No better bookstore than Vroman's! At least...within the close vicinity! This bookstore has it all…read more- they have Tepito Coffee inside (shoutout to proceeds going to Homeboy Industries), so many gift items, cards, knick knacks, things that - if you're looking for a gift for someone, you'll find something. Not just books! Not to mention their book selection is stellar and on point. When I went here recently (I come here often), they had an author speaking upstairs, and plenty of chairs out for an audience. Upstairs, they have tons of boxed cards and single cards, and again, lots of things that you may have not known you needed - or wanted to gift someone. I can truly spend hours in this bookstore. They also have additional seating and another drink menu inside as well. Literally, something for everyone! The prices are normal and I'm so happy to support local business in any way that I can. They also share a parking lot in the back with Total Wine and a couple other retailers. I had no idea! But definitely helpful. All this to say - worth checking out, and just know that you'll spend a ton of time here. It's good vibes all around - a perfect place to visit on a weekend, but really, anytime!

An absolutely delightful place to immerse yourself in wonderful books, meet extraordinary people,…read moreand enjoy delicious, reasonably priced food and beverages. The staff are exceptionally kind, welcoming, understanding, and professional, making every visit a truly pleasant experience. The café's charming atmosphere reminds me of Vincent van Gogh's Café Terrace at Night. Honestly, I love this place so much that it feels even more like home than my own home. It is truly a special place, and I couldn't recommend it more highly! Also, as a loyal premium member who has supported this business since 2016, I would like to bring to management's attention the exceptional customer service provided by a barista named Karine. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction, delivering high-quality service with a level of attentiveness and professionalism that makes customers feel genuinely valued. For example, today, despite working alone, Karine efficiently prepared multiple drinks while simultaneously engaging with customers and ensuring that everyone received attentive service. Equally impressive was the quality of the beverages she prepared. I typically avoid ordering coffee at this establishment because I have often found it to be overly strong and burnt-tasting. However, when I asked Karine for a sample of the coffee today, I was genuinely impressed by its quality. Her preparation was so exceptional that, from now on, whenever I see her working, I will gladly make a point of ordering a cup of coffee. Given her consistently outstanding performance, dedication, and commitment to customer satisfaction, I firmly believe Karine deserves serious consideration for promotion to café manager. She has repeatedly demonstrated the qualities of an excellent leader and has proven herself worthy of recognition and advancement. I hope management will acknowledge her exceptional contributions and give her the opportunity to take on a leadership role.

Three Floors of Bookish Heaven!…read more Some Sundays are simply magical, and this was one of them! Who knew a trip to Barnes & Noble could turn into one of the most delightful Sunday afternoons I've had in ages? THREE glorious floors of books, and just when you think it couldn't get any better, you discover the café on the third floor! With both indoor and outdoor seating, it's an absolute dream for book lovers. But here's where the magic really happens... Grab a coffee, step outside onto the balcony, and enjoy the beautiful waterfall below while music drifts up from the courtyard. The atmosphere is simply enchanting! It's the kind of place that makes you want to slow down, lose track of time, and savor every moment. I walked away with three books I've been dying to read and a newfound appreciation for the simple pleasure of spending an afternoon in a beautiful bookstore. Forget retail therapy. This is literary therapy at its finest! Five stars for an unforgettable Sunday. I only wish we had a Barnes & Noble like this closer to home! A little slice of book lover's paradise in Glendale

Upon entering there are towers of books all around, so much so that it's a bit difficult to walk around, though they appeared to have been in the midst of reorganizing and cataloguing new inventory. Regardless, it was like a treasure hunt to find books that piqued my interest. The prices were great. I'll definitely visit again in the future! The owner did mention that she had some personal matters to attend to the next few weeks, so the hours would be sporadic. If you love supporting small local bookshops, I recommend giving this place a visit!

The warm lighting, the golden walls, the endless spines of books -- it's cozy, nostalgic, and deeply comforting. You don't just shop here; you explore. And the owner? Truly an angel. Kind, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. You can feel how much heart and soul they've poured into this space. They don't just sell books -- they share stories, recommendations, and genuine warmth. The customer service alone makes you want to come back again and again. If you love books, hidden gems, or places with real character, this is one of those rare magical spots that reminds you why independent shops matter. I'll be thinking about this place for a long time.
