I went to Ms. Owens for one visit. I found her to be very judgmental, rude, and more concerned about making me feel bad about about my depression and condition than giving me any tools to help. I felt so bad after my initial appointment, that I cancelled my next and ended up getting another therapist in town. She made me pay my co-payment after my session, which wasn't an issue, but three months later sent a delinquent notice to my parents saying my co-pay was three months overdue. I had never received a bill to my Lawrence address saying I owed her money, not that I really did, I paid her the same day. If I were you, I would consider another therapist before trusting this woman with your mental health or money. read more
