Spectrum Home Inspection exceeded every expectation. Their inspection was incredibly thorough, detailed, and professional. Our inspector, Jemic, was outstanding. His knowledge, attention to detail, and professionalism were evident throughout the entire process. Even after the report was completed, I had several follow-up questions, and Jemic took the time to explain everything clearly and patiently. Having bought and sold many homes over the years, I can honestly say I've never worked with an inspector who was more knowledgeable, responsive, and professional. The detailed report and excellent communication gave us confidence in moving forward with our purchase. I highly recommend Spectrum Home Inspection, and especially Jemic, to anyone looking for a trustworthy and experienced home inspector. We will absolutely be using them again for our next home purchase. read more

In response , Your business is listed as being open 7 days a week 24 hours a day. But of course calling at 4:00 pm (during normal business hours) and nobody is available to take my call. This is very frustrating especially when my hard earned money is being spent to pay for a service that is sub par, then to have pay to for something that should have been addressed by the company that you paid to inspect it. Then to have to deal with horrid smells in your home because of someone else's mistake. I read to your "scheduler" exactly what the home warranty plumber put in the report. I read word for word what the warranty denial email said including the P-trap being installed incorrectly. What your scheduler chose to relay to you is in her not me. All the plumbing that the plumber saw was clearly visible for the inspector. No walls were opened. If your inspector is not aware of how a P-trap should be installed then maybe he needs more training. In your voicemail you (Lynn) stated that it was an easy fix for a handy man. This is pretty clear that you are trying to pass the buck and assume no further liability or responsibility. At no point in time did your voicemail say that you would send someone else out to look at it. But it is obvious that you would rather point fingers than take any responsibility. BTW, I was speaking to your scheduler on the blue tooth in my car, I am hearing impaired and I have to turn the volume up higher in order to hear clearly. Honestly, I was in tears speaking to your scheduler because I am getting very frustrated with this companies ripping me off . The volume was up but o was never rude or nasty to your scheduler. read more

Spectrum Inspection Group - But no one is available to take your call - Home Inspectors Near Me

As a Realtor, I always refer Spectrum Inspection to perform buyer inspections. There inspectors are always very professional and spend time at the end of the inspection briefing my clients on issues they have found. In addition to thorough inspections the report provided give me as a Realtor a request for repairs format that can be assembled easily and forward to the seller's agent with great explanations of the work needed. I highly recommend anyone needing an inspection of their home for any reason use Spectrum Inspection Group. read more

I hired Spectrum Inspection Group to perform mold testing at my home. The inspector collected a tape sample and reported the results as negative. After reviewing where the sample had been taken, it appeared to be from a surface mark that looked more like residue from our Roborock vacuum rather than an area of suspected contamination. Because the conditions in the home and my symptoms persisted, I pursued independent testing. I sent samples to ProLab in Florida, which detected mold, including toxigenic species. I also hired LK Environmental to perform professional air and tape sampling, and both tests came back positive. I ultimately had to hire another company to complete the assessment, which resulted in additional and unnecessary expense. Based on my experience, I do not feel the inspection was thorough or representative of the actual conditions in the home. I have reached out to the company regarding this and hope they will address it appropriately. read more

Very thorough and efficient inspection. I had good referrals here and wasn't disappointed. Thanks for being a part of our first home buy

Good afternoon. Spectrum Inspection Group is exceptional!!! Professional, responsive, prompt...they do what they say they're going to do!!! From the CEO throughout the organization, they have a "Servant's Heart"...they put the needs of others before their own. They are truly a pleasure and they have my highest recommendation. - Kip Carroll, Transportation Maintenance Manager read more

Amazing experience! The offered very competitive pricing, were very responsive, professional, and friendly. We got our inspection report the same day of the actual inspection. The report was thorough, and the inspector provided a verbal summary to me and my agent. In addition, the report software they use aloud for us to make a repairs list to provide to the seller, making it very clear and transparent what we were asking for. We would absolutely use this company again for future inspection needs and we highly recommend them! read more

We had Spectrum do a 4 point inspection on a home that we're selling so that we would know what to fix. Craig came on time was professional and thorough. He found a few things that we need to fix before the house is sold which helps us a lot in the process. I highly recommend this company. Lynn had great communication throughout the entire process which I really appreciate. read more

Great experience and great communication, excellent service overall! This company is a must try!

An absolutely outstanding and thorough home inspection! We appreciate the inspector's meticulous attention to detail.

Closing on a house is a pretty demanding time especially in a competitive Vegas market, but Spectrum was a pleasure to work with to get the home inspection done in a quick manner. Immediately from reaching out to them through Yelp, they were prompt and detailed, and this carried throughout the entire process. Despite reaching out to them late in the day, Spectrum was able to arrange for an inspector the very next morning. We were set up with Sean, who was not only early for his appointment, but incredibly thorough and willing to answer all questions. Despite having several other inspections to go to after ours, Sean hammered out a very detailed and helpful report that very same day. Highly recommended. read more

The inspector was very thorough and very accommodating. Even though the inspection was done on a new house, he was able to pick up stuff we certainly would've missed. We got the report within hours of the inspection so the home builder can start on the items found. read more

From the first call the Spectrum to the finished inspection report, everything was 5 Stars all the way! My appointment was made on my first call very easily and I was able to get the date I wanted. Paolo arrived right on time and was absolutely wonderful to work with. He is extremely thorough and detailed in his inspecting for our first year warranty. We received the completed inspection report the following morning and was able to get the items off to the builder for repair. Best experience we have ever had on our 4 houses we have had here in Las Vegas! Thank you very much Spectrum Inspection Group! YOU ARE AMAZING! read more

Spectrum did an amazing and comprehensive job with inspection. Special thanks to Craig, the inspector, for being so professional/nice and Lynn, the owner/operator, for the courteous follow ups. Thanks again Spectrum. read more

This company was recommended by our realtor. All the other companies I called were booked for weeks but Spectrum provided a next day appointment. They asked that I not be present at the inspection. I should have paid attention to these warning signs but we needed the inspection done quickly due to our close timeline. I received a report that was 107 pages long. I told the inspector to check for major issues because the house needed a full renovation. I received a report of minor issues but nothing major. I contacted Spectrum and Lynn sent a scripted response similar to the ones she provided to all the other one star reviews. She stated this was a full scope inspection performed in accordance with Nevada standards and that many areas of the report went beyond those standards to document safety, structural, mechanical, and maintenance issues across the home. She explained that the report was over a 100 pages and she felt it clearly labeled all areas of concern. In fairness, she also offered to go over the report with me. I should have read the reviews prior to making the appointment. I didn't engage further because it was clear that she was just going to make more excuses and tell me the report was adequate. None of her responses indicated accountability. I have purchased many homes and used several different home inspection companies in California. This is my first experience in Nevada. This report was unnecessarily 107 pages long. We spoke to three different contractors that stated the home potentially had structural issues. They also recommended replacing the roof and windows. We ultimately cancelled the sale due to the extent of needed repairs but we had to contact other professional to get the true picture of the major issues. When you pay $1,245 for an inspection, there is a certain level of expectation. Hopefully, someone reads this review and avoids making the same mistake I did. read more

My partner and I started decided to move to the Henderson area and recently got a property under contract. Our realtor gave us a list of recommended home inspection companies and we are so thankful we went with Spectrum! Immediately after reaching out for a quote (on the weekend) I got a response back asking us questions about our property and was given a fair quote for the cost of their services. Now in all honesty I reached out to ALL of the recommendations from our realtor for a quote and Spectrum was BY FAR the most professional, kind and helpful. They were able to get a technician out very quickly and the report came before 24 hours. The report itself was very detailed and truly helpful guiding us to make our best decision on the property. So much so that we found a HUGE problem with the AC in the first property we had them go look at and thanks to them were able to get dodged a HUGE $12k AC fix! read more

I used Spectrum Inspection Group to inspect my new build home. All of my interactions with them were outstanding and they did a thorough job inspecting the house. Luckily for me there were no major issues however, they did note a bunch of cosmetic issues that I was able to have the builder fix before we moved in some things that I personally may not have noticed or even thought to look for. I definitely recommend this company if you're looking for a home inspection. read more

We used this company for our home inspection, and wow! They were incredibly thorough!! I think any negative reviews on here may be from sellers who did not want certain things found haha. In all seriousness, the inspection was great. Very thorough. They have an option to go through every item and select "accept as is" or request repairs, and it creates a super simple PDF to send to you and your realtor to ask for whatever you would like. I have had several home inspections performed before, and this one outshined all the others by 10x. Thank you Spectrum! read more
