If you are looking for window panels, bedding, or home decor items, this is the place to go. Villa Firenze, previously a manufacturer, who has sold to many of the home decor retailers for the past 30 yrs, is now selling to the public at those same low prices. They are tucked into a warehouse area off of Laurel Canyon and Vose St, and it is worth the trip!
There is a large supply of beautiful fabrics to choose from, as well as others that can be ordered. The prices are nothing short of amazing, not to mention the quality and service. Florence, the owner, and her staff, are helpful. Whenever I am there, I hear how amazed other customer's are at the low pricing and selection of items.
Because they have there own workroom, the turn around time is usually less than two weeks. The prices are lower than anyone in town, and the amazing thing is, you can order custom sizes without a huge price! It has made me realize what a large markup the retailer's have on these items. If there is something that can be made out of fabric, I am pretty sure they can do it. I have bought window panels, pillows, slipcovers for chairs, throws, you name it.
It is also a great place to find inexpensive gifts, as there is an ever- changing inventory of items. I bought cute cosmetic bags for fifty cents, bracelets for a few bucks, and also some pretty pillows for $25. If you look at the closeout area, you will find window panels for $5!
You need to allow yourself time to look around. Take a look at some of the other home decor catalogs or stores before you go, and you'll really appreciate the prices. read more
