The food was good, but the service was some of the worst I've experienced. Our server, Peyton, took roughly 20 minutes to bring our drinks despite the restaurant being nearly empty. In fact, our appetizer arrived before we ever received our drinks, which was surprising and frustrating. She was frequently nowhere to be found, and we spent much of the meal waiting for basic service. The kitchen did its job, and the food was enjoyable, but the front-of-house experience left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, the poor service overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable meal. read more

Sports bar with decent food. Friendly atmosphere. I had a fish taco that was very good. They were accommodating to our large group. The fried mushrooms were crisp on the outside and juicy inside with a good dipping sauce. Reasonably priced mixed drinks with a healthy pour. Will definitely come back. read more

Where do I start.....Do not go here! First, sketchy crowd. Lots of beer gut, backwards hat, pony tail beard looking dudes. Oh, and all dudes. Do not bring your wives or daughters. Second, rude and inattentive wait staff. Pro tip...don't ask your waitress any questions. They will snarl at you and look at you like you have two heads. You will likely receive your appetizers before any silverware or plates. By the time they bring 3 plates for a table of 6, the appetizers are gone....thanks. Ask the person that brought the appetizers if you can have some plates and silverware and she will never bring them. Apparently not in her job description. Also, make sure you have plenty of time available because it will take over an hour for a few burgers. And actually it's been an hour and still don't have food. No apology or comped appetizer from the wait staff, just keeps asking if we need anything. Duh, how about our food. Finally the food comes out and the ignorant waitress doesn't even know which burgers she has or who they go to. On a positive note, the food wasn't terrible. 2 hours of my life I won't get back. Avoid at all costs. read more

Worst wings in bowling green. They say fresh but when you're chewing in rubber they were frozen. Staff is good but the food need to come up

My server kiki was extremely disrespectfu, when I had asked for a simple request. I have gone here numerous times and never have I ever experienced such horrible customer service. I will not be coming back if she is still employed at this destination. Do better. read more

Came here with a large group for dinner and drinks. Overtime looks nice at first, but it didn't really live up to my expectations. On the inside, it's got your typical sports bar feel, similar-looking to a Buffalo Wild Wings. The main reason we came here was for fish bowls-One of our favorite cocktails that is hard to find at most restaurants/bars. Once we order they mentioned they didn't have the actual fish-bowls, so they cut a few dollars off the price and put the drinks in a regular glass. It's fine, but I was pretty sad about that. I got the Opposites Attract, which is wonderful and similar to a Shirley Temple. Sports bars are usually one of my favorite types of places to get food, but OT's was just average. I got the spicy fried chicken sandwich and it was a little underwhelming. Not bad, but I expected a little more from it. Also, a server came up and took my plate before I was even finished eating! I had turned my head for one minute to look back and see her walking back in the kitchen with the rest of my plate... I wouldn't mind coming back here again, but it's not a place I'd be dying to come back to. read more

In town visiting family and was suggested for the pizza. The hand tossed meat pizza was pretty good, the service was not. Having been a server for numerous years I was highly disappointed when I failed to receive the appetizer I ordered before my pizza came out, mentioned to the runner that I no longer wished to receive the appetizer I ordered since I had already gotten my pizza, she apologized and delivered our pizza, with no plates or napkins. It took wayyy to long for our server to bring us plates and utensils to eat our pizza with, at which time drinks were ordered by me and my significant other. No apology was given for the appetizer ordered and not received. We then waited for 15-20 min for the drink ordered with our pizza. Who wants to eat pizza with nothing to drink? I understand places get busy and servers don't always have an easy job, but we seen the servers at the 2 tables next to us more than we seen Kayla, next time I'd request any other server. read more

Got to come watch the UFC fights for free!! Because nobody ever came to take our order the entire time.

We come here at least a couple of times a week and it's usually great. Sitting here today and no one waited in us.....several waitresses in booth at the back. Got up and moved to the bar and it took about 8 minutes to get someone to take our drink order. There are about 15 people in the entire bar including my husband and I. Probably won't keep us from coming back but the service has never been this bad. read more

Bar food. Not fancy and not very tasty. It's pretty hard to mess up bar food however the menu and choices and flavor were nothing to make me want to come back again. Server was super nice. Place wasn't dirty but wasn't clean either. There is room for a lot of improvement with this place. read more

I can't believe a manager can not make a decision to please a customer For something so simple as changing 5 pc wings to a 10pc(only a $1 difference). I'm sure it's coming from top management(Can't imagine Owner Brian has a clue how management is treating customers). Building sales is about satisfying customers, which bleeds to your Team. I can't imagine that you're hitting the projected targets, especially with this mind set of what I just have experienced the last 3 visits(new customer). read more

I've been coming to OT for many years now and it's always been great. Idk why people are complaining about people being drunk and loud at a sports BAR. Personally, i'm glad more families are avoiding this place. Nothing worse than screaming kids in an adult themed restaurant. There's a Cheddars right down the road with the same food for your kids. Leave overtime to the adults who want to have fun. Not many places left in Bowling Green to do that. read more

Overtime is a locally owned and operated sports bar that has many televisions and pool tables. It serves the usual kind of food that one would find in such an establishment in that it serves an assortment of appetizers, a variety of pizzas, oven baked sandwiches, and of course domestic and import beers. On almost every evening there is some type of dedicated food and/or beer special running during certain hours in the evening. Happy hour info can be found by visiting their web site http://www.overtimebg.com and they have half price appetizers after 10 p.m. except on nights when there is an Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bout. (Ask them why upon visiting and they will explain this phenomenon). The food at the place is very good and is of a wide selection ranging from entrees like steak, ribs, and fish to oven baked sandwiches and various style chicken wraps. If one is in the mood for a single topping or specialty pizza or simply wants a light salad then they have that too. The staff is very friendly and goes all out to make sure one's dining experience enjoyable. Other notes- Additional parking can be found in the rear of the complex on the gravel lot behind the insurance building. Most importantly, if one is in traveling through town and needs a place to play the NTN Buzztime trivia then this is one of only two places in town that provides the service. read more

Great food and excellent service at this location. I had the burger and fries and it was very good!!

We had dinner and played their trivia game that is played every Monday night. Game was fun... we were last in points, but had a great time. The food was mediocre, no stand outs that I would go back for. I had the calzone, which was ok. One friend had fettuccine, which she also used "ok" to describe. Another friend had a grilled chicken salad which she used "good" to describe. So.. to sum up... food was ok, nothing great. We would probably go back for trivia night, but not any other night. Just a note to management the waitress uniforms are hideous and very unflattering for most of your waitresses... you should so rethink those!!! read more

Overtime - Horrible food - Sports Bars Near Me - Bowling Green, Kentucky

Made the mistake of coming here for outdoor dining with my family. This area has several sports bars that offer a clean atmosphere for families. This was my first visit & I will never go back. Vulgar language & drunks sitting in outdoor dining area that made me very uncomfortable. I asked for my food to go & explained to the waitress my reason for leaving. Takeout was okay, typical for sports bar. However the manager passed me standing solo in the restaurant with no greeting or even a simple "How can I help you" as the tubs of alcohol continued to be brought over to the table of obvious drunkards getting very loud. Take it from me...this is no family atmosphere even on the patio. read more

Overtime Bar and Grill is a descent place to grab a drink with friends, get some quality bar grub, or watch a game. It gets smokey on weekends and when they're busy to the point that the waitress was complaining about it, and she was a smoker. But for bar food the food is really pretty good and decently priced. I've had the beer battered mini shrimp and the buffalo chicken wrap. Both are very good. The shrimp and crispy and the batter is good without being too heavy. The buffalo chicken wrap was a good sized portion and I like that you can pick from about 7 sides including broccoli or fries, depending on your mood and desire to add some healthier food to your meal. The chicken on the wrap was crispy, and the buffalo sauce is good without being burn your mouth hot. They have tons of televisions to watch and bags on the porch if you like to play. the service is so-so. I've had excellent waitresses and waitresses that are not great at all. It's really hit or miss. But more often that not there has been good service. Again, a good place to grab a drink with pals, watch a game, or they even have UFC pay-per-view fights. Good food that isn't too expensive and ok service. I'll be back, the place is good enough for an occasional stop-in. read more

Love the ribs!! Best in Bowling Green. Plus the atmosphere is very lively. Just a great place to eat. Love the online ordering also.

Awful service. After 45 minutes of waiting, I was told that my order was not put in. I then asked to speak to a manager, who informed me that it must have been my mistake. He offered no compensation and no apologies for the inconvenience. Terrible experience. read more

I was highly disappointed in the way this restaurant is run. Poor managment and very un pleasing staff. Went on my lunch break here and the food was not as good as I would have thought. This place used to be my favorite restaurant. Since February, this place started going downhill. The new waitresses aren't good, they stand around and talk and look at their phones. They don't write orders down and it takes longer to get our food. The food is still good, but the waitresses need to get it together. Quit talking for 10 minutes and do your @$@?ing job ASAP. This place needs to get it together immediately. read more

I wouldn't suggest to work here , but food is great . I was done wrong the entire time i worked here when i was bullied by coworkers they didn't believe me and gave me more hell then the person bullying me because they didn't believe that person would do that , other girls could get away with everything , but i would show up on time and work my hardest and they would treat me like shit the entire time . Mangers could be all professional when Brian the owner came to overtime but couldn't be professional when he left . I got yelled at for going to the bathroom too much because i have a digestive problem , devin told me once he wasn't going to allow me to go to the bathroom 8 times a night . I got yelled at for everything , girl could walk out and leave Anytime and leave the chores For me and closing and they would allow them back . After i just left , they tried to call the police on me over a 10$ ticket in which i got tipped 6$ because i forgot i had it on me . Pretty much if your ghetto and have a bad attitude they want you !! If your nice they try to run over u , too bad i didn't have such tough skin . But i will say as a manager you shouldn't put your personal opinion of someone you don't like into the daily work life that is not appropriate . Also we are not in the streets we are grown , and that means when i go to you with a issue you don't make me feel like crap because it's "too much drama". Even the regulars know they scared another hard working person off . Next time don't pick on me , or make me do dumb jobs thAt no other girl has to do exsept me , or make me feel like crap when coming to you professionally , i just realized i will not take this no more it just hit me . I worked at jobs for two years and this job i had to push to make it a couple months. But now I'm not allowed back and i think it's funny. I have so much crap i could talk about this place but i will stop . Neal was a good manager though ! And fried Oreos were good ! read more

If this was just about the food I'd give them 4 stars. The service though was horrible. Waitress didn't come to our table for nearly an hour after dropping the food off. Never got a refill on our drinks, never checked to see if everything was made correctly, nothing. read more

Here now on a Saturday night. Dead! Sitting on patio, ordered 2 beers and waited. . and waited. . .and waited! Another couple than came in, another waitress took their order and Bam! they had their drinks and we are still waiting. Finally got the stinkin' beers and finished those and again, we wait . . .and wait. . .and wait. She finally shows up with bill (cause she's leaving) and when we order 2 more, it's back to the wait game. Sheesh!!! Husband sick of waiting so goes in search of help. Young ponytail girl says she'll take care of it. Nuthin! Finally shows with the 2 beers, we give her our credit card and. . .yep, you knew this was coming. After about 15 min. husband visits restroom, and admonishes me to keep a look out, as she stll has our credit card. . .Good God, will the pain never end?? One other irritation: asked another waitress if she could switch one of the tv's to trivia and as she looked at the 4 screens and the one with keno, she seemed a tad confused. Now granted, there was my husband and I, and over at the end of the patio, a group playing cornhole, so I can understand not wanting to switch when someone is watching. . but come on honey, NO One is watching those 4 tv's that are playing the same thing. Finally one gets changed and now neither of our phones will connect to it. Never offered a game player. Crap, what a waste of my Saturday. Our stellar waitress was Beoncis (sp) as much as I could read from the bill. She was sweet, very quiet, and sorry, totally inept as a waitress. Won't say I won't be back. because other waitresses seemed to be checking their customers all the time, but I don't like feeling I'm in "no-mans land" and paying for the "privelige". PLEASE, train that girl. . read more

Overtime is a great place to watch a ball game. The food is as good or better than the average sports bar and the service is average (they are busy). There's a good variety from sandwiches and burgers to steak, chicken and fish, as well as a nice selection of appetizers. Huge tvs and a lot of mid-size high def tvs. The drawbacks are its loud so if you are looking for a quiet place to eat with your significant other this is probably not the place. Went to Overtime last night(10/26/17) with my family. After promptly being seated we got a server who wasn't even working in our section, since the other one was no where to be seen. Two of my kids had boneless wings and I had chicken Alfredo. We all woke up today feeling horrible. It really hit the kids after school. I did a courtesy call just to let them know they may need to check their chicken. I wasn't expecting anything in return or even my money back, but Brian the GM, was unapologetic!! He didn't do anything but try to make it seem as if they weren't at fault at all!! He was rude and didn't seem to be listening to me at all.
