There were plenty of tubs and drying stations. There was also all the shampoo, conditioner, tearless face shampoo, whitening shampoo, towels, and water pressure we needed. We went in, set up, I'm making my own coat conditioner, and they didn't blink an eye as I whipped up beer and raw eggs for my conditioner. The force blowers helped to get our dogs dry, and their hair straight. And off we went, in under an hour, with two white dogs. Highly recommended!

A week ago my dog had a horrible ear infection that banfield Vet at Petco was treating the medication that was given wasn't treating it. I wanted them to check his ears cause they were still Causing him discomfort they we're not able to get me in for another two weeks. I canceled my membership and went over to this office they were able to get me in the same day the doctor was able to test and clean his ears. My dog was given medication, steroid shot and anabiotic's and I haven't seen my dog so happy in a long time. Love the old-school touch the veterinarian had! I feel so lucky that I found this office The Doctor & staff were amazing and wanted to thank them!

Dr Oliver who owns this facility failed to do a pressure test, a few days later my dog looked worse we called they gave is pain medicine saying yeah he may have pain. A few days later he was not getting better, they told us to bring him in on Monday. They did a pressure test and he had glacoma, this is common in husky. We are now being sent to spokane to try and save his eye if possible but it's obvious he has lost all vision. With glacoma you must catch within first 48 hours or the pressure makes them blind. His negligence made my dog blind because he didn't take the time to check everything. This place is good for big animals but not for small. They won't admit fault and will be reporting them to the vets board of directors. This is bullshit and I would love to strip him of his license. Looking at reviews this is not the first or last time, if you see this and your pet has gone through something similar please p Report we need at much as possible to shut this place down. That did the trick and not only kept the disease from progressing, but partially reversed some of the damage. We got almost another year of quality time with Tigger. He was not in discomfort and was his old self again. That same dog was having difficulty walking on hard wood floors, and Dr. Walker suggested some no-slip grips for my dogs pads. Again, the recommendation was spot on. Eventually my pet had to be put down. They were kind and compassionate. I was able to stay with Tigger through the whole event. They offered several options for his final arrangements. They provided me a clay paw print. About a week later I received a condolences card in the mail signed by the entire staff. The front desk staff are courteous, professional and very helpful. This is a busy clinic... and yes I am occasionally placed on hold, but usually only after they ask if its an emergency. Their prices are very reasonable. The cost of the prescribed medications were less expensive at this clinic than anywhere else I checked (local or online). I can't say enough positive things about Double Arrow and their great staff. One thing to keep in mind... this clinic changed ownership a few years ago and now have entirely new vets, techs and staff. So if you are reading reviews more than says 2 years old, they are not representative of the current clinic.

I moved to the Tri-Cities this year and have been looking for a vet that would have the patience,…read moreunderstanding, and skill to care for my rottie/aussie mix, Rosie. Rosie was an adult stray before I adopted her and she has some issues with fear, anxiety and fear-aggression toward other dogs. On past vet visits she has ended up so scared that her eyes are crazy-round, she's a quivering mess, and she's done a back flip over me to escape the vet's gentle prodding. I called Desert Veterinary Clinic and asked if they were comfortable dealing with this type of behavior, and they responded so well. They wish to keep the super-fear from beginning, and will prescribe anti-anxiety meds if necessary. Given their responses to my questions, I took Rosie to see them today. She was able to wait in the car until it was time to go straight into the exam room, and treats I brought helped calm her down a bit once in the room. The vet tech was so good with her and Rosie's anxiety was manageable. The vet tech (wish I could remember her name!) has a fearful dog of her own and understood Rosie completely. They took Rosie in the back for the exam, but it went very quickly, and kept giving her treats. They reported that she was really scared but evidently they treated her very calmly and compassionately and she was not traumatized when returned to the exam room. When Dr. Neuhaus came in, Rosie was not scared of her or the vet tech, and kept looking for more treats from them. I am so relieved to have found a great vet that makes the experience much less traumatic for Rosie (and me!). The clinic is clean and nice, the front staff helpful and efficient. I will be returning for teeth cleaning and other care soon!

He has happily become at home and used to his new schedule food at 7 and 4 walked soon after which he just went to the door which means I'm ready for my walk and morning poo ( he won't poo in his own yard). I can't say enough good things about this place. They care about the dogs and the homes they go to. The volunteers are awesome and hugged me when they found out he found his forever home. Thank you all for letting me bring him home.
