Her treatment was more then we could normally afford, so instead of having to put her down one of the staff took her in as their own. We're so grateful. Running a sanctuary for cats we often have to make a tough choice for untreatable animals that have to be humanely laid to rest and it's doesn't ever get easier.

We had to put our adorable, loving shih tzu to sleep due to a sudden onset paralyzation. I was met my a nice employee up front that told me they did not currently have any shih tzu dogs available for adoption. I took her at her word and did not venture into the dedicated adoption area. I did inspect the exercise area located in the back to the center. It seemed clean and well kept. They had several of the larger dogs out for exercise and had some really nice larger dogs up for adoption. Unfortunately, they did not have a breed I was looking for but i will continue my search. Today is 6-7-16. If you know someone who has a female shih tzu that they need to find a good home for, please let me know. Puppies or a younger adult is preferred. I'm not against owning both a male and female. Send me a private message via Yelp. Thanks for the help. Please let me know below if you found this review to be useful, funny, or cool. Thanks for reading.

Wanted me to write statements for her about our local Animal Control, dragged her feet on fosters for the puppies even though she herself had puppies and a momma in a hoarder home that had parvo 2 yrs ago, blew up my phone while I was at a funeral wanting me to write something about caddo and made a comment "our legal team will be reaching out". I finally blocked her. She ghosted the puppies and left them in caddo so another rescue tagged them. 2 former fosters said she's made rhem pay for medical care and food and another said ahe ghosted them as well. I guarantee she'll be ss this to threaten to "sue me for slander" like she says to everyone else.

Then after a month verbally attacked me across Facebook over the same puppies acting as if I did something wrong when their OWNER was trying to re-home them herself saying I just abandoned those dogs who were never my dogs! I even provided proof that I had been helping them for over a year and all they did was block me. Then take glory for "Helping" the puppies they abandoned while leaving a hoarder to have 36 dogs in her house not caring about the parents.

Monroe Local Guide·27 reviews·9 photos…read more a week ago New I went in today to get my 10 year-old Golden Retriever his vaccines that were needed. I tried calling beforehand. Nobody would answer the phone. I tried calling several times no answer so we went in. It was 1:50 PM.The door was wide open with no cars in the parking lot. When I walked in the girl at the front demanded what do you need? I responded my animal needs vaccines. She retorted back aggressively "I need this clipboard back before two". She had an aggressive turse rough demeanor. I said no problem. I turned it back into her at 1:55. She rolled her eyes without looking at me and said "what's his name" again in a very abrupt manner. I had missed a little box off to the right side that I didn't see. I filled that out, put his name on that he was male and his age. handed the clipboard back and she said go sit down. Will call you when he's ready. We were the only ones in the waiting room. Nobody else was in there. After a minute or two of sitting there they called him back. The girl asked me a few questions if he had any seizures or allergic reactions to vaccines, but she never introduced herself, said anything to Bentley or us other than ask us if he'd have ever had any seizures or allergic reactions to vaccines. She said, hold his head, turn his butt. Very aggressive and angry. I didas directed then she said, hold his head straight up in the air nose pointed to the ceiling, which I did, she shoved the Bordetella vaccine in his nose. The entire staff acted as if they were all angry at someone or something. He's a golden retriever, very kind and 10 years old. She treated him in a very aggressive unaffectionate way towards the animal, as if it was his fault she was there. I have been there several times before and never been treated in this manner. I will pay more to go to a regular veterinarian. If you care about your animal and more about the animal than the cost, I highly recommend not going there. these employees who don't wear name tags that I saw don't introduce themselves and treat the animals in a very aggressive way in front of me. I can imagine what they do when the owners aren't there. They should not be working there around animals. Shame on all of them. It's becoming very evident there's something going on with upper management at this particular establishment and it's trickling down to the public employee. my husband and I are both nurses. I'm an RN. I've been in healthcare 40 years recently retired now. If I treated my patients and family the way they treated us and their patient.( my golden) I wouldn't have a job very long. Management allows this to happen
