTION. Should have known something was wrong from the moment of entering her office. THE LIGHTS WERE OFF except for where the receptionist was sitting. I thought they were closed. Was told that lights stayed off due to keeping energy costs down. The receptionist was a sweetheart but Owyoung was a mean c.u.n.t and I felt as if she rushed my eye exam. She acted as if I was wasting her time. Long story short, took over 5 weeks to receive my glasses! AND I CAN'T SEE OR READ WITH THE GLASSES ON! read more

I also got horrible service. Front office girl was great. Dr Ow needs to retire if she can't learn good customer service. I would never have spoken to one of my customers the way she spoke to me. Raised her voice and treated me like I'm an idiot. Was doing what she asked but not to her satisfaction. My daughter went there and got worse service. Will never recommend her to anyone again. I got a second opinion, because I wasn't confident with mine and my two kids' exams. She was totally off on all three of our exams.

Loved their eyeglass selection and I found a pair I loved right away. Anyway I ordered the glasses and picked them up on Friday, tried them on and they seemed good so I left. I wore them all weekend and noticed the sight of reading (glasses I got are no line) was really minimal. They are kind of like looking through a small pipe or a straw and everything on the side of that is really blurry. So on monday I took them in and the doctor said that's just how the no lines are. WHAT? Blurry so you cant see? I wish I would have known that I would have gotten a separate pair of readers. Told them that the left side of the glasses keep pulling out my hair and that you can feel where it's pulling. She said that's just how there made. WHAT? Then I asked if they could adjust them because they keep sliding down my nose. She said it would take a little while to warm the machine up. I said no problem and started looking for the demo glasses (like the pair I bought) but couldn't find them so I asked where they might be. She said "those were the one's you bought" WHAT? So I said you mean the glasses I bought weren't new? I bought a pair of glasses that everyone has tried on? Told her that's probably why their pulling my hair out because there not new. The doctor then said " There new, I had to buy them". WHAT? Anyway they adjusted them so they wouldn't fall off my face and I asked if maybe the base curve could be off and that's why the reading vision is off the girl said "Well no because I measured your pupils". WHAT? So I'm going to wear them for awhile to see if they get better. If not I'm going to take them somewhere else and have them checked out. Received my newest pair of prescription glasses from Dr Ow Young recently and am so pleased with them. The correction is very accurate and I can see really well with them. Everything that I am reading is so clear and sharp; the words seem to pop off the page. When I am driving all the wording on the road signs are sharp. Great service! read more

Nice website and that's about it. I scheduled my appointment a few days in advance for 4:30 p.m. I get a call the same day wanting to change it, because they close at 5pm and it's Friday... ??? That is not my fault, you scheduled it for me! I should have cancelled right then and there, but nope. I went, when I showed up it was the Dr that greeted me, the receptionist had left already. Messy desk, not a very welcoming office. A quick look at their frame selection and I immediately knew I'd take my prescription elsewhere. As the Dr did her preliminary testing someone else came in (no receptionist there to help!) She had them wait till after she finished with me.. then made me wait for her to find the other patient's contacts etc.. I was finally in the exam room and she just seemed inpatient with my non-quick responses. I was tired after working all day and staring at a monitor! I explained this to her.. and asked her to please repeat the lenses because I wasn't sure which was clearer or blurrier (that switcharoo thing they do) she says, "Just give me an answer." Really? Afterwards I ask for my prescription, she lets out a big frustrated sigh (am I bothering you??) and says to me, "I hope you get your glasses here.....we do need to pay our bills." (and she wasn't kidding) WHAT!? Seriously... and when I paid my co-payment and asked for a receipt another frustrated look.. Not my fault your receptionist didn't know not to schedule you a 4:30 pm on a Friday! read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE! I went in a few days ago to get a regular exam done because I was having trouble seeing. I went in and the exam was fine. Alma at the front front desk was helpful and even the doctor was nice at the time. I continued with my exam as normal. When I was finished I headed outside and she gave me contacts to try on. I had an extreme amount of difficulty getting one side in as it kept sticking to itself and folding in half. When I finally got them in, she had me go back to the chair to test my vision again with the contacts on. One of the eyes was fine, but the other was worse than when I didn't have the contacts in. The contact ended up being old. It Wasn't a big deal. So I get the new ones on and she examined them in my eyes and sent me home with them. I was charged 160 dollars. As I wore them the next few days I noticed my preferial vision was distractingly blurry. I asked my mother and both sisters that are regular contact users and they told me that it definitely wasn't normal. I assumed maybe these sample lenses have been sitting like the last ones, so I thought if I bought a box I'd have some fresh new ones. When I bought the new lenses, I continued having the same problem. I called the doctor today and she insisted that it was normal to see blurry. I even clarified the problem because I was in disbelief that she didn't want to help me figure this out. I asked her if there was any way I can try a different sample brand but she told me that those samples were for fittings only and there was no way she could give me any. She also said that there was no warranty on the lenses. I told her that I understand and I didn't want my money back for the box I bought, I just wanted to try another sample in case the brand was the problem so I could get the right lenses. She insisted NO. I asked her what my options were thinking she would give me another exam in case she measured my eyes incorrectly. She said the only option I have is buying another brand when I need more. I could not believe what I was hearing. She even had the audacity to ask me if I knew how much the mark up on the lenses was as if I was trying to steal from her and told me "I'm trying to make a living". I don't care how much you make off contacts, all I know is that I spent 160 dollars on an exam that didn't fix my eyesight. She gave me no alternative and basically took my money. I will never return to this place and will NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE to this doctor. Worst customer service experience I have ever had anywhere. Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE but this place. Would definitely give this ZERO stars if I could. read more
