The waiter was great and everyone was very nice. Also the atmosphere was great. However, all good things come at a cost. The pizza seemed oddly similar to the frozen premade kind and there was no pasta or salad bar as advertised. Due to these circumstances I have left a 2 star review and stand firm in my decision. Additionally, upon further research it has come to my attention that Carl B a dedicated patron from 23 days prior ran into the same misfortune. I am confident that with a little further investigation I will be able to get to the bottom of this but for any future customers please reference the photos below.

First Thursday night NFL game of the year and our gang was looking for a place to watch it and Outlaw's delivered big time. Old, western bar atmosphere with an inviting group made this the perfect place for a football game. The pizza was outstanding and the beer was served cold in a frosted mug. The bar has a few slot machines and games to enjoy as well. Due to being short staffed, the main dining room was closed, but I was very impressed with the staff that night. They were hard working and made sure we were well taken care of. All in all, a great place to catch a game with some good pizza and beer.

We stayed in Gardiner for a week. Found this place 2nd to last day. Cost effective place to dine. (In Gardiner, that's hard to find) The pizza is near perfect!! We absolutely loved it!

Okay pizza...kind of in between frozen pizza and chain pizza. Would probably take better if you had a couple beers.

Good food, very bad service. If you're not in a rush and have 45 min to wait for a drink refill then you're good.

It's alright if you want good pizza just don't come here. It's mediocre and too expensive for what you get.

Also - if you drink coffee - the espresso machine was broken. My husband wanted a biscuit breakfast sandwich with sausage - they were out of biscuits. So I got him a bagel breakfast sandwich with sausage instead. I ordered sausage links for my baby, I asked if they had any kind of fruit I could buy for my baby. They said no that they only had bananas for smoothies - which is odd being a place that sells fruit smoothies... For myself I ordered a croissant sausage breakfast sandwich and a mango madness smoothie). My mother in law wanted a lotus energy drink - but they were out of lotus syrup. A few minutes later the gal that rang us up came to our table and let us know they were out of sausage for breakfast sandwiches. Asked what we wanted instead. They still has sausage links, so that's what we had on our sandwiches. When our food was ready they brought everything over except the sausage for my baby - which they clearly forgot to make cause that was a long wait till it arrived (5 or more minutes). Putting food in front of a hungry baby and none of it is for him is not a good idea lol. My husband ended up giving him his sausage and wait to eat his sandwich till they brought more over. I also gave my baby some of my smoothie - the smoothie was good. So, out of several items, and forgot part of our order.... Just seemed a bit chaotic. Food and smoothie was good and the people who work there are nice.

They were AMAZING! We sat outside enjoying our drinks and the river view from the expansive rear deck. It was then that we got what we hadn't expected.... burgers that were PERFECTLY cooked per our requests with fresh beef, leafy lettuce, succulent tomatoes and thinly sliced onions and accompanied by hot seasoned fries which were just as amazing as the burger! We were blown away.....what we thought would be nothing special turned out to be a memorable dinner that served as the cherry on top of a very special day for two retirees from WV!

Super casual counter service, with usual pub faves as well as some local flavors. We went with the: - hog wings - small but meaty, fried halfway to chicharrones with a Korean sweet sauce on the side, kinda salty even plain on its own - bison cheeseburger - solid burger, excellent and generous fries - brisket sandwich - generous portion of meat, kinda dry so I asked for more huckleberry bbq sauce on the side otherwise not very flavorful. Cole slaw was meh but I don't like Cole slaw (they wouldn't swap for anything else). Again excellent fries! Chased all this meaty salty heavy food with a local brew. Think $75 before tax/tip was pretty normal tourist prices - we were stuffed and didn't finish all the fries and buns.

Our second visit here was Monday evening and the food, service and overall experience was not very good. On Thursday we were given a children's menu, on Monday none was offered. We asked for the BBQ chicken sandwich for my 1 year old, but asked for just the chicken, no bun and the sauce to be on the side. Was served exactly as we asked. On Monday it was served just as it is on the menu, we had to send it back as my baby won't eat any sauce on chicken. Which is why we wanted it on the side so we can continue to try to introduce sauce to him but also get him to eat some plain chicken. On Thursday I had the pulled pork sandwich and fries. It was great. On Monday I had the quesadilla with barbicoa beef. The meat was excellent, but the bottom side of my quesadilla was soggy, not crispy at all and wet when it was served to me. On Thursday my husband had the Dizzy buffalo burger with the cheese curds, he liked it. On Monday he had the Westerner sandwich, he said it wasn't great. He ended up only having a couple of bites. I'm not sure what the difference was, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that hopefully they were just having an off night. Round out the two visits at 3 stars. I'd give them another shot if we visit again since one time was a really great experience.

They put the cheese on top of the burrito.. and were out of knives, so in order to eat it... we had to pry it apart with the plastic spoon and forks that we got. The chili was a complete disappointment.. I was really looking forward to it.. there was ONE block of meat... again, no knives so you couldn't really try and cut it apart and enjoy it in a few bites either.. The place has a great presentation, but the food and rules in general were a huge let down.

As a solo traveler, I am not unused to being treated as an other when dining by myself, but it's extremely disappointing that the restaurant attached to the hotel I'm paying hundreds of dollars to stay at wouldn't serve me because they didn't want to give a two or four top to a party only able to give them $20 maximum. The ironic part? I was just looking to have some fruit and protein and I would have been out of their hair in less than 30 minutes.
