Most of the time, everything was fine. There was one security guard however that wanted to make my life miserable. Everytime I walked there , he would kick me out. He would start off by saying I needed to wear a mask( even if walking alone ) then he would say there was no walking due to Covid. We weren't in a lock down so I don't get it. Plenty of my friends walked in the parking garage and had no issues. This guy has a real issue and is definitely on a power trip. So what is the deal-can you walk there or not? Different rules for different people I guess

I was returning medication for a deceased friend, when I was treated rudely and lied to. " oh we…read moreonly take the pills" which is totally not what they are legally obligated to do. When you have medication and vitamins to be disposed of you are to remove all packaging and labels put the in ziplock bags and return them to the pharmacy that they came from for them to dispose of. I have personally returned expired /unused meds. To other pharmacies without the rude attitude, & lies.

The Hair Salon there will butcher your hair and only one stylist accepts interac...otherwise you have to pay in cash. The food court has food that is stale and overpriced...I tried 5 places and they were all the same bad food and service...I wanted to buy just one piece of fish from Mother Hubbards and i was told that they would not sell it that way...I guess they don't want the business or new customers....this Mall keeps Seniors as hostages due to overpricing and the lack of ability for Seniors to shop elsewhere. Also I ordered a pizza from the Pizza place and they said it would be twenty minutes. When I went back to pick up my paid for pizza....they had given it to somebody else!!!!

I walked by several times and wanted to see what was inside Citi Plaza. The first store I saw was…read morethe Ardene and then Bulk Barrel. Bulk Barrel is large and had lots of good treats, and I bought some caramels but could have got more for our upcoming road trip if I didn't already have snacks! I continued walking down the mall and it seemed nearly empty with few shoppers and stores too. I looked at the directory and it seemed there was a food court but I didn't see stairs/escalator to go down. There was a way upstairs but it didn't look like there was anything open up there. By the directory was seating and a few people having a rest. I stopped and looking in the direction I didn't walk in yet but I could see the doors and not many stores so I made my way towards the library. It's too bad this space isn't more occupied as it's spacious and central and for tourists, they might want to spend a few dollars here.

For what this mall went through and is going through, I think it's doing a fairly good job. It's…read morenot the top of the line mall like Masonville Place and White Oaks Mall, but it's doing it's best to service the downtown area. The employees here are wonderful, friendly and helpful and always looking to help and they're always smiling. Citi Plaza is doing great for what it has overcome, just like any business it's looking to move forward. This mall has several offices upstairs, and businesses downstairs, such as Rogers Wireless, Bulk Barrel, Dollarama, Platinum Wireless and Ardene's, just to name a few. There is also a CIBC bank. The North side holds the food court, which consists of Subway, Arby's, Chinese and Yu's Sushi, and the library is on the south side of the building and they also have events going on during the weekends. You can find the fountain in centre court with benches to relax and sit for a bit. Access to the other side of the mall is also available without going outside. When the holiday season comes along, the tree they have up is beautiful, a lot of people come to take photos with it, as I experienced walking by. On weekends, the Library closes around 5pm so you'll have to access the other side to use the washrooms if you have to go, unfortunately they are only one one side of the mall.

I have been a member of MEC for years. When I was a Prius owner, I liked how you could go to MEC…read moreand park in the parking spots designated for hybrid cars, which were closer to the store. Of course, I have been Prius-less for a year, but I don't mind walking a bit to hit MEC. I went to this location while I was in London. I had visited the old location, which was next to the Skechers outlet. There was a sign that said that the MEC was relocated a kilometre away. The store was bright and cheerful. I managed to get a number of storage travel tubs. You basically can pop them open with one hand and do the same to close them shut. They work well, especially for storing vitamins or smaller items in a round container. Folks with dexterity issues would find these storage tubs easy to use. The prices there can be up there, depending on what you are getting. However, you do see discounted items. They do exist! I tend to shop here for various bags -- reusable shopping bags, backpacks, sling backs, and more. They are all durable. (13)
