Late review, but trust me it's worth it. Pictures included…read more Girlfriend and I stopped in to check out this new Bar and Steakhouse. DO NOT kid yourselves, this is high quality dining at local, reasonable prices. We ordered the herbed chicken and a half rack of ribs and the spicy garlic butter prawns. We asked our fantastic server if the chef could split our order into 2 plates. She runs away and comes back in 2 minutes saying the chef would love to do that for us. Awesome! We're happy. I just kind of expected 2 bar style plates with our food lumped onto it. OMG! Was I blown away! The plating was what you would expect in a high end restaurant, not a Bar and Grill! The Keg, Chop, etc, beware. This hot new Steakhouse just might have your number. Our chicken was cooked to perfection, while being one of the juiciest chicken dishes I've ever had. The only thing keeping the chicken together was the perfect Grill marks! I'm saying this was superior chef skills. Veggies, perfectly grilled and just a touch crunchy. Perfect! Mashed potatoes, were amazing. Perfect garlic flavor. Just a touch on the cool side, so that's my only critique. However the hot gravy on the side solved that pretty quick. The prawns were still hot, perfect texture and the spice was exactly what it promised, spicy and garlic, without being too spicy. Brought out the depths of the sweetness of the prawns beautifully. Ribs! I almost forgot the ribs. Lol. Juicy, very well cooked with a nice sweet BBQ sauce. A touch fatty, but I like mine well done and forgot to ask. Otherwise, amazing. Dessert, White Chocolate Brownie. Sadly it fell victim to our spoons as soon as it hit the table, but I managed 2 pictures before it's demise. Think of a brownie, then add coconut, then add ice cream, with a pinch of WTF was that awesomeness and multiply that by 100! With an expertly drizzled combination of chocolate and white chocolate sauce on the plate. I wish you could have eaten it! All in all, absolutely, 100%, recommend this place to anyone looking for an amazing meal. Hands down, you will not be disappointed.

The food has been amazing every single time we have gone. At first it seems like just a random pub, but the quality of food is amazing. We have had steak, ribs, chicken, and many apps and desserts, and every single thing comes out cooked to perfection. Keep it up Tag!!

My family decided to head out early on a Saturday to take advantage of their $5 breakfast which ends at 11 a.m. This restaurant is a quiet, very casual and large dining area which could accommodate lots of people. Most people there were having the Wakie Brekkie for $5 but you need to show them your casino Players Club card to get that price. The plate was a decent size however, the toast was cold with barely any butter on it so we had to ask for more butter. The eggs were getting cold too but the potato medallions were good. Service was okay, many servers were working. Another part of the restaurant is where the off-track betting tv's are and there is also seating in this area. I glanced at the menu during the afternoon and it seemed like there was a nice variety of entrees available, some were Asian dishes. Next to the restaurant is the bar where you can walk up to order a drink. There is complimentary ice water, some dispensers had lemon and cucumbers in it so very refreshing! They have different alcoholic drinks so check out the menus, take a break from your gambling and enjoy!

I'm not really one for the bar scene. Even less so for bars in small towns (I know Camrose is…read moreTECHNICALLY a city, but not to somebody who's lived long periods in dense areas of Calgary).... so when I walk into a bar at 8pm, I don't expect it to be PACKED, but I do expect there to be SOME business... and more over, I expect there to be some staff providing actual service. When I came in with my two brothers and our dad we were one of only 2 groups there: the other being a group of 6 or 8 people at a cluster of table pressed right up against the end of the bar. The bartender (the only staff on at the time) seemed to know them, and basically spent the entire time we were there standing at their table talking with them. We walked over to the pool table, which is in plain sight from where she was standing and proceeded to shoot an entire game without ONCE being approached, or even called out to... finally, my Dad had to go over and point out that we'd been completely neglected this whole time and retrieve our drinks from the bar (which, I don't know how this place works, but that would never be the case in the city - with an almost empty bar like this they should be able to easily make a round now and then). Over the course of the 3 or so hours we were there, that group left and another smaller and younger group showed up, setting up camp not far from us, and still there was no service in our area save for one brief appearance. I can't imagine what had her so busy all that time. I'm giving this place a second star because the building itself was very well kept, the pool table was in good condition - everything NOT related to service was perfectly fine... nothing to write home about, but fine. The service on the other hand was pretty terrible, and the lack of business at that time of night was completely confusing... until I talked to a friend who's a local, and I was told that at the time we were there (8 to about 10:30) is when "people are at home, drinking for cheaper. They don't start to get busy until later when all the pre-drinkers show up." Yeah... not exactly my kind of place.
