After reviewing where the sample had been taken, it appeared to be from a surface mark that looked more like residue from our Roborock vacuum rather than an area of suspected contamination. Because the conditions in the home and my symptoms persisted, I pursued independent testing. I sent samples to ProLab in Florida, which detected mold, including toxigenic species. I also hired LK Environmental to perform professional air and tape sampling, and both tests came back positive. I ultimately had to hire another company to complete the assessment, which resulted in additional and unnecessary expense. Based on my experience, I do not feel the inspection was thorough or representative of the actual conditions in the home. I have reached out to the company regarding this and hope they will address it appropriately.
