However, in the small outskirt town of Pozuelo there exist a small Italian restaurant that, in my eyes, measures up to being truly Italian. This place is authentic in its food and decor. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in an old world authenticity. With seating both inside and outside, this place offers a venue that is warm and inviting. But, with very limited seating ensure you make a reservation. The staff is very friendly and speak English if you need some help. Both our waitress and waiter helped us decipher the menu and choose the perfect lunch entrees. My wife and I enjoyed every bite of each dish. We ordered the biscotti breadsticks, the pumpkin sauce with penne pasta, and a mushroom based sauce with egg noodles. All was exceptionally scrumptious and each dish is a shareable portion (and that's coming from an American who knows about large portions). The price was right too, by the way. For the two of us with all that food and drinks we paid €45. Overall, this is a great place.
