I had used this company a few years ago for a quick repair on account of refinancing the house and…read morethe bank's inspector found wood rot. Fast forward and we are selling the house and decided to use this gentleman's company again. On the day I reached him he was out a few hours later to give a bid. He used a ladder. Many contractors don't, which is surprising. The following day the estimate was received. It's best to obtain several estimates. This company had provided quality work but they are extremely expensive. Yes, I've heard the saying "You get what you pay for." However, when estimates are priced based on line by line items instead of per project; it can become unclear if someone is trying to take advantage of a project or is providing a high bid because they are too busy to accept a new project. Make sure when hiring a contractor you purchase the materials for the identical cost that the contractor would have purchased them, too.

I cannot recommend Chris Burge Fence highly enough! We were preparing to move into our new home…read morewhen I realized I urgently needed a fence installed before moving day. My German Shepherd was very ill at the time and needed to go outside frequently. Without a fenced yard, it simply would not have been possible for me to take her in and out as often as she needed. I explained the situation to Chris, and he immediately understood how important it was. He essentially rearranged his schedule to make sure our fence was installed within just two weeks, allowing us to move in on time and, most importantly, making my dog's final weeks much more comfortable. The quality of the workmanship was outstanding. The fence is beautiful, but what impressed me just as much was the care the installation crew took with our brand-new sod. As they dug each post hole, they carefully cleaned up the excavated dirt so it wasn't left scattered across the lawn. When they finished, the yard looked remarkably clean, and it was obvious they took pride in doing things the right way. From beginning to end, Chris was responsive, compassionate, professional, and true to his word. Exceptional customer service is hard to find these days, but Chris Burge Fence exceeded every expectation. If you're looking for a fencing company that delivers outstanding craftsmanship and genuinely cares about its customers, I wholeheartedly recommend Chris Burge Fence. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Outstanding Quality and Service - Even After the Job Was Done!…read more I recently hired Tom Burge Fence Co. to replace my chain link fence with a 6' cedar privacy fence to help reduce noise from neighboring dogs. I received three bids and chose Tom Burge Fence Co.--even though their bid was the highest--because of their longstanding reputation for quality work. The entire experience confirmed I made the right choice. The fence was completed in just three days and the workmanship was top-notch. I was very happy with the finished product and how quickly the project was completed. The real test of a company's integrity, however, often comes after the job is done. The day after the fence was installed, my other neighbor mentioned that the new fence had reduced the width of his gate opening by about three inches, preventing his commercial lawn service from accessing his backyard. I called Tom, and without hesitation, he sent his crew out within a few days. They reinstalled a wider gate, resetting posts and fitting a new gate to restore the original width--all at no additional cost. My neighbor was thrilled with the result, and I was impressed by the company's commitment to making things right, even after the sale was completed. It's rare to find a contractor that stands so firmly behind their work. I highly recommend Chris Burge Fence Co. for anyone looking for quality craftsmanship and exceptional service.
