I attempted to trade them in for a larger size but the manager, barely glancing at them, told me they have to be in EXACTLY the same condition they were on the shelf, shrugged and said, "Sorry, can't help you." I tried talking to the regional manager by phone and he was extremely rude, seemed to find the whole thing funny, said, "Have a good day" while I was in mid-sentence, and hung up on me. I'm now out my money, but at least he got a good laugh out of it and I'm delighted to have made a $100 donation to the store with nothing to show for it in return. You might be next: trust me, warn anyone not to trust this place and go to Wal-Mart instead.

One pair went on sale after XMAS so I went back to claim the price difference. The store clerk found my purchase transaction in their computer, but because I didn't have my receipt the refund was denied. They also won't let me return a pair without the original receipt - even though the clerk remembered me and had the computer record of my purchase. This is unacceptable. Leading retailers like Costco, Home Depot, Amazon, and scores of others have changed the game in terms of customer service. All will look-up your purchase and provide any refunds, exchanges, credits, etc based on their own records. None expect their customer to keep track of little pieces of paper that they print out in store. Fortunately, I did eventually find my original receipts. Rather than requesting the price match, I just returned for full credit all the shoes I bought; just out of spite. I immediately bought them again at another store. Never again will I shop at SoftMoc and I go out of my way to tell friends and others my experience.

The most embarrassing experience ever. I wanted to throw my shoes out the door the moment I left. Avoid buying Blundstones from here.
