This place has a great location on the water. They have a porch, beer garden setup with almost as many tables outdoors as indoors. They had a good diverse menu with reasonable prices.

Outriggers has a simple and relaxing ambiance. There menu is reasonable for anyone dietary restrictions and the menu & staff are unskilled in distinguishing otherwise. How hard is it to simply put G.F. on menu items for Gluten Free, like the Seafood Nachos which are corn chips? Service was friendly and polite, but slower than (snail or molasses, you choose). Reservation if 4 people had place setting for 2 people. Request for water took 15 minutes. We could get only 2 drinks apiece served in 3 hours and the food took over 1hour which was then luke warm at best. A steak ordered rare came out medium well, and our server was handling over 7 tables and making drinks themselves at dinner time. Clearly they could use someone trained in service area to improve, such as TV show Bar Rescue. Stats show any server with more than 4 tables, will have unsatisfied customers and lower tips. Case proven here! The end!

Outriggers has very nice outdoor seating and a nice view. The basics like fish and chips are decent. However, I tried their tuna nacho appetizer and it was bland and very poor quality products. Would not recommend.

The ceremony was outside almost on the water. What a view! There was a duet playing beautiful music before and after the ceremony. The bridal party and the bride walked down a staircase to the officiant. What a wonderful location for a wedding. After the ceremony we all went in, first for a cocktail party upstairs both in and outside with the magnificent view of the sound. The waiters were all extremely courteous and professional, and the bartenders made great drinks. There were trays of food being passed around as well as several stations. All was delicious with the exception of the mini lobster rolls. There was no more than a half teaspoon of lobster in each one. After the lovely cocktail hour, we were ushered downstairs to a beautiful dining room with a large dance floor. Again, the service was impeccable. My only criticism of the food is it was a bit sodium forward. Other than that everyone loved their meal. Whatever our hosts paid, they certainly got their money's worth. I would recommend it for your next event.

Outside ceremony: absolutely freezing, not enough chairs & couldn't hear a single word the officiant spoke. Inside/outside cocktail hour: again freezing & the hors d'oeuvres sent me immediately running for the ladies room with food poisoning! Inside dinner: very, very skimpy portions & cheap cuts! Who serves a 1/4 chicken (leg & thigh) at a wedding??? Worse than any of that... 8 top tables were set for 12! It was hideously uncomfortable! People were elbow to elbow & butt cheek to butt cheek with the person next to them. I could not move out of my seat without sliding my chair straight back, all the way out of the line of seats. When I was able to get out, I took a look at the room & saw plenty of empty areas where more tables could have easily been set up so that everyone was comfortable, not crammed together like sardines. In one of the more empty areas of the room, stood a table with small wedding cake, getting warm under the lighting, open for anyone to sneeze, cough or spread their germs/hair/etc on... for hours!!! (After seeing that, it's no wonder why the hors d'oeuvres sent me straight to the ladies room.) Long waits for the skimpy dishes! 1 hour from seating to salad course. 40 minutes between salad & dinner course. 50 minutes between dinner & tiny piece of warm, melted frosting wedding cake. Most people at our table didn't eat their whole meal & hardly anyone ate the cake. Worst time ever at a wedding/reception!!! (Note: in order to submit a review, you have to give at least 1 star. However, I would give Tyde at Walnut Beach ZERO stars!!!)

Milford's restaurant week was happening, and Costa Peru was on my list, so I decided to go there. My family ordered seafood, while I went with the Peruvian Chicken Wings topped with Peruvian Barbecue sauce, Ceviche Chicken Wings, and Lomo Salado. I was particularly curious about the Ceviche wings because I'd never heard of them before. The ceviche sauce is inspired by Aji Limo Ceviche, a lively Peruvian dish featuring fresh, raw white fish like sea bass or flounder "cooked" in lime juice, seasoned with citrusy, spicy Aji Limo peppers, red onions, and cilantro. It's usually served with sweet potato, corn, and leche de tigre (tiger's milk), offering a tart, spicy, and refreshing flavor. The Ceviche wings were fantastic. They had a bright citrus kick, and I could taste all the distinct flavors, including the spices and chilies. They really hit the spot. The barbecue wings were just as enjoyable, with a sweet yet tangy sauce and perfectly seasoned chicken. The Lomo Salado was also a hit; the rice was fluffy and full of flavor, and the tender Lomo meat practically melted in my mouth. For dessert, I ordered the flan. It was my first time trying it, and I was curious about the taste. Honestly, I didn't care much for the texture, but I'm glad I gave it a shot. My son picked the Passion Fruit Cheesecake, which was pretty good. It's not something I'd order again, but I'm glad I tried it. The service was excellent, and I'm definitely looking forward to returning and trying more dishes from the menu.
