My home's AC completely stopped working last night. I called Chason at 8am, and one of their technicians, Steve, arrived just after 11am. He was friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. He took the time to explain everything he was doing, and I learned a lot about the cooling system that I didn't know before. To sum it up, it was top-notch service at a fair price. You really can't beat the quality of small, family-owned businesses. It's no surprise they've been in business for 75 years. The next time I need service, I won't hesitate to call Chason. I can also confidently say they'll be my first recommendation to any friends/family that require work. Thank you Steve!

The estimator, Mark, was wonderful and talked me through the work and then two techs (Chris and someone else whose name I'm forgetting) showed up promptly the day of the work and completed the job without any drywall damage (which I was actually anticipating given that they had to run a wire). Chris and the other tech were very friendly and professional and kept me updated the whole time. Compared to the two other companies I received estimates from, Milton was communicative, competitive in terms of pricing, willing to address all my questions, and high quality in their work. I will definitely use Milton again!

Helping my mother get some electrical work completed at her home. Interviewed 4 local companies…read more The interviewing went from one extreme to the other. One group was super shifty and we believe were on drugs, another rep visited wanted to shoot the breeze and BS about everything but the work he came out to survey. We also had a bigger name reputable company visit. Their rep was very knowledgeable and competent, but pricing was extremely high, the contract was also not itemized per service, but only provided an arbitrary flat total price for everything. Nonetheless we ended up selecting the big name company however to get the price down we chose to omit certain services and asked the rep to remove those items and send a revised contract with the new price. The rep refused to update our contract and said he would revise later after he came back to do the work. In my opinion not an honest practice to force a customer into business with you so you can arbitrarily update the number later. Should've seen that coming with their first contract. Frustrated we cancelled the big name, searched again and found Milton Electric. Was quoted an hourly rate plus parts over the phone. Their electrician Patrick arrived on time, was polite, friendly and professional. The quality of the work and approach was simpler and leaner than all the other companies and the final price far more reasonable. Could not be happier. Will be using Milton again in the future. Highly recommend.

I recently had an inverter fault and sent them an email asking to have a technician come out. Since it was 7 years later I really didn't even expect them to be in business let alone very responsive, but they happily proved me wrong by sending someone out the very next day to look at it! That's insanely good lifetime customer service that really deserves to be recognized. There aren't many companies out there providing that level of support, I would certainly go with them again for any project I had.

The project manager I worked with is very knowledgeable and detailed. He discussed conduit runs to ensure it was aesthetically appealing and necessary components that need to be installed in order to pass county building codes. The project manager always returned my calls for any questions in a timely fashion, and their administrative team is very helpful for filing all necessary paperwork so that permits and tax incentives are filed in a timely fashion. Overall, Solar Gaines has been a great company to work with from project design, installation, to commissioning.

We opted for the micro-inverters so we can see how much power each of the panels is producing as well as the cumulative total. In addition to the savings on our electric bill, we receive about $960 from SRECs, green energy credits, a year. Plus there's a large boost in our home's equity. We called the…read morecompany that typically services our A/C (yes, this wasn't the first or second or third time our A/C had stopped working in the two years we've owned our home) and they didn't call or text us back. Since we couldn't wait around too long my wife gave Future Tech a call based on recommendations she found on Nextdoor. Scott and his crew came out right away and assessed our situation. They said we would need a new system. They quoted us for a new Bosch system that had both A/C and a heat pump. While originally seeming a bit pricey, the unit came with a $2,000 rebate and $2,000 tax credit. We accepted the offer and were scheduled to have it installed the next week. A few days later Scott called and told us he had convinced another couple that had a system that was currently working (they were looking to upgrade) to allow us to go first since we had young kids and no air. They agreed and our A/C install happened much sooner than it was initially scheduled. That NEVER happens! The duct work and A/C install was completed in a day. Around 7 at night, when everything was done, Scott took me out and showed me the system and explained what he did, what I need to know and what I should keep an eye on with it. After that we talked about the Eagles and Ravens. Then we shook hands and he headed home. Since the install, I have noticed a huge difference in the amount the A/C runs (our old system seemed to be constantly going) and how cool our house stays. On top of that, despite keeping the house three to four degrees cooler than we did with our old system, our electric bills have been much lower than with the previous unit.
