And yes, Andrew , you're correct.You definitely did not sell it to me because I would have been smart enough to send you packing. But I sure have to deal with the consequences.I sure have to deal with a $23000 Solar System that has been broken and has not worked eighty percent of the time since it's been installed. I am not making this up. When the system works, it did save money. But in all the years that we have had this system , it has been mostly down. I made the mistake of calling them to send a repair crew out who pretended not to speak English.Simply slapped me with a $400 bill refused to give me receipt.And needless to say , the system still wasn't working when they left. I, beg anyone who is interested in solar energy to go with any company.But renewable energy , there are plenty of honest companies who actually have integrity , and we'll save you , lots of money , renewable is not one of them. In fact , it makes me so sick at this point I am going to scrap their system and just invest in a whole new one rather than have to deal with these scum. At this point , it is too late for me to salvage this , but hopefully I can spare someone else the same experience. So my guess would be that if someone did a job now, they would make sure the customer was happy (versus ghosting them like in my case in the past); and 2) I have no ongoing complaints about the work. Our house does appear to be better insulated (I.e., energy costs are lower in the summer and winter) and we haven't had any additional leaks or other issues.

A salesman came and told us that we could pay off our 25 year solar loan in 8 years if we put all…read moreincentives back into the loan. This was the first untruth. We have to put all incentives (federal, state, etc.) plus make an additional $100 monthly payment, to pay off the loan in 11 years. Also, the biggest issue is that the salesman said that we would only have a BGE bill a few times per year (during the colder months) of about $50 per bill based on the usage that he saw on our BGE bills. This was HORRIBLY inaccurate. We have had 2 bills of $9.43, but to date (since April of 2024), we have paid more than $1300 to BGE, plus the monthly loan payment. It should be noted that we have lowered our thermostat, and for two weeks at the end of October/early November, no one was home during the day. When we pointed out that the bills were not what we were told, a man at the company said that he would look at adding four additional panels free of charge, but he wanted us to wait a year. In the mean time, the high bills continued. He came to our house and performed an energy assessment and changed a setting in our hot water heater; everything else was fine. I insisted on the panels but two were defective; they replaced them. Even with the two additional panels, our most recent BGE bill is almost $500. I have repeatedly reached out to them for help to try to get what was promised, but they have refused to make any of this right.
