Our garage door was running really slowly. Overhead door came out and inspected it and told us we needed a new garage door opener because this one was going to go in the very near future, which we already knew. They replaced it on the spot very quickly and re-coded everything including the remote button in our car. read more

The motor for our garage door stopped working. After receiving a couple of suggestions on whom to call, I contacted Overhead Door. Mariska was professional and easy to speak with. I explained what we thought the problem was and she informed me a tech could come the next day. She advised she'd call later and let me know the approximate time the tech would be out, which she did. The next day Bryce called an informed me he was on his way to our home and showed up within the time he said. I appreciate punctuality and communication, which I received working with Overhead Door. Bryce was able to figure out the issue and he had the equipment on his truck to fix it. I felt the cost was reasonable and the customer service was good! read more

My garage door was acting up. Loud, noisy, and the door was intertittently stopping on the way up and down. Not only did the technician show up ON A FATHER'S DAY SUNDAY, on time, but fixed my issue within just a few minutes. I'm thrilled with the results. read more

Overhead Door originally installed my garage door approximately five years ago. When it failed a week ago I called and a technician came out, assessed the problem and replaced a circuit board in the motor unit. Unfortunately, that did not fix the problem and a day later the unit failed again. A tech came out the same day I called and replaced the entire motor unit, and now the door works perfectly again. Quality work done quickly. Thanks, Overhead. read more

We have used this company before and wouldn't use any other. They respond to calls promptly and assess the urgency of the call. Their representative arrived for a Saturday appointment, was respectfully masked and socially distanced, pleasant, and diagnosed the garage door problem within minutes. Within the next half hour the problem was repaired with our door working perfectly. These people are great at what they do. read more

Technicians arrived on time and got to work. They seem well experienced. Two areas for improvement is they did not do a very thorough job of cleaning up and left screws and various sundries on the floor of the garage. Other area of improvement is service after the install. It is reasonable to think adjustments might be required, however shouldn't take 3 phone calls to make that happen. As a customer it should be transparent, one call and I should not worry about did I talk with someone in installation versus service. read more

Brandon was the tech who showed up to take care of our older garage door installation. I was totally expecting to have to do an all new installation. The existing opener was horribly loud and little about the installation was working well. In about 45 minutes Brandon was able to get the existing unit running smoothly, with a new outdoor coded entry device, a new inside control switch/light switch/electric lockout combo unit and new light bulbs. All for a fraction of what a new opener would have cost me - oh, and per my request he supplied and programmed a new remote for the unit as well. Very personable, professional and conscientious. I highly recommend Overhead Door, and I highly commend Brandon for his excellent service! read more

I had no trouble reaching the office and arranging for service for the garage door. The service came promptly at the time specified and had our door working smoothly and quietly again. read more

I selected Overhead Door to install my new garage door over less expensive options based on several friends who've used them and had good experiences. They did the work on time and exactly as promised and the finished result was fantastic. It does take a long time to get the door, but this is the case with any custom product these days. Every time I called for status, they knew exactly what was going on and either answered the phone or returned messages promptly. Add me to the list of happy customers. read more

Great service! Great communication! No up-selling. Highly recommend!

Great service,on time, personable & professional. Would definitely refer business to friends and neighbors.

Overhead Door technician was very professional and efficient. He was on-time, receptive, and helpful in changing out the old door opener and programming all remotes. A follow-up call to inform me on the install and any potential issues that might arise in the future. They are definitely a business that I will be calling back if I have any issues in the future...A MUST USE business. read more

We were revising our front with new garage door, pavers and landscaping. Overhead Door removed our 20+yo two-car garage door and replaced with a rusted version, new side rails, spring, etc. The installation was tidy and sanitary AND quick. And the price they charged was very reasonable. I was still using my old motor and screw rail so there was some noise and closing was a tad too hard. A few weeks later Overhead Door sent out Zachery and he fine-tuned the system. Zac was extremely polite, knowledgeable and was patient with my inane questions. He explained to me that my motor is at the end of it's life and the new belt replacement system will be silent. We will wait and see/ hear for that replacement. I will surely call Overhead Door to return and replace my old motor. We have received many compliments and are quite pleased with Overhead door. read more

We were really happy with the service we received from Overhead Door Co of Tucson. They were recommended to us by a friend and we see why. They were professional and timely. They provided us with a quote and stuck to it. The repair guy was knowledgable. We would call them again if we had problems in the future. read more

Exceeded expectations. Overhead Door added two roll-down doors to my carport so I could make a real garage. The price was competitive with 2 other contractors and I chose them because I felt that JR was a straight shooter. The doors were delivered and installed on schedule, as promised. The doors have been in place for a year now. They still look great and they work just the same as they did on day one. I needed a minor repair last week, and JR took care of it. No problem. (word to the wise - make sure you don't accidentally close any pack rates inside your garage. They'll chew their way out) Highly recommend! read more

Overhead Door - One full year after installation and they look BETTER than they did new. Overhead Door rocks. - Garage Door Services Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

Called Overhead Door as a second call to get our garage door repaired as our normal service company could not come out for 2 days. I was pleasantly surprised as to Overhead's ability to come out same day and have the cable reattached and adjusted the spring to proper tension. 30 mins total time, and a verbal quote for the correct size spring when the existing one goes. Nice tech who contacted us 20 mins out and charged us for just the service call. You can bet Overhead Door will be first on our list next time! read more

Fast reliable and nice. Came out on time and repaired everything. Performed tune up on spring tensions and door operations. Thanks overhead Door Company. The price was very fair. I will recommend them to my friends. read more

I had to find a new company to service my garage doors after my previous company went out of business. Overhead Door Company seemed to have great reviews, so I called. I was very pleased with their prompt and polite service. I needed a new set of springs for a 12-year-old door, and the technician had the new set up and running in about an hour. I would recommend the Overhead Door Company, and it will be my first call next time. read more

Had a Garage Door that was acting up (would not close in early morning, when weather was cold). Called Overhead Door and scheduled an appointment to come out. Tech Zachary showed up on time, and was very professional and courteous. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. He also did a 20 point inspection and lubricated necessary parts. Overhead Door originally installed Garage Door years ago, and have come out once or twice, for minor issues over the years. Very Happy with the Customer Service from Overhead Door ! Excellent !!!!!! read more

The repair person was friendly, all masked up and highly professional. He fixed the problem I had called about but then examined other parts of our garage door and tweaked and tightened them. I was charged for just the service call and not for any of the extra work he did. I am more than satisfied with Overhead Door. Will continue to use them when needed. read more

Overhead Door Company of Tucson This company I highly recommend. I love my quiet, dependable garage door and opener that I had installed by them. Their service is top notch. I cannot recommend any other outfit for automatic garage door installation and service as I can ODC of Tucson. Giv 'em a call. You will be glad you did! read more

I never had a problem with my garage door before I called Overhead. I was a little concerned as of what the condition of the door and spring did when we realized it was not opening. I called Overhead after reading some reviews and I was glad I gave them a call. Incouldnt believe how quickly they were able to show. Brandon was the technician and did an awesome job explaining the issue and my options. We went with the most affordable which he recommended anyway. He had the spring and door put back together in a Jiff. Very friendly technician and staff. Thank you for making a stressful moment at ease. read more

Great service. Brandon showed up on time - rare for Tucson service providers - inspected and recommended what I was after. He provided way too much info than I cared for, but at the end of the day, having what I was after, professionally installed and with warranty, was worth listening to the details about the motor, cables, springs and the door alignment. I used Overhead Door in the past for a different house, so it was not an issue calling them back. People miss the difference between cost and value. For me, it was well worth the investment. read more

I've been using Overhead Door for at least 10 years and always been very pleased with the service, the techs, and the scheduling. Had a broken spring on one of the doors the other day. Megan was able to schedule same day. Sam came out on time, called when he was 10 mins out, was very professional, nice, and did a great job. Was fixed and running in no time. I've used them about 5 times over the years, and will keep using them due to the great service! read more

Process was easy. Fair pricing. Customer service was good. Their lead time was much shorter than the other quotes I got. No complaints!

Incidentally, I have a 5 stars and a 2 stars feedback. So overall is 3. You may wondering why.......... ==================== Five Stars ========================= I had replaced two garage doors, openers and the whole tracks by them couple years ago. I was impressed by their professionalism on the work, quality products, reasonable price, prompt installation, and accommodating schedule. They even painted the garage doors on my drive way to match my house color. The new units, 4040L were so quiet operating, secure (code changes every time), safe (beam to detect and not close) and with an exterior emergency key pad. So impressed, I have recommended to all my friends and relatives. And we called Overhead and replaced our California home garage door too. ==================== Two Stars ========================= Nevertheless, it seems they are NOT as good in support and help afterward. I had a problem with the wall control buttons (not as sensitive and sometimes you have to pushed few times or stick inside) within an year and It costed $75. I thought that should be part of their warranty service. Then, I had some problems this afternoon on one of my garage door which won't close all the way down. I called them and Arthur answered the phone. I knew this should be something very simple to readjust or reset to make it working again. I tried to explain to him what happened and hoped he could give me few tips to try first before had him sent someone over. But he said it might take few hours to explain over the phone and kept pressuring to send someone over to check it out. Since I had an appointment came up, I told him that I would call him back when I return. Upon I returned home, I brought out the users manual and it took me ~5 min to figure out and adjust the "travel door up" and travel door down" settings on the opener. I called Art back and told him that I fixed the problem and not so happy of his unwillingness to help over the phone. I am sure he knows how to fix this kind of problem if he can just listen to my explanation more closely. He did not apologize. I just hope, they can be more sincerely listen to customer and help them with trivial issues or problems over the phone instead of always sending technician and costing them money. read more

I had an exceptional experience from my first phone call to the completion of repair. Mariska who scheduled our work made multiple calls to keep me informed on the schedule and followed up to make sure repairs were completed to my satisfaction. Sue shared pricing on replacing our doors which were very good and put no pressure on us to replace as opposed to repair. Bryce was at the house twice, we received a phone call both times and he was ahead of schedule both days. He was informative, professional and the job was done in a terrific fashion! If I could give zero stars, I would. It is now July of 2019. I had these garage doors installed in March of 2018. I gave JR examples of what Kaiser Garage Doors had and I made it very clear to Jr of what I wanted. I wanted a solid dark rustic look. JR convinced me that he could do that and that his sealing process was better. The doors show up and they were not even close to what I wanted. They were too light, almost a yellow rust in many places. JR convinced me to give it time, and after the monsoons, they would darken up. Instead, the sealant stared flaking. In June 2018, I told JR to replace them. After endless attempts to find out where they were in the process, they finally had me come down in October 2018 to look at some panels they were working on. They were exactly like the panels we had and I told them I would not accept those. In early 2019, after I stayed on them, they had me come look at some more panels...exactly the same. I told them that I felt like they were using me as an experiment in them getting into the rustic garage door business. JR then brought me "painted" panel samples. I don't want painted garage doors!!! I then contacted their corporate office and they told me that I must work with JR in the Tucson store and that there was nothing they could do for me. I have saved all my back and forth emails with JR. I am done with Overhead Doors. Poor customer service and don't deliver on their promise. You can see the poor quality in the pictures. I will spend my own money to have this fixed, and I will not work with JR from Overhead Door ever again. read more

Excellent service. They did a great, neat and professional job replacing my garage door opener. So happy with the new one--it's so quiet!!

Great Service and product. We are new to Tucson and asked around and Overhead Door was recommended. So glad we chose them. Our existing door was making a horrendous noise and this is why we called. The service tech explained all our options and we decided to replace the old chain driven opener with a new belt driven one that has a light and a lock which the old one didn't have.
