First time I have eaten here. Had the fish and chips. Excellent! The only thing missing was malt vinegar.

Come on a special night & find unlimited garlic shrimp, baby back ribs or sausage! (The steaks are not all you can eat, but everything else on the line is!) This blast from the past is like walking into a saloon in an old Western, with tons of nostalgia adorning the walls. The buffet lines are kept constantly full and clean and even the food choices feel like a retro potluck. Don't let the casual experience fool you, these are fine dining quality steaks without the pricetag. Two seatings, an early one with a 2 hour limit or a later one that leads into a karaoke evening. Think church social meets family reunion meets country bar. It's such a unique and fun night and an absolute gem in the province. Something I feel is important to address: small, rural towns can sometimes feel uncomfortable to outsiders on whether it is a safe space. I can say that we've been going for years and have never been made to feel like we don't belong. Staff & patrons have always been friendly and welcoming. Check their website for upcoming dates & call to make reservations (they sell out often, you definitely need rezys) Note: they are a minors prohibited establishment.

Food was good took an hour to get meals and not a busy this evening so not sure what is happening…read moreagain ? Asked why the people beside us received their meal before we did . Was told it is taking longer because we ordered Bruschetta bread as an appetizer our meals are taking more time . Yet the people came after we ordered our appetizer at least 15 minutes after. This is not the first time this happens in a week couple a days prior we went and were told no seating available yet there was more empty seats then people sitting and eating? Asked why? Was told too many people in groups showed up and kitchen cannot keep up with their orders. Funny thing is I have been at this location many times when I have had to wait as it was full and never was I turned away ? So something wasn't right with the excuse I was given this turn around . Anyways will be taking a break from this location as it was a real joke the last two visits. Told the girl I could come back a day due to seating issues. She said we can try but there's no guarantee. We went back that night at 8:30 and we're able to be seated. We travel from out of town for this location only now we're gonna have to find one closer that doesn't treat their patron like this.

Spinach dip was teeny and my burger was actually kinda bad. The bun was hard as a rock and super chewy. Next time I'll try a steak as I think that's their specialty.

The service is always great! Jordan, the manager, and Trina, our server, were so attentive! And we can't forget Harry the bartender. Our drinks were so good. Sat on the patio and it was a surprise heat wave and the umbrellas were still in storage. It's a hot one but oh so nice to be outside! Bring a hat and check the chairs before sitting in shorts! Served by Amanda today and she was impeccable. Knew exactly what we needed and when - water pitcher on the table and refills. Checked on us just enough to keep everyone looked after. The honey toast was the popular item at the table today ... loaded brioche with strawberries, syrup, and sweet topping. Everyone was pleased. Also a Juicy Lucifer - huge patty! Much squishing to fit in the toothy human. The chips were crisp and popular theft item at the table. We should have ordered an extra side serving! The celiac (me) has the special brunch item - croque madame with gf toast and hollandaise sauce and hash browns on the side! What a feast that was! Got a take-away to go. Gf bread is available to modify dishes that can be adapted. We had waters and lemonade to drink and the lemonade was really tasty! Would recommend. The photo of carpaccio was from our previous visit - not sure it's on the menu any longer but it was also fabulous! I might post a photo someone took of the honey toast if they share with me!

Atlas Steak + Fish - Happy hour for $94

Atlas Steak + Fish

This was my first visit to this Atlas Steak + fish location, but I've to the location in Kamloops…read morebefore, and that was a good experience. This visit was not. It was Mother's Day, but we had a reservation for an early dinner. We arrived on time, but despite having a reservation, we still had to 5-10 min for a table to be cleared and ready. From what I could tell, the restaurant was only half full, but not fully staffed. Much like the location in Kamloops, this look like a high-end steakhouse. The kids were impressed with mist covered entrance. Once seated we got our menus. It took a while for our server to come by, but as mentioned, they looked understaffed. The first thing she asked is if we want sparkling or still water. We chose still, only realizing later it was Evian water, not tap water. This was a common practice in fine dining restaurants decades ago, but I think the industry realized that it made feel customers cheated and so I haven't seen this for awhile. I feel it's the roughly the equivalent of being asked to tip for everything now - customers are feeling bad being forced to say no, and feels like a poor business practice. After taking our orders, we were served the complimentary bread. It looked good, but the moment I started to tear it apart, I could immediately tell it was not fresh. The outside was a hard dried-out shell, and the inside was barely warm - like it was sitting under a hot lamp for too long. The kids at the table also mentioned that it's not as good as they remember. We mentioned it to the server, and she thanked us for the feedback. I tried the following: - Prime Rib - Mixed review. The prime rib itself was good. I asked for medium rare, and that's exactly what I got. But It wasn't freshly carved, so it was luke-warm at best. Yorkshire pudding was hard and cold. The potato and kale/spinach pure were fine. The red wine jus had completely congealed. I forgot what it was, so when the plate was placed in front of me, it look like BBQ sauce, and not red wine jus. - New York Striploin - Not good. We asked for medium rare. It was clearly medium - and ended up dried out. I informed the server, and she was willing to replace, but I also encourage my family not to waste food, so we kept it, even if not at it's best. - Truffle & Parmesan Fries - Good. Very large portion size, so couldn't finish it. Service was spotty. Server was nice enough, but just didn't really have the tools or energy to help us with our problems. When we complained about the striploin, she did offer free dessert, but it was a big steak, and we were too full to take it. So what does that mean? I had to pay for still water, cold bread, cold prime rib, overcooked sirloin - at full price. I admit that the overcooked sirloin could have been fixed with a replacement and/or free dessert, but I don't think it would've made up for the entire visit. A place like Atlas aims to provide an ultimate dining experience, and once a mistake is made, it's an uphill battle to recover, and it certainly didn't here. I would have doubts coming back to this location, and possibly other locations too.

If you are a wealthy, cigar smoking, alpha male with more money than you can spend, and need to impress your out-of-town relatives from the country what a big deal you are, bring them here and spend enough to pay a house less person's rent for a month. The staff were being trained and we were asked at least twice if we were here for a special occasion. We were. It was a birthday we told them twice. But no recognition or comp appeared at any time in our visit. The room was not cosy or comfortable. The space was cathedral and smoky. I felt exposed and uncomfortable in the space. It's a good place to bring a crowd if you are in the category of person listed above and have no interest in how your food tastes.

Zambelli - Melt in your mouth cheese cake, we shared one slice and it was perfect.

The lasagna and chicken tenders were good but my fusilli was very bland and while hubby's chicken souvlaki was okay, the rice was cold and hard. We asked for a side of hot rice, which came piping hot, but as soon as it started to cool down, it too became hard and chewy. Out server was pleasant and it probably wasn't her fault for the appetizers coming out late. We came just before dinner and the restaurant was getting a little noisy by the time we left. We did not order dessert and we will not be back.

We were seated immediately at a table for four. My brother is a regular customer here, he has very high standards, so I knew we were in for a treat. Zambelli's was quite busy, but we received outstanding and quality service by Edna our server. The food was brought out in good time and Edna kept us smiling with her good natured mannerism and lighthearted humor. We had wine and our Mom enjoyed a Pina Colada, these refreshments complimented our meal. We shared perogies as a starter, I would have the perogies as a meal sometime. We also shared a serving of Caesar salad which was garlicky, with an appropriate ratio of dressing and croutons. I had spaghetti with meat sauce, the meat sauce was flavorful and spicy. Our Dad, Mom and Brother had the fish special with rice and chips. We shared two slices of cheese cake divided into four. All the portions were huge. There is enough for a second meal the next day. The restaurant is clean, decorated nicely, is spacious with good lighting. The bathroom is also clean. Thank you to Claude, Edna and Zambelli's in Leduc for the best experience and helping to make our parents anniversary special and memorable refreshments complimented our meal
