I am only giving Dr. Mary a two star because her 'hospital' got 1 star and she is actually a very…read moredecent person. 10 years ago, Dr. Mary was hands on and amazing. I suggested 'tubes in my deaf dogs ears' and she said she has only been a part of this surgery one or two times. After months of ear infections, she did the surgery. Indeed $1,100 but it stopped the appointments for chronic ear infections. I was well please she agreed to try. Henceforth, five years later... she does not have the facilities nor ability to care for her established patients. Last five calls, even their 'said drop off at 7:45' ceased and appointments were into the two week mark as an emergency drop off. That is not proper animal care, if you can not do the work, stop the process.

They call back and tell me my cat needs to be hospitalized because his liver enzymes are high. They're putting him on a IV and will take an X-RAY to see if any obstructions or issues. The next morning I call at 1030 to see how my cat is doing. They say he won't eat so I ask if I can see him. They say yes just come before 2:00. Savanna is the receptionist who takes me to a room and says they'll bring me my cat. I sit there for 20 minutes listening to the vet techs laughing and enjoying each other. I open the door to see if someone will help me. A different Tech asks can I help you? yes I'm here to see my cat and brought some wet food from home. They bring me my cat and leave. I hold my cat who is purring like crazy and try to feed him. The Vet comes in and introduces himself. We discuss the X-RAY and that he'll need an ultrasound which they don't have. They leave an estimate for $1500 on the counter. I look at the charges which include $15.00 for wet cat food. It's the 2nd day and he isn't eating so why are you charging us? The Vet tells me he wants the cat to stay another day because liver enzymes are high. It's a catch 22 because when a cat stops eating their liver enzymes climb so if he's stressed at the vet clinic he's not going to eat. The Vet tells me you can pick him up at 4:00 on Friday. He calls me at 1:30 and I miss the call. I call back immediately and the voicemail says the office is closed for lunch from 1 to 2. Now the Vet just called less than a minute before from that number! At 2 Chloe calls and tells me my cat is still sick and needs to stay. I tell her I'm coming to get him since the hospital stay cant find the cause. She tells me that I'm speaking to her in a raised voice and that she doesn't need to listen to it. I tell her how frustrating it is to be a client with a sick animal being charged $500a day for care that isn't helping, I go to pick up my cat and ask for my bill. The receptionist says " I'll print out a copy for you." I sit down and wait 5 minutes go back for the bill. She says" l'm in the middle of something and I don't have it" so why didn't she say that first instead of I'll print one out for you. The whole time you're waiting it's uncomfortable. The staff act like you're bothering them. No Customer Service at all unless you're a VIP customer and spend lots of money there. The biggest problem is the total lack of communication between the client and staff. There is no continuity of care so no specific vet tech is assigned to your pet. My cat was in their hospital for 3 days and I got one phone call from the Vet. When you call there for status no one can give you a straight answer. They're constantly saying "We had an emergency so we were really busy" it's an excuse for unprofessional behavior. I met with the Veterinarian and told him how I felt about his lack of communication. He apologized and later wrote in my pets history that "The O was angry about miscommunication and that he tried to call twice a day". Calling BS on that needless to say I'll never go there again!

Cons: - I'm probably going to say this one several times. The floors have a black mat overlay, which is better to walk on than concrete. BUT, I had to wash my white dogs EVERY DAY. Their paws, legs, skirting, and faces were dark grey. - The black flooring turned my pants black wherever it touched. - The dogs are breathing that black material as well as ingesting it when there is a treat that touches the ground. - One dog in my course left with Bronchitis. - we were wearing masks and still had black residue in our noses. Onward from how much I hated the flooring material. - I spent a shit ton of money for a 7 day training. During most of it there was banging and drilling and all sorts of noise because the facility didn't plan around the training, but rater opted to have maintenance or whatever done, during operating hours and during a time they had rented out the space. At times it was almost impossible to hear above the racket. - I felt this decision was incredibly disrespectful to our trainer and to those of us there for the training. I drove in for the training, as mentioned, paid a fair amount, and what I discovered is that I will never come back to this facility for another training, as the pros do not exceed the cons.
